Dear Old George did a great job at the time, but he really scewed the OT (even worse than the 1997 edition!!!) So if someone else do the movies, that's oK :-D (as long as we have the movies)!!

At the time of the movies, there is momentum, that's for sure (especially for eps I, II & III). But after that, there will still be momentum when the DVD of ROTS comes out, then when they will make the first trilogy with the same packaging as the OT... Unfortunatly, Lucas won't do ep 7->9 (too bad because the stories are really interesting!!!).

So Jipay, what do we know (for sure) so far? I am a little confused with all those assumptions *wacko*

Come on guys, you can say it now: the best line ever IS clickits :P (I can hardly wait for dinos though!!!! :-D ) Really the best line EVER is SW!! The minifigs are just amazing and the ships are really great (especially after TLC redesigned them). I guess that I will always remain a big SW fan all the way :-D I really got a problem for the rest: city, designer and I'm sure Vickings!!!!!

Jon: SW has been around nearly 30 years, that's something so basically who cares if there are SW sets without any movies!! So TLC should keep this license and dump the others (too bad though!!). Bloody Jay is right: I don't see where we are going with that regional BS. It could really annoy (I'm being polite here :-D ) lego fans from all the different zones. I love this theme but g I can't get here (yippyyyyyyyy)

What about country managers? I know in France there's a manager France and the same for most countries. But how is the decision process done? Is there like a kind of vote between all the european managers to see what sets do come out... (with the final decision made by Denmark?). Well lets all hope the financial report for 2004 will not be bad (or too bad!!). I guess, after its released, we're going to have a clearer view of what the future holds! Keep your fingers crossed ;)

What do you mean snefroe1 by regional? Europe, US, Asia... This kind of make sense due to market differences, but it will be kind of weird if the US have "better" themes than the europeans (and vice versa). Vickings vs Dinos, no questions, but after????????? I sense we could gain money on ebay :-D :P

Indeed *satis* Don't get me wrong wolf04, I really love the Ferrari team, its just for the past couple of seasons there was no competition whatsoever. This shows how Ferrari is the best team ever!!!!!! I kind of think that it would be nice for Renault (who brought up all the major technical changes in F1, like the V10...) to do really good this season (1 or 2)!!! Anyway with Jean Todt in control of Ferrari, France wins :-D :P

If TLC wants to end the SW licence, TLC should finish big, real big and give all the SW fans ou there a lot of sets until the end 2006. Without going to all the characters (which is impossible anyway), a lot of important scenes are missing, and they could redesign a couple of ships... Anyway, SW made me plunge into Legos (after a couple of years of abstinence :-D ), and I will definitly not stop because of a licence non renewal ;). Oh well, lets hope for the best (if its not like the crappy dino line :-D ).

This week-end we did not see a lot of red ;) , but more yellow and blue( tks Renault :-D )

I would still say keep the SW licence: there are so many sets that can be done!!!! (especially OT sets, and expended Unvierse sets) I would think its strange for TLC to turn its back on the "real" SW OT hardcore Lego fans!!! For the other licences oh well too bad!!! Anyway there are so many things and worlds to explore for TLC to keep regular Lego fans and attract new others!!! I wish they woul do a new "divers / underwater treasure hunters" (but do not get me wrong, regular divers and not some sort of Alpha Team dudes!!!!!) with an old sunked gallion (...). I also wish to have a new Pirates line and a lot of more city sets (restorants, shops...) Wait and see what the future is :-D

This new TLC strategy is somehow bugging me regarding SW. How many of you, dear members, started to buy Legos again in 99 BECAUSE of th SW license. I'm sure quite a lot. So I guess that "this is the end, beautiful friend the end" (RIPJim)!!!!

I doubt it because the only interest of this set is having Obi's fighter!! But who knows!! Probably somewhere in this galaxy someone prefers yellow fighters, so keep lurcking for that someone :-D

Thanks for putting the effort of posting great pics so soon :) I really look forward to get mine (but not to spend hours of useless stickering :-D ) It will look cool next to the pit stop set. Also now I can have my Rubbens F1!!!!

Hey Matt, relax there buddy!!! The purpose of a forum is to express and share our thoughts (good or bad) on TLC products or licences. If #legofreak doesn't like HP, no need to be aggressive about it. I guess the only reason for stickers is cutting expenses *devil* Its stupid because first, they are a pain in the neck to place correctly, and second, I wonder how long they last!!! Please TLC, stop stickers!!!

The problem sam is that it will not come in its box: there'll be one box for the whole set (like the tie collection). However you might find later on ebay just the Obi's craft with a copy of the building manual (that happened with the original OT Y-wing set). However, the price was pretty high. Good luck for your quest!!

Way to go selder. It would be really great if you could take pictures of some nice details that they wouldn't show on the box ;)

Also they are smaller than the revisited X-Wing!!!! Not easy to fit 3 Snowspeeders, 2 X-Wings and the Millenium Falcon!! A couple of Jedi Starfighters could be nice. Too bad that Anakin's one is not all black!!!
