Olinn was confused by the glumness of the most recent heroes he had seen enter the hall - he had thought that these people would feel happy and accomplised whenever they returned. Perhaps they had failed their quest? He didn't know, but hoped that it wouldn't happen to him all the same. If he ever got to go on one, that is...

Dear Leo, Two paladins named Boomingham and Cronk are speaking about the racial tendancies of orcs. It's strange - this Cronk does not appear to be at all like the orcs that I had heard about in so many of my fathers' stories when I was litte. He seems childish, almost - but in a good way. Also, a heroine named Alexis has recieved a baby phoenix. I must try and communicate with it soon - animals are so much more interesting and easy to talk to (for me, at least) than most other people. -Olinn.

All of these accomplished and somewhat scary-looking heroes that Olin had never seen before made him fell a little intimidated. He nervously inched away further from them, until Sparky the cat decided to go over and swat at Boomingham's angel, thinking he was a moth.

Pretzel, Too late! Olinn. "I-I've got Z-Mail..?"

Leo, A reward? Really? So I get something without actually participating - how wonderful! Thank you, I shall look forward to it. Good luck on your quest! Olinn.

Dear Leo, How goes the quest? Thank you again for helping me feel welcome at the Hall. I wish I had've been chosen for the quest, but then again, if I had, I would've had to put up with the monk! Olinn

OOTS is the best thing ever to exist in the entire universe ever. Oh, um, except for this RPG, of course!

"As I am a gentleman, I shall rexpect your wishes, senorita..." Raoul replied, as he bowed (as well as a bird possibly could) and flew back to Olinn. Sparky the cat stared at McCafferey, but for a much different reason than Olinn's other pet. The feline could imagine her now, all crispy and dripping with gravy..."

"Oh, um... o-okay then, s-sorry Mrs. Chicken..." he squeaked, as he shuffled off back to his table, almost completely ignoring Atramor. He didn't understand - every other animal he had ever talked to before responded so remarkably well to him - this was a strange and different one indeed, he thought to himself. Raoul was not so easily irked, however. "Come on, mi amor, all I want is a chance to, how you say, 'ruffle your feathers'!" cawed the falcon suggestively, in a Spanish accent, to McCafferey.

Seeing a fellow with a wide hat entering the hall with a chicken on his head, Olinn went over to introduce himself... To the chicken, that is. He didn't really like talking to other people unless he felt he had to, but he loved talking to animals. He seemed to have quite a way with them. Olinn used his special Ranger's animal-talk ability to converse with the bird. "Hello, Mr.s Chicken", he said sweetly. "My name is Olinn, what's yours? Oh, and these are my friends; Sparky the cat and Raoul the falcon." As he said this, Raoul stared wide-eyed at the chicken. He was in to interracial avian relationships ( )

Sounds... interesting.....

Oh dear - Atramor and McCaffery seem to be having some 'trouble in paradise'! Olinn might have to use his affinity for animals and his animal talking abiliy to help straighten things out between the two when they get back to the hall.

Hell yeah, assassins rule!

Or Alisha! I don't think either of those big scary barbarian women would take too kindly to that!

Olinn was dissapointed that he had not been chosen for the latest quest - however, at the same time, he felt rather relieved. This would give him more time to get to know his fellow heroes and get used to his surroundings.

Thanks, maybe I'll go read the previous quests. :)

Does anyone know when the next quest will be? Just slightly dissapointed that I missed out on the 24th one. Not that I'm really upset about it or anything, but still.

Olinn had never met this many people in such a short space of time before - some seemed friendly, but he could never be totally sure. Finally, he built up the courage to thank them for their welcomings. "Thank you all for w-welcoming me s-so, um, welcomingly? M-my name is... O-Olinn... I, uh, hope we c-can all be... friends? A-at some point..." It was nice to feel welcomed, especially for him. As he finished speaking, Sparky the cat went around and sniffed everyone's shoes, rubbing against those who had welcomed him so. Then, Raoul the falcon landed on the monk's head and fiddled with his hood with his beak.

Olinn was rather taken aback by this sudden outburst. He had anticipated that his fellow heroes would be more... assertive than he, but not this assertive... "Oh, um, I-I'm s-s-sorry, I d-didn't know about black cats and m-magic... I haven't m-much exp-p-perience with other p-people... b-but I assure you, m-my cat's n-not evil or a-anything... sorry..." Olinn turned away swiftly, holding Sparky close and patting him, as the cat hissed ferociously at the monk. Raoul the falcon eyed the scene skeptically.

A newcomer to the Guild of Heroica arrived silently, as if to not raise attention. As he slowly budged open the large entrance doors to the hall, he peeped through nervously, looked side to side, and let his two animal companions, a black cat and a brown falcon, into the hall. They quickly lept (and flew) onto one of the tables in the Saloon, as the newcomer slowly crept up the steps and sat down where his only friends had chosen to sit. He quietly ordered a glass of water for himself, a saucer of milk for his cat, and a bowl of seeds for his falcon, and looked around. It was peaceful, just how he liked it, but it was not how he expected it to be at all. He could scarcely believe he was about to embark on adventures of his own! Olinn Whisperwind, Sparky the cat, and Raoul the falcon are here! Olinn decides to sign up for Quest #24.

Wouldn't mind living there, looks so peaceful..
