Yeah, you know what the funniest part is? Everyday, tons of people call for Wii's, while the PS3's are there collecting dust :-D

Well, I wasn't planning on buying any VC games since I have most of the retro consoles you can buy games for already, and I'd rather play them on an actual cartridge. Weather and News Channel aren't available yet for Europe...but they will be before the end of the month, I think. Ah well, at least it works. Now bring on Super Smash Bros. Brawl...

I'm still figuring out how to get my friend code set up. Should have it up soon :) Edit: got it, see first post. Can someone tell me what I can do online as long as there are no games? I know you can send messages, but is there anything else?

Well, I've played a bit, got Internet working and toyed around with the settings. Wii Sports is really nice, I showed it to my two sisters and my dad (only one of my sisters plays games normally) and they all loved it. I think it's a really great game for newcomers, but I'd rather play Zelda myself. Zelda is as great as I expected it to be. Using the Wii is a bit hard (bet it'll work better on the Gamecube), but that good old "Zelda feel" is all over the place. It was worth the 1.5 year wait... Wii Play is pretty nifty, teaching you to use your Wii Remote. Since it was 50 Euro incl. a Remote (A loose Remote is 40), it's actually only 10 Euro. And that's the right price since it basically is a collection of tech demo's. But hey, you know you'll want a second Remote anyway...

I don't think it goes like that in the Netherlands. You just walk into a shop whenever you feel like it and ask if you can pre-order the Wii. Did that 3 months ago. If you don't have a pre-order, camping is pretty useless since just about every store sold out on pre-orders already. Anyway, I just got a call. I'm gonna pick it up right now :-D

Depends. Are you a mainstream gamer who just wants his games to look good? Get a Xbox 360 or PS3. Are you a real gamer who actually wants some innovation (last time that happenend was when games went 3D), get a Wii. I'm getting a Wii. I would even have gotten one if I wasn't a Nintendo fanboy (who does have a Dreamcast, PS1 and PS2, by the way).

By the way, if I understand correctly, you can online go online using a wireless router, right? Does anyone know if the DS' wifi dongle works (since I don't have a wireless connection, but I do have a dongle...)?

Well, I don't think the girl is the problem. By the sound of things, I'm guessing her parents are to blame. Of course, we can't be sure of that, but that'd be my guess. And 10 inch, that's somewhere around 30 cm. right? I don't think common kitchen knives are that long, so that's not an option...

I haven't bought anything for ages, save for some Bricklink orders. But even those must've been 6 months ago. So, this year it isn't much, but last year it was something like 300 Euro I think.

This reminds me of the sets I got from my uncle. They must be from around that area, but infortunately all but one boxes and all instructions are missing. By the way, I really love the curved building in the upperleft corner on the first page. Very cool!

We don't need one. I mean, not even Star Wars has it's own forum, so why should some new theme which will likely only last a year, maybe two, have one?
