Here is my contribution for Lego LOTR 1.I have to debate the exclusive fig being Gandalf it is more probable to be saruman.He is only in isengard or the orc forge now unless they make Isengard we will miss out on him but Gandalf is in Minas Tirith and other scenes,it is easy to mix them up. 2.The next Lotr wave may be in January or the Hobbit might count for that. Also it probably will get a Gondor set, Osigiliath seems easier to make. 3.The barrels set will probably be the exclusive set and will probably include the 2 dwarves we saw at SDCC that were not in BAGEND 4.Set prices 79000 Mystery of the Ring will be similar to Gandalf arrives Gollum and Bilbo 12.99USD Warg attack Same price as weathertop probably including 2 Wargs and gandalf 79001 Fleeing from the Mirkwood Spiders 30 USD includes Bilbo and spiders. 79010 The Orc King Orc King Bilbo Baggins Gandalf the Grey 100USD/140 AUD Barrels set 2 dwarves Bilbo and elf guards 60 USD Note most of this is confirmed but the figs for the spider set and the barrel sets are guesses I think that all Hobbit sets will have the same price points as LOTR sets and have the same minifig amounts.

I will definitely build 1 Mumakil of HARAD.

Me either I will start soon I am thinking of making level 1 of Minas Tirith I will build one then maybe BL a elephant . I will make the side bits of helms deep larger! To make it like the city and the Uruk armour for Gondor soldiers

Basically how should I portray it. I hope to display this at an upcoming convention. Big over 150 minifigs+ Of course I will. I plan to BL some Elephants and then turn them into Oliphaunts

I have 2 Uruk hai sets and 1 helms deep 1 mines of moria and 1 gandalf arrives. I am thinking of having 3 oliphaunts and having the first level of Minas tirith and the battle. Then I will eventually extend it. 21/4/13 UPDATE Here is Gondor! EDIT 4/4/13 I have obviously come a long way since then and here is the video!! We plan on doing a major expansion in June once LUGBULK​ we get extra pieces! This is just the start we also have another 30 GOndorians and about another 20 Mordor orcs but we got them a few days ago.Please tell us what you think, what needs more work what needs less. ANd how many cave trolls do I need I have 4. The total minifig count is at about 170 figs for the layout and counting! update .Watch this too see gondor in its glory!!!

I completed the siege of Helms deep game and I unlocked some of the other pictures if you complete helms deep enough times you will see Elronds picture.

Apart from Bag end all the others are speculation! Although Wargs would be great I play LOTR Strategy battle game except with Lego it is great! Try it.

I have 11 Uruk hai,1 Berserker Uruk Hai,1 Cave Troll,2 Moria Goblins. TO gaet the biggest armies you must muy Uruk hai army.

To LOTR Australian Lego fans, I have another thing Myer has 20 percent off all Lego and Big W has 25% Helms Deep. Toys R Us has it for 199$ but Big W has it not on special for 174$. The orc forge is 64$ and Uruk Hai set is 48$

I have never read or seen any of the books or movies about 10 days ago, I saw how awesome it was and then began reading the books and seeing bits of the movie. I bought Uruk hai army and soon I will buy Helms deep and other sets to make an awesome MOC. I have to say that Lego did an awesome job copying the movie, I saw the set and then after watching it I can see where Lego got their inspiration. For the price it is awesome and if you buy it and a few uruk hai sets you will have the best battle. I also recommend buying elves from CMF series 3. At fist I thought it was a fantasy castle and gave it a "Lower than a Balrog" but now I realise what a great set it is and I am now a LOTR nut. I will change my vote.

I have 9516 and am modding it so there is a pit do you know where I can find a rancor instruction guide to build one.

Kings carriage ambush for 35 AUD basically in Australia that is peanuts because it is normally 60 they had it so cheap because it was the last one.

Bought 9496 Skiff and tried to find 9516, I found 1 just as they were closing but they would not let me buy it as it was 1 past 9. I went 20 hours later and all the new sets were gone. They said they would be in on Thursday. I cannot wait that long, I have been waiting for so long for it.

Well as far as Australians are concerned Toys R us is having them early because the German toys R Us is distributing it to all the other ones. Also 9516 goes for 199.99AUD, Desert Skiff 49.99 I bought one! Yavin 4 planet 15.99 AUD and Uruk Hai Army 59.99 AUD. I will post as I see more. Well for once Australia gets them early!

But in January Australia gets them at least 14 days late. This year I was privileged to find a shop that sold them and then for 3 weeks I never found them.

Toys r us are slowly putting out their sets in Australia.

I have spent hours looking for these sets and they are in Australia at Toys r us. Jabbas palace and the skiff and the planet sets. I do not know if it was a fluke but there was 1 9516 hidden at the back of a shelf and 4 Skiffs in a hard to find place.
