I started building with Lego when I was 5yo, in 1975, when my grandma gifted me a box of standard bricks, windows and roof tiles...

At 8 I was gifted the 853 Car Chassis and from there on, I was enchanted by Technics: in 4-5 years I bought (...at least, my relatives bought! ): car chassis, go-kart, pneumatic excavator, pneumatic forklift, universal sets and much more.

As I was growing older, though, I entered in my "Lego dark age" and stopped quite completely to build (I only helped my younger brother sometime).

Now I'm over 40, married, with a beautiful 5yo daughter, and I work as a consultant engineer, but last Christmas I gifted myself the 8043 Motorized Excavator...

And suddenly I re-discovered the joy of Lego building! Searching for upgrades for my set, I found Jurgen's Technic Corner... Discovered BrickLink and immediately built Jurgen's Ultimate 8043...

Than I entered in the unstudded building world... and in less then 3 month, I bought and built many models and even starting designing and realizing some MOCs.

Now I even discovered the Lego Creator sets, and I'm planning to mix the two world by building some Technic MOCs with Bricked exterior... We'll see the results!
