Okay, so, I didn't see this topic anywhere else (point me in the direction of it if I'm wrong) and I haven't been on EB in... years. So, does anyone here want to try and figure out who the Great Being that was in the Mata Nui robot was? I actually have a hunch, but I won't tell anyone if no one responds. So please respond! >:D

Oh my damn! You're right! Oh, and Bfa, from what I understood, Mata Nui had not told the Glatorian ANYTHING from the point that Ackar said that. From what I can tell, those are just the mouths. I don't see a mouth guard. I loved the Vorox fight. Though it seemed a little short. The fact that the tail started sparking, though, raised some questions. I mean, didn't they say the Glatorian are more organic than they are all robot-y? I mean, the Agori freaked out at seeing those wolves that were almost pure robot. And I finally get what Jim (Ackar) was saying in the BtS. "Armed only with a tail and... that thing." That's something I was thinking, too. Or see his head get brabbed by the Spikit and then pulled down/in followed by roaring and ripping sounds. I'm also trying to picture Tuma showing Stroius around or something like that and they see it happen as they walk away, Tuma still talking as the sounds of horror come from behind. No, they do mean Atakus. I haven't personally seen it for myself (except in the box magazine art with scenes from the movie). But apparently they replaced Fero with Atakus, I guess just to get some sets in there and Fero looks kinda like a cross between Atakus and a Skrall so it just helped the movie? And I'm kind of dissappointed in the fact that it's the Skopio creature and not the vehicle. I really wanted to see Telluris. And does anyone think we'll se a Spikit? I think it'd be cool to see it movie-ized. ~Makuta'sdarkslave

I would, lol. I (finally) got my Legends, so I can now do my thoughts on them. Gelu: Um... boring. He's your basic build, nothing special about him except a new head/mask (you know... 2009) and thos things on the back of his arms. 2/10 Stronius: I actually like this guy. He looks really good, despite his massive armor. He looks like a cross between Carapar and Mantax. I would also like to point out that when you put his head down and point his shoulder armor up at a certain angle, he looks like an awkward turtle. 7/10 Kiina: I love this chick! At first, when we saw those older pics, I thought she was crap. But now, it's like... wonderful! I look at her, and I see a very pissed off sea goddess. Also, if you take off her mask and shoulder armor (and possible her leg armor) she. Looks. Like. A. girl! O: I like the ocean based design. I also like the body build, very nice, very new, and very unique. Also, I lol'd at thos hybrid legs, why would they do that? xD I give her a 7/10 Ackar: Again, he's the common build. But for some reason, I like him. It's probably because of the Mata Red and orange. It's really good. I'm pissed at those cuffs on his ankles, though. Anyone know a way to mod those so they won't rattle? Like, does a friction pin work? Anyways, I like him more than Gelu, I don't know though. It's probably just because he looks cool. 6/10 Vastus: Meeeh... his build is kind unique but that staff really gets on my nerves. I like how the silver spikes stay nicely settled iin his shoulder armor and that it doesn't move around unless you knock it a bit. His snake design is very cool, but I only thought he had 2 pigtrails. Apparently he also has a ponytail. Lol. And I'm confused on why he has those 2 pieces on his back. It looks kinda awkward when you pull them out. 6/10 Mata Nui: When I first pulle dout the Ignika and compared it to last years, I was laughing quite a bit about how it's so small and adorable. Like, it's just cute. I don't know how to describe it, but I think I'm in love with a small piece of plastic. In any case, his shoulder armor makes it hard to pose his arms back (I was setting up a photo shoot of all my sets and I had him above everyone else with his head back and armss raised (like a... savior person... Messiah) and it was hard to position his arms right. However, I still love him. His shield is cool. I also made his movie sword, and it's... okay. Could be better though. 9/10 That's my thoughts. Heey, so I uh... finally ordered the Legends (what is this, like, 8 months later than everyone else?). They should be here in about a week, but apparently there's something up with the mail system that's making it go faster or something like that. Gah, I can't wait until I get them. I need to make my YouTube video as soon as possible (I'm making like... an epic...). I was thinking I should've gotten a vehicle, but, again, my mom had to buy them, and of course, I'd hate to pay her back... well, she does ow me $1000 dollars (yes, you read right, one thousand dollars, for someone who lives in our house's bills on his house...). Yeah, you're probably right. Unless they do what they did back in '02 ('03? o.O) When Taks was diving into the Mangaia and it said "To be continued in BIONICLE: Mask of Light!" perhaps they'll do that again, shwoing some of the vehicles but not going into anything with them. Like, you might seem them in the background or something, but they don't do anything serious. Who knows. ~Makuta'sdarkslave

