I am a big fan of licences !! Lets not forget that a fantastic licence like SW saved Lego and brought a lot of hard core AFOLs back to the precious brick !! I am so happy that 2 of my favorites movie universes (SW and Indy) have a Lego makeover !! Licences add a lot of diversity and is easier (unfortunatly) for kids to relate to (lack of imagoination and so on...) Also licenses add cool new parts (new bikes...) and accessories (tommy guns, uzi, blasters, whips...) and so much more. Sure there is a license that you might dislike, BUT its always a good parts pack if you find a good deal on it !! Also I am positive that its because of the success of SW, that TLC decided to go walk the right path for their generic themes: Castle and City are the perfect examples and I'm still hoping for a great pirate renewal for may'08 ;-) Why eliminate one ? If there are things to eliminate right now its definitly NOT licenses but 2 "regular" themes that loose valuable shelf place (* cough EF, MM cough*). Lets not forget that other licences (I'm leaving SW apart) takes very little shelf place. Licenses On !! *yoda*

No worries at all mate ;-) I thought it was yet another rant on that issue ans when I finished my post I realised it was some Sinner catching up X-D No worries, I think I dislike them as much as you do ;-) Well Yes and No to be honest !! EB has always been a freestyle community that didn't need rules because its members behaved and what have you !! To keep that spirit, we implemented that 18 years old policy. And to keep it further, I don't see the need to have strict rules on what goers where. Why ? Easy: some people will not read them, will not abide them, some MOCs will incorporate several themes and what have you, and I and other staff members don't want to waist a lot of time moving threads around !! We are tired of police work !! And once again, thats why we have indexes: to find out trhe best of EB in one pinned thread. Also it would be havoc if you had every single MOC in that forum !! Having them spread a bit is a tad confusing but wxorks really well overall ;-) *yoda*

No we don't so far !! Its way too early to have a definite planning ;-) But all I can say is that all events has been around the same dates (i.e. end of april, beginning of may) *yoda*

Why do you think we have indexes for Pete's sake !! And there is another NO regarding the MOC forum !! It embodies the EB spirit by beeing freestaylme so there will NOT be any subs in there !! Arghh its an old topic revival due to Sinner >:-( Lets take an example regarding space: you would probably get more replies in the MOC forum rather than in the dead space forum ;-) And yes that MOC forum has its utility !! *yoda*

:-P I am just realistic there ;-) Well I think its too early to determine categories in all fairness ;-) We shoulmd wait and see !!Its not fair to haver a category with 2 entries, and one with way more entries... I think we should have tgotally different categories such as best overall looks, best fun/nice details and such rather than too wide categories !! Having a really modular next to a simple building as mine woulkd really not be fair at all. Therefore I say we wait until the end ;-) *yoda*

Not gonna happen ;-) Having said that, I am sure we'll have way better in '09 ;-) We'll have at least 2 BPs !! They always come in duos hehe: a scoutie one with revamped bike (finally !!) and an Endor Rebel one !! OR maybe if the super BP works well, we might have a good guys super BP with rebels, yub yubs andsome war machines hehe !! I was thinking about that today !! If the DS playset works well, they might do those sets that are without vehicles only SAH exclusives. A way bigger Jabba's Palace and Cantina !! This would include a lot of figs and new ones as well !! Could be interesting !! On the beeing better question, thats a tough one. I think both solutions do have great points and downsides !! To overall everytrhing, I think that TLC needs to do both in every "theme" they touch: Mos Eisley, Endor... I'm really excited by these possibilities hehe !! Now its up to us to show TLC what we want hehe !! Lets all buy some DS to encourage them to venture more in that direction :-P *yoda*
