  1. Thats interesting. Have they used that plastic anywhere else? Like perhaps it was used in that rubbery piece in the Assassin droids battle pack? At any rate, I really would prefer it if they stuck with good old ABS, but we'll have to wait until we have the figs in our hands to make the judgement.
  2. Thats very nice. You wouldnt even be able to tell by looking at it that it could house another vehicle inside. What movie is this from? Your page says it was directed by Tim Burton, but I cant for the life of me remember which one he made.
  3. I picked Gryffindor tower. If done properly, with a common room, girls and boys dormitorys, fireplaces and furniture, and other details, this could be excellent. Are you planning on making it as accurate as possible, or are you going to make it more of several scenes that are joined together but not to a correct scale? Similar to the way TLCs Hogwarts castles have been done. In any case, I await the result.
  4. I would bid on the interceptor and battle it out with you, k_peek_2000, but it only ships to the US. Thats an amazing price considering all the parts are there and the sheer size of the set. BTW, good work keeping us posted of interesting Ebay auctions, Zorro, hopefully one of these times Ill find something I like.
  5. Perhaps, but I doubt it. A helmet seems like a really weird piece in which to use that rubbery stuff. IMO it really should only be used for alien heads and other things that you would expect to have that sort of consistency.
  6. Ok, easy come, easy go, pics gone. I encourage you to make your own review.
  7. If you want the black fedoras that can be found in the Shanghai Chase set, there are several lots on bricklink for them. They are fairly expensive though.
  8. I must have misunderstood your meaning. However, I don't want to change my comments too much, as a lot of people already agreed or disagreed with my original ones, and none of them would make sense if I changed my views.
  9. Read the thread. Early on I declared war on Imperialshadows' minifigure army, not realising it was much bigger than mine. Since yours is so small, I think I can easily conquer it. And so, your first.
  10. Weird, you have 149 posts too...
  11. Where are you located? I'm sure I've got a bunch of those old johnny thunder hats (in brown however). Interested?
  12. Careful, KimT, we don't want your blood pressure to get too high. Oky, thats a good idea about the comparison, I'll add one. And kudos for "STAYING ON TARGET!"
  13. I actually like when that happens. All the newer members discuss useless things and we get to tell them we already figured out the answer to their pointless, meandering discussions hundreds of posts ago.
  14. Good point. However, I'm anticipating that soon a root admin will come along and tell you all it's to hard to implement.
  15. Welcome, we ought to start a "people whose screen names end with 88 club" I too was a fan of Lego Harry Potter, until they discontinued it. Wasn't that a Beatles album?
  16. Echo base will most likely blow this one out of the water. I hope to be the first to get that one reviewed as well. KimT, forgive me: That's a very nice avatar/decals you've got there, Ilikepi, glad you got some use out of my idea.
  17. Oky, must you always be the voice of reason that makes everyone else's arguments look feeble and weak?
  18. In the flesh, or in sigfig form?
  19. Heres mine: If you can make it, great, if not, don't worry about it. I really don't want to ship it anywhere. Note: The torso I used is fairly uncommon. You can substitute a clone one if you like. Nothing is necessary except the fig, everything else in the pic doesn`t matter.
  20. Better than some of you.
  21. Scratch all other declarations of minifigure war. You're first.
  22. Excellent, Pedro. The AT-AP is surprisingly accurate considering it was made with such a limited parts selection.
  23. Really, wonderful. And I'll only charge a small fee for using my trademarked idea.
  24. Pics! Typical CW guy....
  25. I don't really like these exclusive sets. I guess they're good for the stores, but it makes getting them quite hard sometimes. Although there aren't really any targets near where I live (Canada) I can often find target exclusives at my local Zellers (non-Canadians won't know that store).
