Just came back from the lego store, with a River Heist in hand. Great set, but a little bit disappointing in some places. The figs are some of the best I've seen.

I went to a store today, and saw this. It was pretty pathetic if you ask me, very little to chose from. Here is what they had- Heads- the common smirk one, smile with glasses Torsos- plaid shirt, police man, construction worker legs- orange, black hats- brown regular hair, knit hat gear- broom, ax, nozzle, golden gun (just kidding) Not worth ten dollars, but many kids were crowding around it and their mothers were convinced that this is 'the coolest ever' by their gawking kids. If only they knew of Bricklink... And I also missed the sale on the Rouge Shadow by a day, really pissed about that.

he said it arrived so I assume he ordered it. I think only the visible parts are chromed because it is intended as a magnet, and who plays with the those? I think I will use the chrom parts in a moc, I would love for the business tusken to have chrome pants.

I just saw Spiderman 3 on Dvd. I don't get what people don't like about it, I think its a great movie. Maybe even better than 2.

Whatever man. For me, it was hard to tell what the overall set was like from that pic, I thought that those rocks under the plates on the bottom were the old piraka rock base plates, which I think would give it some depth. I looked, but I just didn't see the overall set. Who knows, maybe I'm going blind. *straps belt at Oky, misses and gets him in the groin*

i haven't found too many problems with my grays, except for very off dark light blueish gray bracket. One part that has the least color control for me is lime, I have so many 1x4s and they all look different in someway.

Whats the difference between a small thumbnail to a large photo? The details that you can't see before. From the small scan, the base looked quite good, and pretty solid. Now I see it is not so great. Sometimes first impressions aren't always the final result. And you need to watch your tone young man! *takes out belt*

Check out my sigfig. Its from Lucious Malfoy, and appears in three sets. Nockturn's alley, Dobbys release, and promo biplane. Its a fairly uncommon, don't ask me how I got it.

I still am strong with what I think. I think the set looks quite empty, and it could have at least come with a more impressive vehicle. There are aspects to like, but there are many to dislike. If you look back at the old rock raider base, that is an example of a functional base. Everything is connected, parts aren't slapped all over the place... it was solid. I think it needs a third tower, and then perhaps it would be better.

I think it will be sold out before the end of the day. Most likely they are cleaning the warehouses. This should be in the BSTf forum, just a heads up.

You bring some great points to the table. I am unsure why I didn't go further with the legs and back. The support between the waist and legs is very fragile, so I think I just wanted to get the legs over with, which is something that next time I will improve on. The overall body is very solid (the back) its just plain. I could do some back armor on it, but we'll leave that to the next time I build I mech. Next ups a tank, or something along that line. It will follow this ones color scheme too.
