I had the same problem here. I complained and all they said was that it was a faulty sticker sheet and they sent a new one. Took about 3-4 weeks...then, applied the new stickers and same problem. Will likely complain again... ~ Jay

Just visited ToysRUs in the U.S. on its web site. Purchased the town plan at buy one get one 50% off along with another set. If only they had it for the expensive Pirate ship set. They did have the other lower-priced items at this deal though. I think it lasts through tonight (Saturday 12/6/08).

I saw three of this set at my local Target too...sounds like a good guess to me. This might make it worth while to wake up early that day :)

I too used this today and picked up the Creator beach house...sweet deal at $25. I found it odd though that the url has the words "birthday_coupon_toys" in it. Might be some indication of what it's for. That Indiana Jones set is next on my list :-) ~ Jay

The new Dwarves' Mine was available yesterday at a local Target in Ohio USA. Saw a new Technic set too, but didn't pay any attention to it though. Just waiting to see the new City sets in stores...

Saw this set in a TRU in the Dayton, Ohio, area today. There were about 10 on the shelfs at $31 each. I was hoping to see the new fire station, but oh well...maybe soon. :-/

I finally found some time to upload additional photos of my Lego city...there are individual photos of buildings and scene at my brickshelf gallery (when moderated) here. I updated the city a bit and added two new buildings, a red one and a yellow/brown one. The overall city looks somewhat like this now... I'm located in Madison, Wisconsin USA. I of course was surprised it was there as the set isn't on shop@home or Lego Brand stores yet. The set is actually slightly smaller than I expected and it was a quick build. The large plastic bucket is kinda flimsy, but serves the purpose well. There are stickers for the caution stuff that are applied to that large piece. The smooth plate on the front though has the design printed on it. I don't know if it's worth the $29.99, but I had a $25 gift card to use...so that made it worth while. If it was $19, I'd probably end up with a fleet of them though... It'll be interesting to see when this set makes it to catalogue though...

Just picked up the 7344 Dump Truck at ToysRUs today. :-D They had the large crane and construction sets there also. A couple new designer sets too...the one with the lion and the one with the red cars.

I realize the sets were old news...however, the fact that Amazon has them on preorder with a date, I thought those items were newsworthy. Was it reported earlier that the large castle was going to be priced at $99 though? Anyway...I've been enjoying this site quite a bit for the past couple months and I hope to post new info if I find anything exciting out early.
