  1. Yeah, obvious why. I am looking for full tusken raiders, or just heads. Or bodies. They dont have to include the rifle but if you have it, then great! I also need the legs, tan legs with a gray waist. Have: cannon battle stone chopper stormies EpI anakin EpII obi wan Green goblin Lots of other parts, just ask. I have lots of rare parts. I really need them so if you have any.... Please PM me! Located in US, will ship worldwide.
  2. I use brickshelf when my upload count is high on Flickr. I'm not so happy with the limit there but it is simple to do, and you can edit and resize pics on the site. Brickshelf is good since there is more space but it is a bit primitive.
  3. I'm also suspicious of you too, Sarge. Maybe you are using the gruff and tough way to push us off the trail? You seem so defensive over everything, why dont you give us a good reason why you keep your helmet on? Who knows who you may be under there? And what makes it safer? So no one knows who does anything? So you can be safer?
  4. Cool review! I really like all the rare parts here whic is to me what most of the indy sets are like. There isnt too much depth to the set but who cares? It has a tan barrel.
  5. Happy birthday! I remember when you were here. You were a fun admin
  6. Exactly the same! We need some post-apoc sets that are really gritty.
  7. Maybe I will, maybe I wont. ...Sorrry.
  8. Actually, I'm looking to retake them since they were taken at night and are a tad blury. Here is an example of natural daylight and macro- And one with a light, you can see it is yellowed- edit: Get that huge thing out of your sig!
  9. Poor spiderman... Nice wampa. I like how you made use of the various parts to make this. I was expecting a larger moc like the wampas cave, it would be cool if you made that.
  10. I think it is nice that he is dong this but my old one reflects nothing, no creativity or anything. I hate to ssay this, but I would rather have no sig fig there if it isnt my current. My current sig-fig is here to stay like a normal sig-fig should. Isnt that the whole point of a sig-fig? I dont think it is a fig that you like rather something that should represent you.
  11. This might be better in community. I when taking my lego shots take poster board, set it up and use macro with no flash. I dont have a florescant light so I take the pics when it is bright out.
  12. I know that. However, when this whole thing started I had a different sig fig. I dont use him anymore. Stash2sixx hasnt told me which one he is using.
  13. I wouldnt worry about it. If you eventually get one you will see how fun it is.
  14. Do you have my current sig fig? I'm not sure if stashy has mine.
  15. Hows the site coming?
  16. Maybe this time I want to win 2nd place assuming the winner doesnt want the stormie. I already have obi wan and if I got this I would remove the keychain.
  17. I could of bought all the large batman sets at TK max for 20... Now there worth hundreds
  18. I agree. I had the granite grinder and enjoyed it more as well. If this set was less technic based it could have been better.
  19. The Stone Chopper is part of the new and so far successful power miner line. The theme originally was thought to bad and full of technic. We all thought of the worst. But now we can see that more than a few people have changed their minds!. This is the smallest of the Power Miners theme. So do you think this set is any good? Lets find out! Name: 8956 Stone Chopper Parts: 31 Minifigures:2 Price: US. 5.99, UK. 3.89, EUR 4.39 Year Released: 2009 S@H Bricklink Peeron S@H- "When the Power Miners are in a jam, they send out the Stone Chopper! This tough excavation cycle packs some serious speed and mining power, thanks to its twin rock-cutting saws that automatically spin as it rolls. Features saw bike with fierce spinning saw blade wheels! Includes miner and rock monster! Combine with #8957 Mine Mech to build the Cave Cutter!" On to the review! Box- The new box art for the power miners is really nice! The dirty and industrial theme works well. When I went to the store to buy this, it was the first thing that caught my eye! Minifigures- These are great minifigs. The rock monster is fun, you can stick things in his belly. Backs The minifigs in this set are really nice. The printing on him is very detailed. The rock monster is a fun little gimmick. The miner has a double head, one normal, one scared- The parts- A decent selection, there are some newly colored elements here. Some highlights would be the orange blades. The build- Part one-The chasis- Two- Three- Finished shots- Some nice stickers in the front, great detail there. There are really fun parts to this set. It rolls along well, perfect for running over other minfigs! Ratings: Design7/10 It works well as an industrial motorcycle and I feel the main problem are the holes on the frame. Parts: 6/10 There is a nice assortment, but there are too many technic bits in a small system set. Price: 8/10 For $5.99 you are getting a nice model with great minifigs, but there are only 31 pieces, they should of had more accessories like the dynamite. Playability: 9/10 Certainly fun to wheel around and fight the rock monster but it is limited to that. Overall 7.5/10 A very good little set that is easy to build and very appealing to most. This a good example of what the theme is like, a nice mix of technic and system and the color scheme of lime green and orange parts. I would definitely suggest for anyone to buy this set. Its inexpensive, fun, and a good way to sample the theme! And one for fun-
