  1. Absolutely brilliant. There are very few MOC creators who can make something even Lego would produce. You're one of them, and even in a theme that most people don't seem to make any MOCs for. To make something this simple yet good with only 146 bricks means you're a great builder. And yes, I am wondering why in the world 146 bricks would cost you 65$ ;-)
  2. Will there be a forum the size of BZP? The answer is no, the reason is simple: Exo-Force doesn't have the lifespan that Bionicle has. Bionicle has been going strong for what, 8 years now? Exo Force may run 1 or 2 more years at its longest, then it'll die out. And the one reason why BZP is so large is because there still is plenty do discuss (i.e. new sets). And besides, I find myself just incapable of visiting too much forums. I basically visit EB, then ocassionally CSF and Lowlug, a dutch forum. I just don't have time for more, especially not one which goes into details about a single theme. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has this problem.

    sigh.

Wow, that's heavy man. All I can say if tons of luck and strength to you and everyone else involved...
  4. Ah, that explains why SW4J is logging in so much lately! :-D
  5. Next: screen
  6. Happy birthday everyone ;-)
  7. I haven't been to the US Ebay for a while, but the Dutch Ebay works just fine...
  8. I never thought there were so much anti-Bionicle members here. As I said before, I'm not a fan, but I do own 7 of the first sets (namely the first 6 Toa and some set with 2 flying creatures). However, I see a very disturbing trend in toy stores: their Lego shelf is becoming a Bioncle shelf more and more. Town gets very little space while Bionicle gets at least half of the total space avaliable. My opinion is that kids need to play with Lego, then move on to Technic/Bionicle. But what happens is that kids seem to skip the normal Lego and start with Bionicle. Still, Bionicle does have great MOCing potential (especially when combined with System) and has added quite some useful pieces to Lego's catalog (although it also added tons of useless pieces). I don't like Bioncle, but it's not like I hate it. Therefore, I wonder exactly why those who type 'Die Bioncle Die' and similar things hate Bionicle. Any good reasons to hate it more then, say, Clickits, 4+ Pirates, Z'NAP or Galidor?
  9. I've been working on this forever: (Front) (Back) I've really hit a dead end on this. I've built some more after these pictures were taken, but I still don't like it. I also don't really feel like scrapping it though. I might end up making 2 of those engines and use them in a bigger MOC. Then again, I've built a hidden gun under a hatch at the bottom, so I'd have to remove that, but I love it too much. Hm, I need to build again, I haven't touched this for months...
  10. I think I've seen them at Intertoys as well as Bart Smit. I don't really watch Bionicle though, but they had most other 2007 sets (except for Aqua Raiders). Then again, it might be bound to specific stores, so you might want to ask when your store gets them.
  11. Well, if you're getting one, here's some of my favorites: Chrono Trigger (USA only): Must-have, one of the best RPG's ever created. Classic. 40-50 Euro, cart only Final Fantasy III (USA only): See Chrono Trigger. Best FF in my opinion (yes, better then VII). 30-40 Euro, cart only Turtles IV: Turtles in Time: My favorite multiplayer game. A great beat em-all which is 10 times more fun when played with a friend. 10 Euro, cart only Street Fighter 2: No introduction necessary, I believe. The pinnacle of 2D fighting games. 5-10 Euro, cart only Super Mario All-Stars/Mario World: Mario All-Stars contains the 4 NES mario games and will keep you busy for quite a while. Mario World is a classic too. Can be gotten on one cartridge or on two. 10-15 a piece or 20-25 for 1 cartridge (cart only) Super Metroid: 2D gaming at it's best. Short but high replay value, an absolute must-have. 15-20 Euro, cart only You'll want to look at Ebay US for the USA only games as they tend to be cheaper there (but shipping might be high and you need a US SNES or a converter to play them).
  12. Didn't we have one which hardly anybody visited? It didn't work back then, why would it work now?
  13. Sandblue and yellow pieces to make a Chocobo. Yes, it's a hype but I like having one in nice colors :-P
  14. ZNAP. But since that's not an option, I'll go for Clickits. With Bionicle as a close second (I know, tons of fans, I just think it's terrible and goes at the cost of 'real' Lego. Half of all sets in toy stores are Bionicle nowadays).
  15. Or the person who does not live in the UK... |-/
  16. If you're a real retro gamer, you'll want the vintage systems. Trust me, emulators just don't have that feeling the actual consoles do ;-)
  17. It will be taken down when the MODs have time, as was stated in this topic already.
  18. The NES is the only retro Nintendo console I don't own. Mainly because I never cared too much about it. I would love a complete SNES collection though (since the SNES is hands down the best system ever made). Apo, you do realize you named some of the more expensive games there, right? Especially Terranigma since it was never released in the US. Then again, German language versions usually are cheaper. Ok, I'll stop there, else I'll keep on talking about retro games for hours :-P One last thing though: 220.000 dollars is sick. It can't be worth that much...most of his games are cart only...
  19. Emerson, Lake & Palmer - Peter Gunn theme
  20. I love the roof and the fence with the battle droid arms. Small but very good details indeed!
  21. Interpol! :-D For now: Frankie goes to Hollywood - Ferry 'cross the Mersey
  22. I'm guessing Rayman: Raving Rabbids ;-)
  23. Pink Floyd - Echoes
  24. Congrats!