I kept thinking he was gonna do something cartoonish and look down at himself then jump up in surprise, his arms kinda going out and saying something "God" related. Then I thought: "Wait... Mata Nui is God! So he would've said something like "OH, ME!" or "HOLY ME!" or something about Me, Myself, or I. I don't know, it's just what I was thinking at the time. I forget my exact mind quotes. Edit: Seeing as I'm the last poster, still, I will write my thoughts on the KanohiJournal Surel contest. Personally, I like the first entry, it seems more old and crippled, and he just looks overall awesome. But more people are voting for Entry 2, which baffles me. Entry 2 is more young and looks like he took armor off, not like he's crippled, though I do give props for the damaged leg. ~Makuta'sdarkslave

Nope, apparently I lied. :\ I went back yesterday, and there was like, 3 mothrs, and at least 7 kids in the aisle, making it difficult to get down there. I had a clear view of the canisters (no Legends...) and when I looked up at the box sets, I swore I saw Cendox and managed to squueze through. Upon getting in front of it, however, I found out it was some other yellow Lego set that had been placed int he wrong area, so sadly there was no Cendox. It looked like it from an angle, but when in front of it, failure. I don't remember the exact set, though, I think itwas that aeroplane creater one. :\ Oh well. xP ~Makuta'sdarkslave

Oh my god, I love where this is going, but I think we're probably gonna get hammered a little if we continue. But still, I would totally love to see these ideas... and just because I was totally inspired by that picture of a supposed insectoid character from 2010 in the other thread, I'm just gonna throw out there that there are mutants running amok that attempt to eat the Glatorian and are a completely differnt faction (so there are 3 groups). Weird. On topic, I saw Cendox at a store today but sadly I didn't have enough money to buy it (after seeing RotF, buying 7 people dinner and then several CD's, my wallet was running on empty). I hope to get it next time I have money (if it's in stock at the store...). I'll also be ordering the Legends sometime this weekend finally. I didn't have enough money at the time, but I'm getting a social security check sometime this week (between the 1st and 3rd) so I should have enough money to pay for them all from S@H. ~Makuta'sdarkslave

I actually really like this new Mata nui set. Despite the random mish-mash of colors, it still seems to look pretty good to my eyes. It's a big set, got a fair amount of pieces. I missed out on Keetongu and Yetrax, so in all honesty, Id be hitting some good pieces here. I actually have Taks still put together (for the most part, minus the weapons...) so I could probably do some interesting things... or... I don't know, I'm rambling and lost my train of thought. *watched as a train drove away, waving* In any case, yes. I was looking at those pictures from TLRB. At first, upon seeing the Skopio, I imagined some cartoon with living machines with glowing eyes. That still seemed pretty cool, but I'm confused on why a Skopio would have treads, I thought Bara Magna was more organics? I don't know. The thought of Metus being the traitor baffles me, but it does seem to fit, he's probably the most headstrong of the Agori we've seen so far. But if it's an extended ending, I'm just wondering...? Wouldn't Mats be gone by the time the movie was done? I'm thinking, and I'm probably wrong, but I was thinking/imagining Mats and Iggy going back to the MU at the end of the movie and totally owning Terry somehow. Wow, I'm really trying to figure out what the battera look like. I mean, after figuring the Bohrok are modeled after them, it's just gonna keep me awake all night. And what's up with Click in the centre of the Skrall maze on the box arts? Weird. Maybe he gets trapped in one and has to get out some time in the movie. o.o Also, I really wish I could see those pictures on the top of the boxes. It would make my day if I could get clear pictures of them, but that won't be for a few months, probably. Then again, you never really know, eh? :\ Anyways, ranting again, so... yeah. The pictures of Mata Nui from TLR are not. What I'm trying to say is that everyone here is damn blind, and that those CGI pictures are more... you know, like... BIONICLE: Heroes crap... I mean, look at them! If I could post pictures, I would, but my computer sucks so I can't... Anyways, look at those pictures and compare them to the BIONCLE: Heroes CGI images. They're, again, the same. And once more, the pictures we see here don't look anything like we saw in the magazine, that Mata Nui there doesn't look like the Mata Nui in the magazine, so... yeah. ._. ~Makuta'sdarkslave

