Amazing! Dat stern is so prettyful! That is a word, right? The only thing that I find off is the dark red. Aside from that,

Welcome Spider-Man! Your my favorite superhero! Maybe you can save us from Lego robbing our wallets -
Would you care to explain? It seems like a nice idea, except that I have no idea what you're trying to say Some clarification would be highly contributive

Wow! It seems a little bit complicated for a taxi Kidding aside, the clear back part is really amazing Nice job!

For some strange reason, Stormer looks more hulking than the Hulk! Seriously, even if I'm not an action figure person, I love how beefy he is Stormers definitely hulkier than Hulk

What're your favorite and least favorite Star Wars sets?
friedchikenfairy replied to Loco de Lego's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Definitely the 'Podracer Bucket' The pod racers looked like pieces of junk rather than fast speedy racers! They should've just named this set Watto's Junkyard -
Despite the fact that it can't hold a mini figure, all of the angles are stunningly accurate The studs just make the overall aesthetic really tough and militaristic looking. I hope you can find a way to incorporate the driver's area! Good job!

Ooh! I LOVE how the fins are so sharp and angular looking, while the hood is so flat. It really adds to the Overall coolness factor. I hope to see more of you soon!

Hey there! Its the friedchikenfairy and today, I'm gonna be doing a review on the not-so-new-anymore Batman jet ski polybag! Excuse the yellowness and reflections on some of the pictures; its my first time taking pictures of Lego (and writing a review!) . I never knew they reflect so much! Anyways, I know most people want to get this polybag for the new TDKR helmet. Is this "Bat-ski" worth it like fried chicken(YUMS) is? Or is the bat-helmet the only thing that saves it from being like burnt chicken? Read on to find out! *CREEPY SUSPENSEFUL MUSIC PLAYS* Set title: Batman JetSki(How creative ) Set number:30160 Theme: Superheroes(duh) Sub theme: DC Subsubtheme: Batman Parts: 36 Minifigure(s):1 Year of Release: 2012 Price: $4.99 Here's more pictures if you want themMy flickr Box Polybag (Stolen aimlessly from the internet Credit to whoever posted this image though ) Well, the darned thing refused to let me take a picture of it(stupid reflections ), but you can see a scanned picture above. Pretty dark blue! Its just your typical polybag though. It comes about half full, which is pretty decent for a polybag. This is mostly because of the "cape box" though . The art however is pretty nice. I find it kinda funny how he stares straight at you His face just reads Like a boss! Instructions Idon;t have a picture for this either , but I found no mistakes and no difficulty telling the colors apart. Like telling grilled chicken from fried chicken! It has this nice white lining that makes color differentiation easy Parts Well when you open the bag, this is what you get. I even made the parts rectangle-thingy that everyone likes. I swear, just arranging that much parts in a rectangle was utterly grueling Not bad for a five-dollar set. Could be a good parts pack if you're building a super slope-ey vehicle or if you're collecting flick-fires missiles! Cause everyone does that, right? Minifigures Well heereeee's JohnnyBATMAN! Sorry for the smallish image as I have to resize the picture to fit the guidelines . As you can see the TDKR helmet fits a little bit too well on his head and the nose piece(?) nearly touches his mouth. In addition, the flesh parts underneath the white band on his forehead shows. Not cool, Lego. I can just picture some kid crying over the fact his Batman helmet doesn't fit Luckily, we can use our ninja-tistic genetically fried chicken-powered brain to. . . Push the helmet slightly up! With this tiny motion, you can fix this problem ! Oh and there's also an awesome torso print. The yellow print isn't that good, however, you can clearly see the black under it. Sorry for the blurry photo, by the way. The camera refuses to focus on the mask There's also back printing and a double sided face. I really love the shape of the new helmet from this angle. The angular structure is sooo much cooler . Accesories None . Not even a batarang or something. The Build Here's step 5. At step 10, it really starts looking sleek The finished jetski Its really sleek! Those fins are actually really hard to position so that they don't hit the missiles. By the way, ignore the grease on the hood. Lesson: don't play with Lego after eating fried chicken Extra pieces Really plentiful . More Views It looks really sleek in this photo but the missiles are really jutting from straight on From the back. There's a nice printed control panel! I'm not sure how Batman is supposed to reach it while driving though Yummy curves. Play Features! Its everyone's favorite... Flick fires Look how far they go! Conclusion: Parts: 8/10 Nice slopes but not really anything else. Build: 10/10 - Quick and engaging Design: 9/10 - Preety nice! Minifigures: 10/10 - Well, its Batman. 'Nuf said. Price: 8/10 - 13 cents per piece. Ehh. Batman though! Playability: 8/10 - Aside from the flick fires, there isn't really any official play feature, but. . .Its BATMAN! He's playable enough Overall:about 85% I'm too tired too officially calculate (11 around here on a Thursday), but it should be around this. Overall, great set. Marvel is still better though You heard nothing Bonus shots Batman and Soundwave. (Shameless self promotion of my hero for the Batman Minifig Customization Contest. VOTE FOR ME ) Batman: Too Cool for Avengers Well that's it. Remember kids, eat your fried chicken!