  20. This nifty set is part of the new line of pirate sets. These sets were very much anticipated from almost all LEGO communities; we all were so excited to have the pirates line back. I for one was happy. I got many of the old pirate sets. But does this shape up to the incredible predecessor? Let's go see! Name: 6239 Cannon Battle Parts: 45 Theme Pirates II Minifigs:2 Price: US. 5.99, UK. 3.89, EUR 4.39 Year Released: 2009 S@H Peeron Brickset S@H quote- Box Art- The new pirate boxes are really nice and creative. All the parts- A nice selection with bright colors, very eye catching. The Minifigs: The selection of minifigs in the set is really great! I really like the double sided torso since they add a good level of detail. Just a note- I lost the head it came with so I put my own similar one on. I was just planning on reviewing this set then I couldn't find the head! I panicked and just used this one. My pirate is a dumb one now. Great detail here... I love the pouch design. The Set: First, let's start with the rock. It starts off with a base and plants- And then we add some breakable rocks- Disappointed with the pearl part, a bit out of place. This piece is way too common. And were done with that. And now the cannon The main base A little more- Very solid and colorful, I really like the red and brown color. And its finished! It sure looks like a cannon. A nice feature would be the holders for items. The cannon shoot quite far. I don't shoot it that often but when I do, it is a really hard task to find the bullet. The whole set together- Lots of fun! I would have tons of fun with this if the rock wouldn't stop breaking! Thoughts and ratings: Price: 9/10- For a set like this it is a fine price, you get good figures and accessories. Typical of a 5.99 set. Build: 7/10- The build is alright, very solid but there are some typical and overused techniques used all over. The cannon is nice with the red parts. Parts: 9/10- This set comes with many extras, such as epaulets, rapiers, guns and a guns. There is no lack of good parts here. I am really happy with the inclusion of a rifles and epaulets. Minifigs: 8/10- I would give them more points, but I feel that these are very typical minifigs and don't show too much creativity on LEGO's part. I feel that they are great figures for an army, but still were just missing that extra zest to make them perfect. Compared to the classic pirates, they are very detail and precise. The older pirates were a tad more original facially in my opinion. Overall: 8.25/10- This a really great set. It has many valuable things in it. It offers fun playability for the kids with the firing cannon. For some, it is a magnificent army builder for your pirates and soldiers. Or for those like me, it is good for someone who wants to get a nice taste of pirates with out paying a lot of cash. While it may of lacked a bit on the build, it certainly made up for it on the fun factor!
  21. Indexed With the new release of the city farm sets, an exclusive promotional remake of an old set has been dished out in certain locations in Europe and other areas. This hard to find and exclusive set may sound promising, but is it? Lets find out! Set: 4899 Tractor Theme: Farm/City Minifigs: 1 Parts: 24 Price Not sure, I got it in a trade. Year: 2009 Brickset S@H N/A Peeron N/A Bricklink Bag: This polybag is medium sized has is full of autumn and spring colors. It certainly was a real thrill to take out of the shipping box! Instructions: Simple and basic, I'm sure these were designed with young children in mind. The back side has a picture of some farm sets. This set really is a sample of the theme. Man, if only I had that many yellow light saver blades... Minifigs: This set comes with one minfig. It is decent, but the real deal is the tan fedora! This part also comes in the big farm set so that makes it a bit rare. Wait a minute, is that Pepper-roni? What's he doing as a farmer? Back No back printing like many of the 2009 minifigs. The piece is old, but back printing would have been nice. Set: Here is the selection of parts. Nothing too special, but this is a promo so I didn't expect much. There a lot of small parts here. The three colors of fedoras together (black one was painted) I painted it for my upcoming Synagogue MOC and I need that for the Rabbi. The build Start off with a little frame. Nothing to hard to build here. The front is taking some shape. Great use of the curved part here! Add a chair and a wheel. The yellow works well. We can really start to see the tractor take shape! Finished product: This little tractor is sleek(for a tractor) and a nicely detailed. It has a lever and a steering wheel so for once a little set has controls! Extra bits: Mine came with many extra parts, actually much more than most small sets! I was very suprised to see the wheel! Ratings Build:7/10 Simple and clean, for a miniature tractor, the small scale works well. The selection of parts was okay, if it was dark green I would give it a higher score. When I first saw this set I thought that it was darker so it was a let down to see the bright green. Minifigs: 9/10 A farmer minifig! Who would have known? Well the fig is fine but its hat is fun and useful. Don't you just love fedoras? And why is Pepper-roni being a farmer? Isn't he a skateboarder? Price: N/A I think this was just a promo and I traded for this so I am unaware of the price if there was one. Who knows, maybe it was free? Overall:8/10 A fun and rare set that is a great promo and would have made a good impulse. While not everybody would want the tractor, as it is plain, the minifig is good for the city theme. Now we can all go and make more western MOCs and so much more. This set really has fun to it. Parting: Someone killed Pepper... who did it?
  22. I could see a new Dino attack. It would be awesome if it is like dino attack 3000 and there are cybernetic dinos that are not so crappy built.
  23. It just so happened to accidentally work with KimT.
  24. Absolutely outstanding. You've outdone yourself again. That trans clear thing is really spooky and well built. Reminds me of a jelly fish. That helmet is actually a great idea, I might try it sometime. Burby is also really cool, it looks like a tv show character. I love how you made it look so organic.
  25. I destroyed my ankle when ice skating (fracture) and I split my chin in half at the same time... and the zambonie almost ran me over. Stupid people. Also, once I was riding my bike and I braked, then flew off it to have my knee meet the pavement. Two years and I still cant feel it.
