  1. HA HA. Thats just too funny, and clever. I'm liking your work. Thanks for the laugh.
  2. "Caelum, non animum, mutant, qui trans mare currunt." :'-) It translates as "Those who run off to sea change their climate but not their mind." Basically your troubles will follow you.
  3. Very nice vig. If nice is the right word. :'-( Love the cannon and the gore, Hmmmm I will have to have a go.
  4. Have just updated and I think finalised my entry, loads more pics to see and a link to the flickr set of my creation. Also I have removed my remark which offended casewindu. :-$
  5. I voted for Khorne, as its the only set that made me think wow, thats great, when I first saw it. With Tinypiesrus a close second. *sweet*
  6. I'm fine and settled. *sweet* . I apologised for any offense that may have taken place. Hmmm still no comments on my beast, perhaps I should re-build? >:-)
  7. Sorry If I offended you, but . . . .as you will be well aware, Liverpool has the highest car crime in Europe, was a little joke but backed up by fact.. I never implied anyone from Liverpool was scum, you said that not me. And its LegoLyons. *sweet* It would of been nice if you had commented on my work too. Sorry again.
  8. Well my entry is posted, but it may change a little over the coming days, as I am awaiting some bits to arrive and I may add a few stickers and change the drivers torso. Let me know what you think. She is a beast!!!! *knight*
  9. V-LV-20E Heres my entry. UPDATED since yesterday. "Diesil Destroyer" The biggest Hot-Rod in the West. (of England!) V8 420bhp beast, with neon underlights, air cooled engine, and tyres the size of a house. It also comes with a super power chip in the bonnet/hood that is easily remove to stop the "Destroyer" from being stolen! (this is handy if you visit any city with HIGH car crime.!) To view the whole set of images please visit: Flickr page for my Hot-rod "Diesil Destroyer". Also much much larger images. Main Image Front view Rear View Please comment and give me your views. Good luck to everybody who enters. :'-)
  10. Cool. Love the use of the hand for the ripped off leg, very good, i may nick that idea. *wacko*
  11. Its gotta be a tramp/hobo/pikie type figure. Just like KhoRne's one in the impulse contest. Failing that a vicar.
  12. I'd like to play, but have never seen anything like this before. So I have no idea what I am letting myself into. :-$
  13. These are all really cool ideas, and fit perfectly into your scenes. Good Work.
  14. Hmmm I'm enjoying building my first ever car (since I was a kid!) , for the Hot Rod comp. But thats not really a theme. I love the Ninja theme, and nearly have my complete set of the figures, including 2 White Princesses! *sweet* I'm trying to come up with a little scene involving all the figures, maybe in a jungle battle?? I also love the Pirate theme and have just purchased some parts to start on my first ship. I just love all of LEGO, except maybe the Space theme.
  15. Neat little ship and the photography and scene is simple and effective. Nice work.
  16. Looks like a nice creation, I just wish that the photography was a little better, all that hard work and then blurry pics. I am really liking the steampunk stuff posted lately.
  17. Brilliant, very original and funny. Love the way the snow looks and the sled's are so simple yet brilliant. I love the rest of your work too. Genius.
  18. Nice. Now if only you could do the rest of Gotham to put this in!!! Love the whole look of the building, especially the roof part. Thanks for sharing. *sweet*
  19. Your stuff amazes me, so clean and shiny, and your minifigs are always just perfect. Keep up the GREAT work! *sweet*
  20. Simple, but awesome. Love the scene and just the simplicity of it all. Nice work.
  21. Nice work. Well done on collecting so many skellies! Love the night shot, it adds to the atmosphere. You should try putting some tea-light candles behind the structures and photographing it that way. Great stuff.
  22. I agree. But at least he admitted it, I bet a few vote for themselves and DO NOT admit it. But it does not say in the rules that you cannot vote for yourself, but honor should prevent you from doing so.
  23. What a great contest, to enter and to see every one elses entries. Well done all, and thanks to Sinner and Imperialshadows for the organisiation etc. The votes from the Lyons jury: CITY & SPACE: KhoRne: Brilliant idea, nice choice of pieces, humour and colourful, what more can you ask for, my favourite entry by far. HISTORY, ADVENTURE & PIRATES: Xwingyoda: How else am I going to get one of them buxom islanders minifigs? Nice idea, and simple, could be aded to many a pirate scene. LICENSED: Tinypiesrus. Perfect little set, great minifig, weapon and it's just like the movie cart. Brilliant. Thanks for those who have voted for me. Hmmm thats funny as that was the basis for my idea. I hjeard the song and thought, Ahhhh theres an idea!!I have enjoyed taking part.
