Good evening ladies and gentlemen of eurobricks. I just want to run a quick idea past everyone (mainly the Mods). Anyway recently i have been working on a little messageboard site called LEGOSWAP its main purpose (as you can guess) is for lego swapping (also some selling) Anyway the first thing I wanted to do is ask the mods if it would be ok to post a link to it here on EB so there is a site thats JUST for swapping and tradeing? The other thing I only a moment ago thaught of is as follows- As EB has recently had to open up a seperate section for sellers as they are starting to overcrowd and dominate the site for sales purposes how about you hand sales responsibilities to me. Im thinking if you got rid of all the unwanted selling threads and send them over to me? If this is a stupid idea just say so as it just came to me off the top of my head .

Im not sure if this has been mentioned but it just occoured to me when reading GnomeLover95s post. After halloween I persume sales of this set will drop quite a bit? Does this mean the price may drop by a significant amount?

I think a police station in your building style would be great! It could have some wanted poster stickers up and a parking space round the side. (And a cell to lock me up in for my evil doings at the chemist )

Hi Everyone. You may remember about a week ago I posted a question here about wether to sell my carousel set or not. The end decision was to put it on ebay when they are doing free listings. Well its all listed now and i just wanted to post a little note letting EBers know in cas anyone wants to bid . Ebay listing-10196 Or I will consider a straight out offer as I need some money ASAP. Thanks guys. (To the mods)-I wasnt sure if this should go in the new Bazzar fourm or not? I didnt think so as i am not a constant seller and this will likely be a one off. Yeah i may have to do that. It is an annoying feeling though knowing ebay have just taken £40 (or whatever the fees cost) away from you just for using their site. But i suppose if it means I no longer need to worry about bills its ok. thanks

Thanks guys. I have had a look on brickpicker and it says the used price is about £340. This is probably right but is over £100 less than the average bricklink price and a couple hundred lower than ebay pricing. I was thinking about selling it on ebay but fees are over 15% now arnt they? Not to mention paypal and listing fees! I may put it up at £3?? on eurobricks in the faint chance someone may want it and then put it up on some other second hand goods sites? (is it ok to put it here on EB I havent had a chance to fully read through the new rules yet?)

Good day ladies and gentlemen. I am stuck with a rather large problem. For the past few years I have been doing a corse on drugs and medicine. Well i have now finished but their are a few problems meaning I cant start work immediately. I wont go into them now but the point is I need a bit of extra money. The best thing i can think of is to sell my most valueable set-the 10196 grand carousel. I love my carousel and i would not like to sell it but i feel it is nessicary. As far as I can tell it is complete but as all you fellow AFOLs know it is easy to loose a peice or two . So the main question is does anyone know the correct value. They seem to range from about £450 on bricklink for a old yellowing one to £1600 for a perfect one? Mine appears all well and good. It has original box and instructions and it spins perfect. I would rather not sell it if possible but i would just lke a bit of advice from anyone who has had a problem like this before.
