  1. Well Done Whitefang! Congrats on "jazzing up" a set review with the EB News Crew! It was hilarious especially seeing the Quad bike racing out of the box already assembled, now if i can just squeeze my way into the audience, or perhaps a cameo "Ice Scream Clone reporting!,lol Once again congrats on a great set review and i hope to see more!
  2. My wife braved the Target sale, but didn't mention any Clone Wars sets. She was kind enough to get me the Knight and Fireman Impulse sets, Woohoo! Cool Wife On! Thats cool, im off to TRU to see what they have in! The Spider droid has caught my eye!
  3. Great review! I really like the look of this set, and having played a lot of battlefront I am quite keen to pick one up in Australia when it comes out (after the DS is paid off) Looks like some nice greebling and cool colour scheme too.
  4. Good luck to you both and all other contestants! I had a lot of fun making my entry!
  5. (Funny about that Paul! I guess it would be a pretty boring game if we couldn't vote people off ) Now where did i leave that bottle of Sarsaparilla! Its time for an afternoon drink of the non-alcoholic variety. So Mary has return from the sun deck! Any news to report from last night?
  6. I really wanted to focus on individual trolls, and i should have individualized them a little more, thanks for the tip! I must admit it does have a certain element of Lord of the Rings about it, unintentionally though pleasantly noted by you and Sandy. I will have to look for "The Last Ring" thanks for the heads up. Thanks for all the recent comments on all my MOCs Bluebard, I really appreciate them. Thanks, I really love building cliff faces at the moment though i need to get some more slopes especially these to finish off with
  7. (OOC: I almost wet myself!) Lord Gary surviews what has become of his pink dress upon lending it to Savril, and he is not pleased "My god! Good man it looks like you have tromped all over Europe in that thing! You may as well keep it now, a split all the way up the back doesnt really flatter my curves" Lord Gary races for the lavatory (sounds can be heard from within sounds like he is calling out for Ralph, cant say ive seen him around these parts, must be the janitor) (ok now ive confused myself with all this third person stuff, where's Adam when i need his English teacher skills)
  8. Urg and Grog, the advance troll party, have been dispatched ahead of the Mighty Troll Armada, which is set to storm the beaches of the Good Kings Kingdom (cant really have a kingdom without a king i suppose ) Here we see our two intrepid Trolls brave the stormy seas to light the beacon that will keep the Armada off the dangerous reefs. As Grog holds the dingy steady, Urg, fearing a good lashing for failure, ascends the carved granite staircase to the beacon. Holding his torch to the kindling the bonfire quickly ignites lighting the way for his fellow warriors! My Flickr Thanks any comments appreciated!
  9. Man you keep raising the bar! Well done on a great creation again. I always admire your creations and they also show me what extra parts i need to purchase as well. The shrine uses upside down arches nicely. The stream is great and really gives a nice flow feeling. The tree foliage is nice and the Shrine roof is
  10. I like the overall feel of the Temple! I also commend your patience in building it on LDD, I use an LDraw program and i usually only get so far then crack out the real thing and get building. The Tomb is nice as well. Nice to see respect to the other religions too It all has a real Golden Child feeling.
  11. (OOC Wont happen, Dragonator will randomly kill one of us!) So Paul, before you get all delirious form the alcohol! Who has aroused your suspicions?
  12. Well Kyle, if what you have written is too be believed, You and Savril have my thanks for stopping Marcus from murdering me! I Unvote Kyle/Trexxen and Vote Paul/Commanderbly42 Words are indeed a powerful tool! As such i will pass my vote to Paul and if he is to be executed then i will have voted in error, though something just doesn't add up with the Cellar and Cellar keeper. That Savril guy is just weird, We are all Sinner's here even the good Friar, and dont forget the boys and Mary who are sleeping round out of wedlock On the mention of Night Actions, I have said many times before i have no night actions, i really am quite boring.
  13. In light of recent findings I Unvote Mary/Zepher Vote Kyle/Trexxen I feel Rotrigous and Byron have made correct assumptions and i shall hereby do a (OOC :Mystery Castle on! great game and lets follow those rules ) Heres to no more misquoting!
