Hi, I remember one of my friend joining a competition of building lego called lego build the change, hosted by lego education. I'm just curious to know if anyone has participated too (it is a worldwide contest, the countries change every year), and we can share our experiences in it. I was there to watch my friend take part, and that time,the contest was held last year june in singapore.

the lego star wars watch (anakin skywalker) easter eggs: when the watch was first released, the label on it was miss-pelt an 'anakin skywlacker' it was released again with the correct spelling, but the correct spelling watch is harder to find. oh yes, remember jedi bob?

But anyways, all the clone brands have copied most of their brick designs from lego's brick. though lego's patent has expired, but if those other brands are taking the opportunity to make their own lego lookalikes, I call that 'uncreative'. after all, most of their bricks have studs. (which are lego's creation)

dont worry, FOLs, I think in the end, people would realize its not worth their money to buy the poor quality rip offs. Lego is one of the best toy brands in the world in terms of quality, play-ability and many more. mega bloks kre o lego

actually, I have a friend who buys manuals not because he does no want too build off the screen, but he just likes to collect them, for some reason. When I asked him why, he said he just like to look at the manual and imagine building the set instead of really building it. strange dude.

Hi! I'm from singapore too! prehaps why the prices of lego in s'pore is expensive is because Europeans earn more than Singaporeans. to them, lego seems cheaper cos they earn more. but for us, we earn less, but the price of lego is the same as theirs. hope this helps!

And by any case you did not manage to imagine the sound effects mentioned in my cheesy introduction above, go to youtube and search for scary music. Hahaha, so, I am from Singapore (you know, that country in south east Asia), and lego is my favourite hobby. In fact, I have too much lego, that I am considering renting a self storage! however, I do not usually collect sets to turn them into MOCs, but I rather just display them as they are. My favourite themes are ninjago, city and of course, Star Wars (again, for additional effect, hum the imperial march) other than lego, I love relative physics and writing essays about my life. Some people call me a geek, But I don't mind. To me, education is very important. That's another reason I love lego: you can easily associate lego with education. yes, there even is a theme for it. so, I don't really want you guys out there to be reading on a page long intro, so I'll just keep it short and sweet and end ith here. P.S: as an asian, I rejoice in the opening of LEGOLAND malaysia. No need to buy air tickets to denmark anymore!
