For Germany. We have so many bright young players, I hope that they continue to improve. Not sure who I'm going for in the final yet, right now I'm leaning to the Netherlands.

Crap. Well, at least I can say Spain deserved it, they were just too explosive. I think we have good hope for the future though.

Good game! I was happy to see the Netherlands win, hopefully we'll meet them on Sunday. That first goal was outstanding!

If I wasn't a Germany fan I would be hoping for that as well. In other sports, unless I have a team that I support taking part I always go for the teams that haven't won before.

I agree. I think it's terrible luck for Ghana, but it's not like Suarez got away without penalty. I'm sure a lot of other players would have done the exact same thing. Who are your guys' picks for the semifinal? I'm pretty sure the Netherlands will win, but I'm not sure about Germany/Spain.

My picks would be: Spain Uruguay Brazil And at this point I really don't know about Germany/Argentina, I think it could go either way. I'll say Argentina, so hopefully I'll jinx them.

The referee for the England Germany match was from Uruguay actually. Spain deserved to win I think, they looked quite good today.

Shame. I highly doubt that the Paraguay will be able to beat the winner of Spain/Portugal though.

I'm going for Japan as well, it would be nice for an asian team to make it a bit further. We already have 3 South American teams in the quarterfinals.

Like MetroID said, no more bickering about silly things OK? It's fine to have some discussion, but only if it's well thought out, and not about the same thing over and over. If you want my opinion, I think if both teams are eliminated in the same round, there's no difference.

Woohoo! That was really nice, good job Deutschland! I must say, at half time I thought we would lose. But, in the end it worked out. Mueller played great. Unfortunate about Lampard's shot, that's exactly why we need replay like most other sports use.

That's a nickname for Ghana's team. I'm not so sure that we'll win tomorrow. The game against Australia was fantastic, but the last two games have been very shaky. We'll just have to wait and see.

Just out of curiosity, how did you start cheering for the Netherlands? Yesterday's Italy Slovakia game was very exciting. Every time I thought the game was over, Italy would score again. Japan's free kicks were amazing.

You can separate the pieces, but there's a little bit of a quality difference, at least there used to be. Not sure if LEGO fixed the problems or not.