Am I the only one to think that that trailer looks fake? :\ And more thing... You guys remember Bionicle Heroes, right? You know, the shitty video game that sucked horribly? Yeah, well look at the character pictures from that game... and then look at those pictures. They're the same!! And we all saw those screenshots from the movie inside the new magazine, so now look at these Mata Nui pictures... they're too "set accurate" and don't look anything that we saw within the magazine. And, why is Atakus labeled as "Bone Hunter"? I swear, sometimes... *slapped his face and sighed/groaned in frustration* Now, quick question: where did this whole "traitor" business come from? HE MAAAAAAN!!! WE ARE THE HE MAN WOMAN HATERS! D:< Wait, what? o.O Anyways... I still don't like Kiina all that much. I mean, her body style is different and looking at it, it's better, what I don't like is more storyline based that I'm having trouble with... because there is very little water on Bara Magna and she's... well, let's be honest, she's a fish with legs. ._. Gelu was always pretty cool in my opinion. He looked like a cross between a ninja and Samus. And who doesn't love those? :3 But Stronius is still one of my favorites. He's a sophisticated neandrathal-type character, and that's what gets me. Plus, he seems kind of advanced, in a primitive way. I don't know how to describe it (mostly because I'm distracted by Grey's Annatomy on the tv in the other room, and the sound is ANNOYING! DX) but... yeah. I still like him. Overall, I have to say my favorite is Mata Nui, though. At the beginning, he seemed a little bleh, but now, he's just awesome. I never had a Keetorange set, so it'll be pretty cool for me. ~Makuta'sdarkslave

Personally, I like the Scarabax beetle (just got issue today). Sure, it's a bit disproportianabalized, but it's still pretty cool. Looking at it, it does remind me of a scarab beetle, even though it's all... BIONICLE-ized... although I'm a little disappointed with the name, I guess it goes good for a pet name. However, I'm now trying to find out why it's important to Mata Nui. Maybe it was the first creature to actually show kindness towards him after planetfall and turns out to be an ancient messenger from t he GBs? I don't know, all I know is, when I go to sleep tonight (in... like 45 minutes, hopefully) I won't be able to sleep just because of this... and the fact that all those haunting forwarded messages have now moved on to my phone from the internet. o.e When I got my magazine today, I forgot it had Mata Nui in the front, and I opened it and I swear, the page glowed. It's all... Keetorange... ish. But it's also really cool. I don't know why, though. I read some comments on a Youtube video about people actually complaining about the cut-away on Iggy's face to reveal MN's mouth. They were saying things about how it was "un-cool" and looked more like a helmet. I was going to comment, but then I realized that I was probably oging to be flamed by a bunch of little kids flippin' out on me about it. I guess I kinda am out of the main target audience now... Looking at the Scarab shield, I don't know, it looks like it's made of a giant bug... They're gonna kill a little bug. T~T Nah, I kid. I used to do that all the time. ;D ~Makuta'sdarkslave

Uum, I think we kinda already knew that Bara Magna was part of Spherus Magna. :\ At least I did anyways... Also, about the Vorox, it's possible. I mean, Brickthing said that it was the Sandbat, but actually he and Metus were attacked by a Sandbat a little while later. Mata Nui was attacked by a creature upon landing/creating a body.
