  1. There may be two in one week, but I don't think that hurts either of their chances. LEGO probably has had enough foresight to have thought about what they are getting into. The next project in line to hit 10,000 besides BTTF is the Modular Western Town! I wonder how LEGO will pull that one off as a set...
  2. Thanks both of you! I have now decided on a guild and will be joining very soon. Thanks for the help!
  3. Go for it! It can't hurt to give it a shot. Post a link here when your done so I can check it out! I am expecting the rifter to hit 10,000 this week. It's a good design, but I know nothing about EVE so I don't have much to say on it. It seems to have been given a huge push by the game company itself. The one thing about CUUSOO is that it almost no original IP can get through the system. Almost all the big projects have some huge liscence backing them.
  4. Thank you! I just wanted to make sure that I would not be restricted due to what guild I joined. I am glad that you are allowed to build whatever you like regardless of guild. Thanks for the help.
  5. I would like to join one of the guilds. I feel very limited in my choices though due to parts colors. Would I be able to build a certain scene regardless of guild? For example, if I wanted to build a desert when I was in Mitgardia's guild or Nocturnus. Thanks for your time everyone! ~reptiman
  6. Thank you for the kind words! The spines were a fun detail that I wanted to add to the tail. I am glad you enjoyed the MOC. I wanted to give him the look of a active predator. I think I did a pretty good job giving it that look. I stumbled upon a good design for the wings while I was messing around with some plates. Thanks for checking out the MOC!
  7. I originally made this for a CUUSOO project of mine. Let me know what you think of the MOC! Any criticism to help me improve would be wonderful. The Cave Hunter by reptiman1, on Flickr The Cave Hunter by reptiman1, on Flickr The Cave Hunter by reptiman1, on Flickr Here is a little bio for him: The Cave Hunter is a formidable predator. Everything about them is designed for brutal efficiency. They love to hunt and will eat anything they find. They are only ever found outside their caves when thay are hunting for prey or basking in the sun. With powerful and fast legs they prefer to chase down their prey and then deliver a fatal blow by chomping down on them. They then carry their prey to their lair. They are very solitary creatures that when born are left to fend for themselves. They then go off and carve out a cave with their feet and enlarged claws on their wings. This cave then becomes their permanent home and they will use it for the rest of their lives. Enjoy the MOC!
  8. Those shots look amazing! I have to say LEGO's quality for video games seems to be improving in general. I can't remember the last time I was this hyped for a LEGO game!
  9. This looks like an exact replica of the compound! The T-rex is great also, but the other Dinos look odd at this scale. There is nothing you can really do about that though. Great job on the MOC!
  10. Pretty cool MOC! I like how the body (appears) to be on a swivel plate giving it more articulation. One thing I think you could change is the legs though. Something does not look right about it. The body however, is wonderful along with the arms. Very articulated and cool looking MOC!
  11. Thanks for the warm welcome Alasdair! I am going to enjoy finally participating in the forums and community.
  12. It looks pretty legit to me. I do agree with being skeptical though. If those are the real figures TLG has outdone themselves. Did the figure come with any of the new orc weapons and armor Durins Bane?
  13. Thanks Gory! Nice to meet you. I look forward to seeing you on the forums!
  14. Your probably right. That has been the recent trend lately for creatures. I personally prefer brick-built, but the new molds have been great lately. Either way I will end up enjoying it anyway as long as it's poseable and accurate.
  15. Thanks for the warm welcome! My first MOC will probably be up fairly soon. Thanks again.
  16. I love all these new molds in the line. That new horse will be very useful for my MOCs. The new helmets, armor, and weapons for the orcs are amazing also. I can't remember the last time I got this excited for a line. As for the fell beast, I am near positive LEGO will make one. It had plenty of screen time so I see it likely happening. What will be more interesting for me is if they are going to make them brick-built or molded like the Dino sets.
  17. Well I finally signed up to Eurobricks. I have lurked here for about two years now and finally decided to join. I hope to share some MOCs and possibly some reviews soon. I'm looking forward to going around the forums and being a part of the community. ~reptiman
