Yes, we start to have quite a few but it is just a start I hope! Here is the last one I built myself. We might see some more Star Wars sets modeled soon as I bought recently a few to make the parts. Helmets took me a long time to make tho . 75000 - Clone Troopers vs. Droidekas - Theme: Star Wars Link: 75000-1-clone-troopers-vs-droidekas -

I might actually think about an option for multiple users to work on a model by turn. For now, you can reuse the model of others, but not save on the top of it. It creates another model that you would need to make public for others to keep working on. All the public models appear in the gallery. The result for now is that the gallery would be sort of polluted with a lot of unfinished version of the same model. -

Yes I totally agree with you but by default you can't add images in this kind of standard dropdown list. I would need to design mine and code it (which i might do one day). -

Sounds like LDD . For now, the categories are text based as it is easier for me to handle with standard element (<select>) instead of designing custom palettes, and I am lazy as well lol (not that much with the thousands hours I spent developping it tho ) -

You need to empty the cache of your browser to be sure you have the latest version of it (or reload a few time the page of the workshop). -

Hello, I spent my evening working on mecabricks. So basically, I added 2 features: You will find a checkbox under the part library that you can tick to display or not the non-lego parts in the library. I deleted the special category Bricks - Custom that I made the other day as the special parts now appear in the middle of the other lego bricks but with a blue background for the icons. By default they don't appear to avoid the confusion. The second modification is related to missing parts. Just above the colour palette, I added a field to request missing parts. I will be notified whenever a user requires a part not yet modelled. -

Oups! I don't have this part either so I wasn't able to check it. If you wish to modify the slide model to make it as per the official part, email it to me and I will include the new model. I also made an update to the part library. There is now a checkbox under the part list that you can tick or untick to display or not the customs parts. e.g. in the Bricks - Sloping category where there are 3 customs parts from bbqqq. There are actually IDs in mecabricks. I try as much as possible to stick to the lego design ID. It's not displayed but it exists. Try to look for a Design ID (e.g. 3003 for a 2X2 brick) in the search field and you'll see that the part will be found. The IDs of the custom parts will now start with a 'c'. The first 3 parts that bbqqq has made are c1, c2 & c3. @Nachapon, if you model official lego sets and want to make them public, there is a special feature in the workshop. Go to the properties window and under Type, select official set in the list. Then enter the set reference and click on the magnifier on the left or press enter. All the information about the set will be retrieved from brickset and i'll be able to handle it as an official set to add it in the index that I maintain. -

I'm not at all against the idea of having multiple libraries of parts coming from different manufacturers. However, unless someone models them, I can't really make them as I don't own any myself. -

I put your part design ID 11267 in the modelling elements section. All good . -

Yep, I agree with you vynsane. I didn't know that I would have unofficial parts in mecabricks until yesterday So I implemented it the simple way. My idea is put custom parts in their proper categories but to include a checkbox to hide them or not (+maybe identify them with a different background colour for the icons). The other thing I want to do soon, as per one of the ideas here, is to add a little tooltip to easily request parts that are missing in the library. -

Hello, No, for now I didn't make any import/export functions for other formats. It's kinda tricky because the parts in the different softwares have different geometrical references and orientation so you need to create a conversion table for each of them. Are you talking about the arch and roof tile? As they are not standard, would you have any 3D models or at least dimensions?
