  1. I love it! I really like how you've captured the essence of a villain's fortress! And with all of the extra play features (like the light-up laser cannon), it could have been an actual LEGO set!
  2. Great model! It really captures the likeness of the original red cars, especially with the side patterns and windows. It also reminds me of the red cars that are coming to Disney California Adventure this summer!
  3. Cool modulars! I really like how you've detailed the interiors. The building facades look really interesting, too!
  4. Great MOC! I love how you've improved on the Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape, yet kept the spirit of the original set!
  5. Great review! As for the set itself, it really does a great job capturing the likeness of the original satellite. The inclusion of the minifigure really adds to it as well (even if it is just the Alien Conquest businessman with different hair).
  6. Recently, I was on Lego.com's forums, where I was reading several petitions to revive older LEGO themes. This gave me an idea. Why not create a LEGO theme that teams up characters from past LEGO themes for one major story? True, this may be too similar to "The Avengers" sets that will be coming out this May, but a few years down the road, LEGO will have the perfect opportunity to release such a theme. Not only would it satisfy legions of nostalgic fans, but it would also result in sets that are entirely different than anything before.
  7. I don't have a lot of time right now. But if I do find time, I'll enter.
  8. What a splendid creation! I just love how all the little details add up to make a very intricate and historically accurate town. I can't wait for this project to reach 10,000 supporters! As for my favorite building, I was going to pick the saloon, but I picked the central store instead. I fell in love with the front window design and it would also make a great starter to re-introduce the wild west line (even though LEGO already made a wild west general store).
  9. Good review! At first, I was a little hesitant on whether or not to get this set, but after reading this review, I am entirely sold on it. I especially like the T-Rex and minifigures.
  10. Very adorable and very creative! I also like how you so accurately recreated the Statue of Liberty's pedestal on such a small scale. It seems like that was no easy feat!
  11. I really can't wait for the mining sets to come out, even if they are a little expensive. I especially love the new minifigures! One thing I noticed, though, is that it appears that the mine will come with one of the new brick seperators. It might have been left in the display by mistake, but then again, the new town hall set comes with one, so at this point anything's possible.
  12. My name is Andrew Bermudez, coming from the Los Angeles, California area! I am currently 19 years old and I am excited about joining one of the largest LEGO fan sites around! Currently, I am working on a degree for entertainment design in hopes of one day getting a job at Walt Disney Imagineering! As for my hobbies, my favorite is, of course, building and playing with LEGO bricks. Some of my other hobbies are creating brickfilms, drawing, writing, and all around being creative. What I like to build are creations that tell stories (I grew up with the LEGO sets based around stories, from Wild West to Alpha Team, Johnny Thunder, and beyond). I also collect and build city buildings and vehicles as well, which I plan to show off sometime soon.