Astromech Workplace Contest - The 93rd Floor
friedchikenfairy replied to aescarion's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Wow This is just so win! It really looks like one of the bars for Coruscant's elite, and is really inverse to the dirty cantinas of Mos Eisley Good luck in the contest! -
Oh my! My brain hurts just by looking and trying to understand the tangle of wires in the pictures Really, though, this is seriously awesome. I would love to see this in real life

Well my name pretty much speaks for itself. I chose this name because I'm the fried chicken fairy! No seriously, I chose this username because I eat so much fried chicken, my friends dub me the 'fried chicken fairy'. That name kind of just stuck. Ever since then, all my usernames have fried chicken in them somewhere.

Dat stern. Seriously, though, your MOC is truly astounding. I love how you made the bow rounded. Ship-building is one of the things I've always wanted to do (even though I never manage to finish them due to lack of parts), and your MOC is one of those ships that remind me why I even bother in the first case. I hope to see more of your work soon
-
Wow. This is truly amazing, I really wish this was a real set. I love the chunky military aesthetic it has . I think you got too carried away with the missiles, in a good way . It just adds to overall aesthetic. The fact that the bottom of the cockpit also has a windshield just makes so much more awesome. However, the area on the top behind the cockpit is a little bit too flat in my opinion. I would like some interior shots though . Good job!

Wow Instantly recognizable. Nice to know that there are Halo fans in this forum! Your use of parts is very creative. I especially like how you made the knees and the two things (sorry I don't know what its called; I call them his suspender straps ) that run down his chest armor. The only things that I find slightly off is the position of his shoulders and the small biceps. I think a super space marine would be a little more cut than that Still, this is a brilliant MOC with ingenious use of parts. Have fun at the NSC event

Amazing!!! I LOVE the little details you put in, especially the greebles. That's more detailing than I see in a typical non- CHIBI AT-RT And that's just the tip of the iceberg. The way you made the helmet of the trooper is genius! I hope to see more from you soon After Googling you (yeah I'm one of those people who do that ) and finding your previous CHIBIs, I think I should call you CHIBI master

Pure genius. That Lantern is amazing. I love how all of these MOCs are simple, but effective. In a good way, of course

This is my fifth time visiting this topic and it still gives me the goosebumps Really, the MOC is beautifully built-I especially like the statue (it really is the icing on the cake )- and the presentation is flawless. The only thing that bothers me is a tidbit in the second to last photo. I have a wild temptation to reach into the computer screen and click the bricks together (unless that was intentional, in which case this post would be rather embarrassing for me ). Anyways, I really enjoyed the little story. I wonder if we'll see more of Tom... P.S. Sorry Penguin, but everyone knows chickens are cooler than penguins . Taste better too. Not that i tried penguin before ...
