O_O. I haven't played the Speedorz game yet, but from what you guys have been saying, it sounds really fun! I do plan on getting some Speedorz purely for figures (Lagravis, Rawzom, etc.). So far I think Speedorz has more gameplay but Spinners still hold a special place in my heart for being the starting spark for my love of Ninjago.

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Tobias_Jay replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Sadly I am betting my money on him being a Comic-Con exclusive figure . Or maybe the pre-order exclusive for the new game. -
I am not very observant, was there any white hood pieces revealed at NYTF? I really want to make a purist Ghost figure. If not, can anyone think of some alternatives? I have every part sorted except the hood.
-
I actually refer it to Elemental eXtreme, but sorry it was a force of habit that I find hard to break. That is what I call them and I meant to call him Kimono Cole for the review to avoid confusion, however I seemed to have failed at that

Just bought Cole's Earth Driller, Warrior Bike and Garmatron (and 76000 but that isn't relevant here). All 3 of them are great sets, I may do some mini-reviews of the Earth Drill and Warrior bike but I will have to write a full review for the Garmatron, that may take a while. EDIT: Mini-reviews of Warrior Bike and The Earth Driller. Coles Earth Driller- When I first saw pictures of this set, I have to say I was underwhelmed by it. It looked too exposed, too small, just really not a good set. But because I am a Ninjago completist and it included Cole EX I had to buy it. I have to say after building it, my opinions have greatly changed for the better. This is a great little set. Even if it isn't the same size as the one in the show it still looks great in its own special way. The stickers made me forget how annoying they are, they go well with the set and I can't imagine it looking any good without them. The drill piece turns when you move the the front wheels, yes we have seen that in Power Miners and Super Heroes but it is a fitting feature and the drill piece in Warm Gold is exclusive to this set, I that is any interest to you. Can I also say the cockpit can be very easily modded to fit two minifigs. Also the console has a screen with a silhouetted Sensei Wu as a nod to episode 24. The figures are great Cole looks great in his black and grey kimono and his Light Blade is green and has the same hilt as the Nunchucks of Lightning. The Stone Swordsman is magnifique, regardless of the fact he is in two other sets. Warrior Bike- This bike is a very interesting design. A treadmill with two wheels at the back and a missile launcher. To clarify by interesting I mean really cool. The missile launch feature works really well. Pull a lever at the back and the rack will fall a bit. Due to a rubber band, when you let go of the lever, another lever type thing flings forward and pushes the missile forward. Repeat the process two more times to launch the other two missiles. The only flaw is that they are not Flick-Fire missile pieces, so if you hold it wrong they fall out easily. The minifigs are excellent, Jay in his blue and black kimono is excellent. His blue Light Blade may just be my favourite Blade. His jetpack however is not so amazing. I am happy they included a vehicle for Jay so he isn't left out, but it is just too simple and not very many pieces were used, it just looks a bit messy, that is all. The Warrior is, how to put it, . It is excellent, the helmet is big and stocky but the designers found a way to make look really great! Final scores: Cole's Earth Driller: 9/10 This little Drill greatly surprised me at how it looks and what it does. Warrior Bike: 8.5/10 The design is great but there are some flaws and Jay's jetpack was quite underwhelming.

The preview for the next episode of the T.V show showed more Rhinos behind Rhogon(?) so I think it is safe to assume there will be a full Rhino tribe. I also think there will be full tribes of Skunks and Foxes, but they don't side with anyone, I think they will be neutral tribes.
-
I am not a fan of The Lone Ranger, but I love me a Lego train (Emerald Night is still a favourite of mine ). This is definatly my favourite of the line.
-
Beavers?!? Seriously? This is getting ridiculous. This brings the grand total of tribes to 11. Beavers aren't generally the first animal I think of when you think "animals at war". Why aren't there any Tigers or Elephants? My main problem with the Beavers is their headpiece looks like it restricts movement which I find disappointing. I will probably like them better later when they are released as figures. But all I am thinking is "what's next, Penguins?".

The angle of the shot isn't great but from what I can see it doesn't look bad. May not buy it but I will pick it up if I have money to blow. Also notice Eris has the armor that covers the figure's chest. I know right! He looks so cute and cuddly in the show, here he still looks not-as-cute and not very cuddly. Still a great figure that I will buy when he comes out.
-
I expected Skinnet to have small legs, like he did in the show, but regardless he and Furty look great! I will definatly have to try to get all the gorillas! They all look awesome in my opinion. Does anyone know if we are getting those armor pieces that were on Laval, Cragger and Razar at the start of the video?

If the T.V series continues in 2014 then I can see it happening, because it seems like that is the only place that can be their headquarters. But a D2C set, weeeeell, it isn't as big and spectacular as, say, a Drago-Lord or Garma-Mech. I sincerely hope it comes out some day, but most likely 2014 than late 2013.
-
Golly, I'd buy that but it would be quite a wallet cleaner .
-
As much as I'd like to see the Garma-Mech, an Drago-Lord is much more desirable in my opinion. It would be even better if it came with a Dareth figure!
-
I expect him to look like his appearance in Lego Star Wars III
-
I was just about to point that out. If it is in fact the new design, then it looks like they found a way to make it a little less *cough* revealing than the last variation. The new hairpiece is vastly improved as well.
-
Should we consider the possibility of a store exclusive set later this year(a 10xxx digit set)? Because Toy Fairs generally don't show exclusives, which could explain the absence of new Ninjago on show.

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

Aww, I was just about to post those pictures . The confident face doesn't really suit Iron Man or RDJ for that matter. However, I think the scared face is great and much needed. -
Wow, that mech looks great! The Gorilla tribe looks awesome! Will definitely look for the price of this set. Chima is looking up and could well be a great success. I also love those berry catapults!
-
I think I will try to get this calendar just for kid Boba and Santa Jango. Also have to try to pick up the Sail Barge and Gunship. I really can not wait to see the Coporate Alliance Tank to see wether or not to buy it. Probably buy it anyway for Jango!

That Man of Steel is so simple but so great. The car can be useful for other themes like City, but really I am ecstatic to be getting a General Zod figure in my collection. Sorry if this has been posted before but this must be the Mk 42 Iron Man suit. I have to say he looks great. http://images.wikia.com/lego/images/1/16/IronManMkXLII.jpg ( sorry, if you have to copy paste it into your URL bar. iPads can be very restrictive when it comes to Eurobricks). -
As howie28 said, the set is $60 in Australia, which is an alright Australian price for a set that size. But also the 2013 sets are selling like hotcakes. I have never seen every set in the one place. The irony is that there is always sheles full of Chima. Don't suppose the show has aired in Australia (I don't have Cartoon Network, I watch Ninjago and Chima on YouTube).

Yikes, should have bought it when I saw it yesterday. Still can't find the Garmatron anywhere. I hope to check again sometime this week.

Oh... well I finally got to see it. I must say the series looks like it is becoming interesting. Although I will have to watch to see what that flower thing is all about...
