  1. Transfered 43 credits
  2. Don't know what happened... I'll update the timeline and add your credits, and then try to see what caused that bug
  3. Well I won't transfer credits until I've entered all the builds, so you ask for a transfer, but I won't do it immediatly
  4. This is a topic to discuss the creation of a "Traveler's Guide to Andromeda". You can submit entries in one of the categories: aliens, fauna or flora. When submitting an entry, please use the right template.
  5. Great news and shameless topic bump! The Pilgrim isn't lonely anymore as a second (and I hope soon a third...) one as been built! If you too want to build one, I've created a website (still a WIP) to share my work. The Pilgrim's LDD is for sale, but there are some free stuff for you to grab if you are interested
  6. Thanks everyone Agreed, great to see me building again I had fun building all those vehicle, even if I had to build with limited parts. There is a big control screen that can be linked to the double optical on the front! Dr Long wouldn't approve a vehicle that can't see in front of him... Trans-pink is one of my favorite colors! Go get some At some point I had a two seats version, but with a two studs space between each canopy.
  7. Thanks Yeah probably, but I needed a Kawashita vehicle
  8. Thanks guys (and girl!!)
  9. Exploring the galaxy might be very dangerous and certainly very time consuming. And Time is money... That's why Octan Corporation developed the Observer. Filled with optical devices and all kind of sensors to detect life forms or minerals. Dispatched on planets as part of exploration missions, it can map vast areas very rapidly. (For those interested, LDD file is downloadable on my new website)
  10. Ok, thanks a lot everyone I guess I'll go for the balloon tires as they looks way better!
  11. The build can be on any planet accessible for the corporation, not becessary the same planet as the original build.
  12. Thanks I've updated the rules. I also added a paragraph stating that you can choose a build among the weekl builds and Challenge 2 builds
  13. Yes exactly. Do you maybe have a better wording? I have to admit I had some difficulties writing this
  14. There have always been some freedom in sigfig colors... But an Octan white minifigs would look strange as part of Kawashita or Mantis. Edit: And that totally don't answer your question!
  15. Challenge 3: Space & Time distorsion After having spent months in the Andromeda Galaxy, the courageous explorers of the three corporations started to feel safe. They conquered the rough and various environments of most of the planets without encountering real threat to their missions. But the biggest danger is the Galaxy itself! A few days ago, the massive blackhole at the center of the galaxy started to emit waves of energy that affected both machines and minifigs. People experienced mental confusion and short term amnesia. Some woke up in a different place, and spoke of a different time... Category A – Different Space Rebuild a previous AG creation from another player from another corporation as if he/she was part of your corporation. Category B – Different Time Rebuild one of your previous AG creation as if you choose another corporation. Your sigfig must be present with its new colors. The new and original builds must be similar in shapes and functionnality but not identical. Judging: Entries will be judged between 1 and 8. Additionnaly, 0 to 2 points will be awarded for the improvements of the original build (techniques, photography, etc...). Rewards: Winner will receive 50 credits, the corporation of the winner receives an additional 10 gold, 10 copper and 10 mithril. Winning corporation will receive 200 awesomnium, 100 water, 100 biomass and 10 gold, 10 copper and 10 mithril. Rules for all categories: All rules in the General Rules thread apply unless otherwise. Players will earn credits according to their score. There is no size restriction. Entries' posts must contain a link to the original build. The challenge will run from November 16th to January 10th. As long as it is still January 10th somewhere in the world, you can still enter. Entries posted after the deadline will be disqualified from the challenge and will not be scored. Entries will be judged according to the General Rules. This challenge is open to all players of Andromeda's Gates, even if they joined EB or signed up for the game after the challenge has begun; the Andromeda's Gates staff, EB admins and moderators are not eligible to win prizes but may earn credits. All entries must be new creations, not posted anywhere else prior to being entered in the challenge. You may be asked by a staff member to change your entry if it is too similar to an earlier creation. All entries must be built from real LEGO or with Lego Digital Designer. No clone brands, no third-party custom parts. All entries must be posted as a new topic in the Andromeda's Gates subforum, the title prefixed by, "[Challenge 3][Cat X]". (For example, "[Challenge 3][Cat A] Vessel name".) Post pictures no larger than 1000x720, as specified in the EB Member Guidelines. For obvious reasons, any photo editing that changes the shape, functionality, or color (not tint or adjustment, but actual color) of a LEGO piece is prohibited. All entries are considered WIPs (Works In Progress) until the deadline passes. Until the deadline has passed, you are allowed to change and improve your MOC. Choosing a previous build: You can choose a build among all the weekly builds and Challenge 2 builds. Remember that the player index has links to every builds for all the players. Alien builds: Aliens are allowed to compete in all categories categories. Aliens player should rebuild a corporation's build as an Alien build for Category A. For Category B, corporation players can rebuild their previous build as an Alien build. Winning a category with an alien build will only award credits. Domination and resources: Domination points and resources will be awarded to the corporation depicted in the build, which is not necessarily the corporation the builder belongs too. For example, if an Octan player rebuilds a creation as if he had joined Kawashita, Kawashita would receive the domination points and resources, though the Octan player would receive credits as usual. Determining winning corporation For each category, the corporation score is calculated by adding 0.2 point for each participant to the average of all the participant's scores. The winning corporation for category is the one with the highest score. Overall winner The corporation which scored most points, all categories scores added together, wins the challenge and will receive an additional: 50 gold, 50 copper and 50 mithril.

M.A.N.T.I.S.'s fleet moves from E01 to H03. First Aliens' fleet moves from E11 toC10. Second Alien's moves from G05 to H04. Third Alien's fleet moves from F09 to G08. (Map will be updated once the scores are posted)
  17. I'm looking for more easily available tires, for the instructions. I agree the balloon tires looks way better, but I'm wondering if they'll collapse under the weight of the body. For info, the two front "legs" don't support any weight.
  18. I've built a MOC some times ago that has absolutely nothing to do with technics... except for the wheels for which I used my old 4267 tires. Now I'd like to make instructions for that build but I'm not sure which tires to use. I've found that #55976 fits and looks cool but I'm not sure if they'll keep their shape due to the weight. Or else I could use #32019 that also fits. Since I don't own any of those "new" tires, I'd like to have your opinion, thanks. The Cockroach by BobDeQuatre, on Flickr 55976: 32019:
  19. Yeah I agree about the wheels. This morning I switched them for black ones and it does looks better. I wanted to try using the binoculars like this for a long time.
  20. Freebuilds are completely free. You can picture anything, but if you want to tell more backstory of your character, then it is better to have something tied closely to the game, and hence the available planets for your corporation.
  21. Tags: vehicle, land vehicle Since we are in constant need for new source of water, I was sent to Lesser Drigo to sample some of the water sources discovered by our explorers. But it seems that I'mm not the only one interested by that water!
  22. The Sandstorm is a fast buggy designed for recon mission in sandy environment.
  23. There is a thread here to discuss wanted licenses.
  24. Thanks...