  14. Welcome to EB Adverse Camber (leans to one side ) It always starts with one cool set and you are hooked again. Mine was the Hoth base, and now i reside mostly in Castle land over yonder horizon. Well camber is a term used in relation to tyres and racing cars, you can have positive and negative camber. Here is the wiki
  15. Nice to meet you Gen Knowledge! Welcome to EB! That is a great choice of user name by the by! I feel for the loss of your older lego, but now you will just have to spend even more on the newer stuff or ebay Cant wait to see you Brigadier etc
  16. A hearty welcome to EB and off to a nice start! Nice angle on the photography by the way! Really gives the Dragon an impressive view! and makes it appear quite intimidating. The Castle itself looks good, and perhaps some details on the ground and interior will help to complement the MOC further! Well done Yloquen Mooncheese, The Black/ Red dragons are different from 7093 and 7094, they have reversed the colours on them etc
  17. Runs and hides in the Corner! "make it stop!, make it stop! " Oh wait you are only joking "If im guilty of anything, its of caring too much for this fine kingdom " As if........ On with the show, well we have 2 votes for Mary and one for Adam so far. Man i could sure go for some chili for lunch
  18. Wow, what a cool castle and set in general! I had no idea that this set existed (long dark ages) Thanks to you metalandi for such a great review! The figures look really nice and the set is full of lots of little trinkets , details, traps etc! I have already had a look on ebay for this set. Looks like a great set for parts too. I give the review 4.5/5 evil witches. Cheers ISC :skull:
  19. Well my dark ages were for about 20 years, so i only really remember sets like this So KK and KK2 hold no special nostalgia for me! I really love the current line with Trolls, Skeletons and Dwarves thrown in. Its a real fantasy feel this time round. Cant wait to see what 2009 has in store, well once i fill out my Troll army anyway.....
  20. So its ok for you to say you are a loyalist, but when i do it, Im still considered a possible traitor! Anyone can quote and edit! Perhaps we need to open a window in here, I feel its getting all to heated! Lord Gary of Garyness moves over to a large window and opens it, feeling the soothing breeze rush in to the musty room, he sighs "there is much still to consider when it comes to finding this traitor or traitors." "Strangely, we have all seemed to take guidance from Lord Savril and Rotrigous in the past, and with those two predisposed polishing armour or some such activity down the hall involving pink dresses , perhaps it falls on another senior member of the Royal Family to kick off the voting!, Well other than Lt Byron " "Im still tossing up between Mary and Paul, though i believe i will point out that Paul does seem to have had some mixed up dealings with traitors and voting in the past!" However in this case i will Vote Mary/Zepher as it was apparently a ploy from other traitors to distract us from her early on in the first few days! A Man with divided loyalties is truly a troubled man! Perhaps I can offer some consoling to you good Friar. Come let us have a quiet chat (alcohol isn't the answer, but is good for wetting the whistle )
  21. Nicely done KDog, I think you have definitely captured the older space feel with this clever domicile! The spaceship is very nice, especially the red wings and curved side panels! A simple suggestion to make the personal computer more accessible is a swivel brick for the computer Keep up the good work!
  22. Hi, and welcome to EB! So we can expect to see you in History/ Adventure? How long have you been collecting for? Any other favourite themes? See ya round!
  23. Another nice review with excellent photography too! Well Done! Cool Wife On! Mine too, she surprised me today with a Knight and Fireman impulse sets! Woohoo!
  24. Chill out all, Stash was just trying to spice the game up a bit, and he only got to play for a few days! Dragonators quote states and since Stash was a player where is the harm?!
  25. Oh man, so there is no real apparent motive for the remaining contestants for the throne! I do remember that note about Lords, and Savril read it out as And since Savril and myself have proven to be loyalists (wow self promotion, how gratifying) we need to divert our attention elsewhere. Mary and Paul certainly have raised my suspicions lately..... Not to mention nearly all of us have had a bout of gastro (in real life too)
