  1. when i was looking through this MOC, i just kept looking at my BSB that is placed safely at a shelf, and you did really capture the essence of original one, i specialy like the cabin, where the lower part looks like the original, and your cabin is in two sections, which is really good, i like it, because it reminds so much of the original, but yet its bugger and everything (i wont/cant say better, because i love the original alot) and BTW, most people have alot of trouble just to collect one, how did you get your hands at two of thoose???? (unless you paid a huge amount of money) as i said great ship, but, i would like to see it be extended by atleast 2 mid sections, and then make the yellow slopes that goes from the cabin to the main deck, in 1x3 and not 1x2 i think it would be alot better that way, or you can do as the original, and make some holds along the way down, else, nice ship,
  2. Well its primary hi's idea yes, and half his methode yes, rest is mine, hatches and the complexity of the whole thing, thats mine to, i just made hi's system more compact, and made it fit into a ship, and thank you,
  3. i love all the splash effects they made, forexample, the shark emerging from the water, and all the other seamonsters, who does the same, its amasing, and all the ships, that looks like eachother, like a real fleet, brilliant,
  4. and it was the plan the whole time to make it do that effect, it wasent easy but i worked it out, i do have to mention that, the effect reaches its climax, when the battaries are nearly dead, then they go up one by one nice and slowly,
  5. yea alot of people told me that actualy hehe, but theres one problem, they wouldnt have anywhere to party at, (the only "fail" this moc has, is the lack of interior, which had to be sacrificed for the electronic brain,
  6. and when a beautiful design isnt enough, then you can start put some very very advanced mechanic feathures in it, as i did, in my Golden Whale, i have RC cannons and hatches, and RC light, in a rather large beautiful ship,
  7. [pid][/pid] 137A This is the first version of the project, back when it was just a WIP and look how nice it turned out, First ship ever, with remote controlled cannons and hatches, It was a very fun project to make, alot of blood sweat and money, but its all worth it. And i did achive some personal goals, that i always wanted to make, here is some of them, First Person in the world to make the remote controlled system :Check Make riggins attach at outside of the railing at small platforms, (just like real ships):Check Make railing in diffrent hight levels :Check Make the Deck in diffrent hight levels :Check Make a bending bow: Check Make light in the cabin :Check Make cabin windows in transparrent bricks: Check Make most of the railing in transparrent bricks, (which creates a Glowing effect, like shown at the first picture) :Check And if you can figure just how many transparrent green and yellow bricks i've used, then you can tell me, cause I dont have a clue. Some credit has to go to Sebeus I, who did inspire me with he's version of the RC cannons, (But that was only a WIP, that he couldnt make fit into a ship, entirely, So ive used he's idea, made it more compact, made it fit into an actual ship, And I also gave it hatches. Never the less he deserves some credit, Enjoy and leave me your comment, at this amazing vessel, Above is a video, that reveals the Secrets of this vessel, And belove is alot of images, this is the ship without gears, This is the first version of the project, back when it was just a WIP and look how nice it turned out, more images is found at my Mocpages account Enjoy, and leave your comment,
  8. depends at the person, but i get your point, when building a castle, you can add so many baseplates you want, and mage a enormus enviroment, and wide castles, ships arent that way, when you have build the hull, you have to stick to it, you cant just add something along the way, (atleast not without demolishing most of what you've already build) i build in diffent themes, but mostly ships, the whole challence with a ship, is that you have to stuff so much as you can into it, without its looking odd, it has to look elegant, and smooth, so yes, i think its harder to build a ship than a castle, because of the restricted base, i know you can build your own hull, but you still have no more room than that,
  9. this thing just need one more little final detail, MINIFIGS!!!!!!!, besides that, its really good
  10. this is a big one, i like the use of all the darkbown parts, its a nice color, i really like the curved towers at the cabin, it looks really nice, and i love firepower, and especialy when you have that many real lego cannon fitted into a ship, this thing just need some sails, and then its all ready to go, awesome job
  11. thats the whole point with this ship, its something you will always could remember, because its one of a kind, and thanks
  12. ive tried to find a way to make it fire, i did even dismantle a cannon, to put some sort of device of my own at the end insted of the lego bottom, BUT, its not doable, there is 2 bars that cross'es the mid section, so i tried with springs insted, it did almost work, but still, ALMOST, but i hope i/you will figure it out someday,
  13. thanks for posting my ship , i had thought about posting it in here myself, but thanks anyways
  14. if you did add a costum hull to this one, (and dont use the Lego BP hull) your own squary hull, then this would be really awesome, because now, it looks like its two tiffrent ships mixed together,
  15. Now the ship is finished and its working i will post it soon in here, but i did kinda demolish half of it becasue i didnt liked it, so after ive been remakieing it, i will post it
  16. i was in a pirate latout together with brian, i did bring along two ships, and he did bring along he's enormus fortress, i spend a whole weekend starring at that thing, and everytime i found something new, trust me, its even better up close,
  17. i dont even dare to take mine apart, but nice job though
  18. as usualy, you are realiseing some ideas alot of us has been thinking of, but ive already got an idea how to get it back in place, you will simply just have to take the same technic that you did use in your motorized cannon slide system, (just the ://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=41677 adn then you use it to slide it into the spring, when the little liftarm rotates beneath the cannon, the spring will launch it forwards, and by then the little liftarm, will slide the cannon into the spring again, (but i think you will have to chance it to a spring absorber insted, this one, FX http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=731c05, i hope it makes sense to you,
  19. well, I thought about doing that, BUT, the whole point is to make it remote controlled because its way more cool (but trust me the engine can barely keep it up, today i've just layed some last finish upon it, (or the mechanical unit) and it looks really nice, in a couple of days i will post my progress Im getting my PF remote with speed regulator tomorrow
  20. Thanks, i tried to avoid useing the gears, but i didnt had any other choice, but still, its a nice system,
  21. Welcome aboard,

  22. super awesome ship, i love the color sceme and the studless design
  23. you have to work the sides so that they dont look so flat and borring, and you have to make it go smooth from the deck to the top of the cabin, but its nice that you made intinior
  24. i think there is only one word to descripe this, and its, PERFECT
  25. you are diffently gonna win that catagorie, this is truely amazing
