  1. Your story is very interesting (I just read through the whole thing!) and is providing me with motivation to work on my MOC skills so that I can eventually do something like this. I would love to be able to capture scenes from my novel-in-progress in Lego! Keep up the excellent work and I look forward to seeing the next chapter! ^.^
  2. Thanks for the ideas! I'll have to see if I can find any of those Fabuland foxes. And I'll need to check to see if my netbook can handle Lego Digital Designer, but that's a good idea.
  3. I hope it's not too late to ask to join... ^.^; If it isn't, then here is my sigfig: Wymond the Fox is shown here during a brief reprieve between one of his many excursions into the Mitgardian wilds. He prefers stealth and cunning to battle, though he can stand his own in a fight if the need arises. He is now coming forward to pledge his allegiance to Jarl Nibelung and Mitgardia. ((ooc: until I go back to the States for the summer I won't be able to build much, but I'll do my best to contribute very small free-builds...))
  4. Hello! ^.^ I stumbled across this site after looking up tips on how to construct a Lego medieval village. I'm hoping to use Lego to help me visualize scenes from the stories bounding around inside me. I've been playing with Lego since the early-mid '90s, though college put a brief hold on that. (sadly it was during the time when they came out with the fantasy era castle line, so I've had to do some hunting for dwarves...) My Lego collection is actually split between three places (in two countries): South Korea (where I have been teaching), Oregon, and Washington. Seeing as I will probably be gallivanting and adventuring for at least a few more years, I won't be able to fully utilize my collection. But at least I can get a start on using Lego to visualize my stories! I look forward to learning a lot about creating medieval MOCs and seeing all the amazing work others have done. Now to figure out how to represent with Lego the anthropomorphic foxes that show up in a couple stories...
