This is one that I personally would like to see. I realise that it kind of requires some sort of theme which might not be manifest by Lego at the moment, but hey... here goes Part 1: - Part name: Modern/Steam Ship Bow and Stern Pieces - Part description: --> The same in dimension and purpose as the bow and stern pieces used to make the ships in the pirates and pirates of the caribbean sets (This One) but following the lines and contours of a modern ship/steam ship (Like This One) - Part usage: --> The pieces to build a classic galleon-style sailing ship exist in abundance, but it is incredibly difficult to build a more modern ship with the same efficiency, practicality, and pleasing aesthetics. At the moment modern ships are limited to having less than pleasing bows made from These or the really unversatile and not a little chunky floating hulls used in the lego city sets. A new pirate-style bow and stern for a modern steam ship would open up much more possibilities for building lego ships where currently the options are very limited. So yeah... ships =)

New Adventurers Set Ideas Thread
Saracen replied to Gregorovich's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I would love to see something set in India/the Himalayas... Can't think of a witty name though. And i think there is an urgent need for an airship. Needs to happen -
AT-RT Walker Contains 1 small, but properly built AT-RT walker. Like the one from the more recent clone turbo tank, but perhaps even better design. And 2 x ARF troopers w/ blasters. Preferably in camo, but you can't have everything. Maybe a piece of landscaping for good measure. ~$12-15 I think it would be a great set...

Hi all! I'm offering on eBay a custom-made Series III 109 British Army Land Rover complete with an ultra-rare minifigure with one of the new Endor Rebel torsos and a green Brickforge Beret (Denoting, in case you were wondering, that the little Lego squaddie is serving in the Royal Marines or the Rifles). Series Land Rovers were used in the British, Dutch, and Australian Armies (along with a lot more) from the early 1950s to the 1990s. They were the workhorse in Her Majesty's service in Northern Ireland, the Falklands, and Bosnia. It would make an excellent addition to any collection. It is made from brand new pieces, and with the exception of tubing used for the windscreen, none are modified. Included are one British soldier in DPM, a crate, shovel, and binoculars, as well as a few extra pieces which can be used to remove the windscreen, if one is so inclined. There is room in it for six minifigs, and it is a great base for further modifications. Honestly, I have to say it's pretty awesome. It will come disassembled, with printed directions from Lego Digital Designer. Also, 15% of profits will go to the Afghanistan Relief Organisation, so you don't need to feel guilty about buying it - it's for charity EBAY LINK

An ARF trooper... I can die happy Maybe it's my eyes, but does the picture of the ARF trooper in the lower left hand corner of the BP box look different than the one given above... I can't really tell b/c it's so small, but it looks sort of grey... almost multicam-ish. Does anyone else see that? Camo ARF troopers?

The folder's not public yet. If you click on the picture on the brickshelf page it'll give you just the image as a link, which you can post/link to while the folder becomes public. It sounds cool, though... peace

Hehe... Thanks. I realised that the Brickshelf folder wasn't public, so, in case your curious, here's what the Mark VII looks like, in Dark Grey (and in LDD). Some of the methods I used LDD doesn't think are valid, which is why there are random pieces lying about

OK, the Churchill Tank is by far, in my humble opinion, the coolest tank in WWII, and I have always been highly disappointed that there weren't more lego Churchills in existence. So I decided to make one. As you might be able to see, it is heavily inspired by Mechanised Brick's Churchill MkVII, although it is structurally different and, from a not unbiased veiwpoint, may I say that I like mine better. As you can see, it is still a WIP and, eventually once I'm satisfied I might build it in Dark Bluish Grey, which would be cool. I would also really appreciate suggestions (especially detail, 'do X using Y method'), especially for the MkIII turret which I'm only kind of satisfied with. There are two different turrets - the orangey picture is the newer one, which is slightly more accurate The MkIII is an AVRE - a Royal Engineer tank with a large mortar and wading equipment. Brickshelf Gallery [EDIT] Resized - Sorry it was so big... =/

Here goes - I made a small scene consisting of a British Army Land Rover carrying a snatch squad, a Land Rover FFR (Fitted For Radio) and a 109 Ambulance at a small riot. It is based off of the Irish Troubles. Land Rovers were used extensively throughout Op Banner from the 1970's to the 1990's. It's made using LDD Universe. Picture 2 Picture 3 And the Brickshelf Gallery, including .LXF file I'm not sure about the quality of these pictures, but whatever. Also, I have a confession. The sand green torsos used by the squaddies don't actually exist. I'm using them as a stand in for a different torso (either the Endor Rebels or a Harry Potter jumper). I'm not sure if this is pukka, so if it's not, just tell me and I'll change it. [EDIT] I finally managed to calculate the piece count and found that my original was many hundreds of pieces short of the limit, so I decided to spice it up a bit and added another vehicle a memorial and a small industrial building.

Not gonna lie, my favourite is the CTT. I'm not sure how to put it, but it looks really well design. Realistic, but still lego-y. Not sure about the figures, though. I hate it when they overload the sets with characters and put in only one or two clones. It really grabs my goat. However, my greatest hope is that the clone on the walker is an ARF trooper. I would cry with joy.

Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)
Saracen replied to der seb's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Now I'm no trainspotter, but to me this looks a LOT like the new old steam engine, the Tornado, that rail enthusiasts in Britain built. I'm not sure if this adds or detracts from credibility, but it would makes sense as some sort of commemorative set, seeing as the Tornado is the first steam engine to be built in the UK in fifty years. Here's hoping! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7876162.stm- 559 replies

1. Clone Recon 1. Clone Recon Scout (Phase I) http://www.clone-empire.com/forums/index.p...=1484&st=20 2. A Phase II Clone Swamp (BARC) trooper with a new helmet, not just an old scout one in sand green, which really annoys me. 3. Clone commanders . (All of them) 4. Padme 5. More specialised clones (Airborne, Marines, BARC, etc) I can't think of ten, if those are made, I'll be happy...

Eurobricks Clone Wars Building Contest
Saracen replied to Clonecommando007's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Saleucami Patrol Late in the clone wars the Siege of Saleucami finally ends in a republic victory. Patrols of clones are sent out into the arid and inhospitable world in search of resistance from CIS supporters. Torn by war, Saleucami is still covered in the corpses of clones and droids who fell during the siege. I tried mucking about with it on Adobe, but I'm not sure if I made it better or worse -
