Ordered a plate from S@H and some pick a brick stuff. The Pick a brick stuff came from some place in Mississippi and will arrive here today via Fedex. The xl grey plate I ordered is coming via DHL. I am wondering where the plate is coming from as it is being shipped seperate though both were sent to me 15 minutes apart?

thanks I never new you could check it before you go. I am thinking when LoTr comes out I will head to the Troy, Michigan store as it is closer to me and I will save almost 100.00.

Does any body know if the 2 TO lego stores Are exactly the same or do they carry different pick-a-bricks?

Like my guitar playing, I have been dabling in writing for years and years mostly for my own amusement. Time is always my problem. However my wife is writing a novel it is called "My Husbands to Do List". It is a magnificient piece of work that she has been writing for years. It seems she adds to it every week. Of course it is purely fiction atleast I believe it is.

greta review but you were not disappointed that the engine did not have weber carbs? I think lego was made for the t3 as they are nice and square. -
of course, if my wife found out what i really spend on Lego...well let us not go there.

For the min moc of the Capital here is my entryMy link The slums are on the front right. Merchants and industry are on the back right area. On the front left are the noble reidences. Lower left are the other guild embassies, a jousting and event area and a small wooded area for the royalty to ride. The capital is backed up to a mountain. The castle is built into the mountain. This is my first mini MOC. I used the computer instead of real lego as I did not have enough slopes in the right colours. -
vacuum pack machines can be bought at any place that sells kitchen stuff like a hardware store or walmart. As mentioned, place minifigure in plastic, and using machine it will suck air out and seal the top. At the grocery store many items in the deli counter esp. cheese will be vacuum packed.

what about vacuum packing it?

I need to clean alot of old lego and am wondering what everybody else does and uses? I searched the archives but no real answer. Thanks in advance.

Thankyou for the welcome, I will plan to go to the show in TO. Probably just for the Sunday.

I think they should have just created a special elf bow. A nice recurve with writing on the limbs would be nice.

Hello, my name is Drogo Brambleburr formerly of Sandydowns. My freinds and I were at our favorite watering hole, when the topic of leaving the shire came up. Actually we had no way to pay for our bar tab and getting out of town seemed to be our only option. A traveler had told us about a place called Milgardia with its warm weather and endless rolling hills. A few ales latter we decided to pack our most valuable possessions and head to this Mitgardia. Well we have arrived and are a little confused about the cold and snow but have no money to get back. So we shall pledge our allegiance to the Mitgardia Guild and offer our great Hobbit agricultural knowledge and our very famous fighting skills. All we ask is for a small valley with water where we may start a new shire, White Furrows. On the wagon is my dear freind Hob Bulge. On the first white horse and welding an axe is Berilac Smallburrow and with a sword in hand on the second white horse is Podo Buffin. On the black horse is I Drogo Brambleburr. My link Unfortunatly I am having trouble loading pictures all I can get is a link to work. -
Just bought 3 mandalorian packs to bring my figure count to 16. I also bought small car set,2 containers of pick a brick. All my money for lego will be saved now for LotR stuff.

Best parts to have in bulk for castle MOCing?
glenpinpat replied to dwarf-brik's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I would get 2x4x3 slopes for making the castle mounts as well as hard to get colours.
