Technically NOT at all !! I know I did a lot of overlapping but the MOC is still on a 8x8 plate whereas Phred's entry is clearly NOT on a 8x8 vig. So the entry should be excluded from the deciding poll. Really ? Why is that ? Because you wanted to prove that old convicts could count rocks X-D :-P *yoda*

Just saw The Kingdom !! Very interesting and less violent than Black Hawk Down. Really interesting movie to watch with some nice dialogues. A little better understanding of the Middle East (yeay I know I said little :-P ) *yoda*

Let me shed a light for you then ;-) A themed contest can have different categories so if it does we need to have that specified. Let me give you an example Contest theme: MOC postal truck and we could have categories such as: * best design * best construction * best TLC feel (...) I guess both if I understand you question !! View it as fairness if you will: once the terms of the contest are set and the contest is taking place, the rules of the contest cannot be changed UNLESS the staff agrees Hope that I clarified them for you ;-) *yoda*

I like the vig concept (even the stretched one mind you :-P ) and also small competitions because it makes everybody on an equal start ;-) Total freedom always reward the biggest entry, or the entry with the most bricks, and thats clearly an area where history always repeats itself and that annoys me. I really might refrain from entering those from now on since they are not fun at all. And once again Statler and Waldorf crack me up X-D *yoda*

Bear in mind that we only know the january line up and the fact that we'll have 8 CW sets. Add to that that the january sets are never the best compared to the may and later releases and I doubt that we won't get 1 or 2 more OT sets ;-) I'm like you and want way more OT sets ;-) Yep that is so true !! When I came out of my dark age I felt like Klaus and wanted solely OT sets but I really come to love nearly all what have been made (I said nearly because of those darn ep2 clones :-P ). I want news badly now looooool *yoda*

Not at all buddy ;-) Suggrestions are always welcome off course but I might have misunderstood your post and I pologize if you thought my reply was kind of aggressive which it was really not (at least in my mind :-P ). I didn't take your post personnally at all ;-) It sometimes I get fed up with whining !! Nothing is perfect, the vigs should be 8x8 only, then again if its small MOCS what are those and yada yada yda... G I don't get whats wrong with overlapping vigs :-| You don't like them, don't build them. I am all for freedom as you know so I just abide the contest rules, thats all !! I don't get the small MOC, what is that 16x32, 12x4 and what have you !! And Sinner I am like you for fun and free so I don't see what you guys are pissed about overlapping, isn't that freedom after all ? *yoda*

I think its a bit better than that ;-) From my understanding, the Ambassadors were a great help in giving us great sets (castle) and Ambassadors are AFOLs ;-) So in that way we are significant !! Lets not forget TLC quoting us in that SW presentation + all the AFOL based sets !! *yoda*
