I decided to get Kahuka's Throne! I thought it would be a good choice for my first set since it comes with a lot of figs. I'm so excited! I can't wait to start making my own pirate MOCs. If I like it which I'm sure I probably will, I will probably get Broadside's Brig for my next set. Thanks for all the help guys! Arrgh! Erdbeereis, the new pirate in town

Happy birthday Batbrick! Wishing you many rattling birthday presents!

First I thought you ment in U.S. dollars. That would have been a nasty surprise!I might have to check my Target again today. Pretty soon they will start to think that I am planning a heist or something since I am there so often!

lagoon lock-up looks great, but it's a bit expensive. For my first set I wanted to stay under or around $20. Eventually I wouldn't mind paying that much but I want to start small. Would it be a good idea to maybe get Kahuka's Throne + Broadside's brig? Edit: The 20$ does not include postage SlyOwl The cheapest I saw EI for was 42$. Where can you get it cheaper?

Very subtle. I'm not sure which theme I am most interested in yet. I have never really had any of them so I don't know which I want first. I guess I just have to keep buying more! Are the used sets on bricklink usually pretty good quality? Thanks for all the help so far!

Well apart from checking my local Target almost everyday... Just about nothing ! Only 2 and a half more days!

Hello! I am interested in getting my first Pirate set! I was wondering which would be a good set to get that is under 20$ for my first one. I was considering getting King Kahuka's Throne. Would this be a good buy? Thanks!

Still no luck at Target . Gah! I can't wait! I would hope they would be out this Thursday which is May 1st. It's funny how most people in Europe were complaining that the U.S. was getting the sets before them and now we're the ones who are having to wait .
-
Sounds like some of you Brits got the new sets before us anyway . I'll check my local Target again today. Hopefully I will get lucky.

I think #3 is the best too. The roof is looking good so far! I can't wait to see the whole building.

I like the Landspeeder quite well but the other 2 I am not so pleased with. Anakin's ship is far too boxy for my taste and the Slave 1 is decent but the back is a bit long. The colors for the Slave 1 are also a little strange. The Landspeeder on the other hand I think is pretty good. Far from perfect but it is definitely the best of the 3 in my opinion. I don't think I will buy any. Thanks for the pics though! I always like seeing new things!

Ah. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I am not what you call a "Star Wars expert" . What comes in the new Republic Gunship this summer is a bacta-tank right?
-
Very nice! I really like the blue transparent pieces. Those are called bacta-tanks right? Anyway, it has a nice clean sterile look that is very accurate. Great work!

This is fantastic! I love those rocks! And the house looks great! I am really liking these new Fabuland MOCs. The look of the Fabuland pieces with normal pieces is very nice. Top-notch work Hinckley!

Looking good! I like Patrick's shorts. They look great! I know there aren't too many pink bricks out there but using them would make him look even better. Nice work!

Great! Sounds like more and more stores are getting the new sets now. Hopefully they should be widespread relatively soon! Can't wait until someone gets the Temple and reviews it! I would do it but I am sure by the time I get it about 5 people will already have reviewed it. Is there a limit as to how many reviews of a certain set there can be? Because if there isn't one then when I get some of the new sets I might review one or two...

I love it! I laughed a lot. Nice SNOT on the "ties". That Satipo hair looks good on the mad scientist! Nice work!

Fabuland Guillotine and Odds & Ends (Uses for a Blue Bucket)
Erdbeereis replied to SirNadroj's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I like it! The blue bucket is really funny and the water pump looks great. I think it is cool how you did the blade. I like the way it is upside down. Fantastic work as usual! The shack is looking great so far! I agree with Hinckley, I think the boat will move up and down the rock. -
Wow! That's good luck! I decided that I'll just wait until May 1st until I check at a store again. Seems like most stores don't have 7677 yet. If it really is May 1st when they come out officially then only 1 more week!

:oh: Wow! That is the best castle I have ever seen! The river is fantastic and the mountain is amazing! The details are just so nice and the flowers and the roof and the boat..... Give me a break to catch my breath now. It almost makes me sad to see these great MOCs because it makes me feel like any MOC I make now won't even come close to something like this ! Great work RebelRock!

Happy (one day late) Earth Day! Now let's get off the computer and plant something!
-
Yes. That can happen very easily. I guess I will just have to go to every Wal-Mart, Toys r us, and Target each day until they are there. I think it is very bad though that they have a big display like that and still don't let you buy them. They should at least give you a 5 dollar off coupon or something.

That's hilarious! I like the rolls of tp! Very good work, I hope to see more!
