To pursue on this topic, I would say that a review is one's view/interprettion of a set. Therefore, I don't mind a couple of reviews on the same set but those reviews need to reflect the member's personnality !! We don't need the same pic posted like 10 times of one minifig (...). The personnality is reflected by different points such as: * personal written comments, ideas, humourous thoughts... * clear pics taken from different angles * emphasis on different details / aspects of the sets... I think what comes to mind when wanting to express thouhts/share pics on a set is this: do I want to do a full extensive review (which is a lot of fun but time consumming - taking pics, chossing pics, sorting pics, uploading pics, creating the written part of the review and deeplinking pics to go with the text) or do I just want to add something to an existing review ?? Be creative and please do take good & clear pics, especially when you post a couple of hem in a review ;-) *yoda*

My dear Chewie, Your model looks great !! The Mirage 2000c represents the French aeronautics/military pride *sweet* For those who do not know this slick fighter here are some shots: Chewie, your pics do not do your model justice, could you please take some sharper and clearer pics please !! Tks so much in advance ;-) Fly On !! *yoda*

The way to make reviews is so different from a member to another member !! What I like in reviews are clear pics showing all the nice details of a set, and the builder's opinion on the set (fun comments, serious thoughts...) You guys can go and comment on the modifications I did tou our nice little Crawler ;-) For the members who haven't seen the mods, I closed the walls and added a tiled interior !! You can view it here !!! Review On !! *yoda*

Happy to oblige to your request my friend from the north ;-) Close On !! *yoda*

Finally our dear L2K overcame his laziness to gratify us with a great review :-P ;-) Really neat review L2k :-) I really love those racers for parts !! I never build any because of all the stupid stickers !! At least during the first wave of racers, some parts were printed ;-) Play on !! *yoda*

Hum, I am not sure what to tell you here Brickster. Better in terms of what ?: design, scale, MFs wise, playability and what have you !! I think those two sets are among the best OT SW sets !! TLC really does an excellent job on the bigger and much more expensive sets: look at the AT-AT, the Falcon2, the Crawler (I know some peole dislikes it), ISD ands Sailbarge. All amazing models (I'm only guessing so far for the SailBarge because the number of stickers will probably aggravate me a lot !!). Yes I can, and tks for using the wacko sign to ask questions :-| Book 1: n

Great review of the set Chris ;-) The model looks better than I originally thought !! Also, its a great parts pack: it has a great selection of yellow parts and slopes, computers and trans clear chefs hats *sweet* I do concur with you on Plankton: its really bad, bad, bad >:-( TLC's policy on stickers have always annoyed me, but placing stickers on 3 parts is just stupid and wrong !!! And the playability additions are quite nice actually. I am pleased to see yet another "shooting device" in a set :-D Well in that case its understandable (unlike in the new ISD) IMO. Those chefs hat really have a second life tks to Spongebob hehe: pink they are jellyfish, clear they are bubbles hehe. Also Chris I love your little comic at the end, its ingenious ;-) PS: added to the Nick Index ;-) *yoda*

xwingyoda replied to Hobbes's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
Hehe joining the dark side of the brick with NO use of jedi mind trick is really impressive X-D ;-) !! Glad to see another spouse joining the hobby of Lego and its sorting parts, builing neat stuff... Watch out Hobbes, next year she might want to sort and build some UCS Deat Star or ISD ;-) *yoda* -

Nope, officers do not carry guns !! And to be precise threre is only ONE officer. A Grand Moff is no officer ;-) However since you like guns so much, you will be please to know that there are 4 guns in that set: 2 regular stormie guns (with a trans dark orange round brick instead of the classic trans orange) + like shown, 2 bazookas (with trans dark orange cones). *yoda*

To go slightly off topic (we really never do that, do we) a new version of the AT-ST would be perfect but a Hoth version with an extra snowie ;-) *yoda*

Yeay, really tough decision there Sam !! Those (at least for me) are the biggest most anticipated sets of this year !! (+ add the sailbarge as well !! I can't wait for a new Boba X-D :-P ). Army Building *yoda*

Sam, I would definitly recommand buying this set even if you have the UCS ISD !! Here are a couple of bullet points to why ;-) * Collectors must have all * This one has a lot of great MF that will not be released in other sets (GM Tarkin and probably R5-D5) * The dimensions make it easier to display :-D (thats why my UCS is still MISB lool) * The small features are rezally nifty and nice !! phoinix, As I was explaining in the previous paragraph this set is much easier to display !! Here are the approx dimensions: * L: 60 cms * W: 36 cms * H: 25 cms Hope this helped ;-) *yoda*

I can't tell you the parts count because in Europe they don't put those anymore on boxes which is stupid !! We'll have to wait until its on the US SAH for the answer to your question ;-) *yoda*
-
The conversion is on the other way round unfortunatly for us loool I thinks its around 100USD if I'm correct ;-) In Europe 1) the sets are a lot more expensive and 2) add the conversion problem !! I would recommand you to get it as a collector, but its really not intended for playing with ;-) *yoda*

Darn it, I just wanted to watch the pics and it says "folder not found" *wacko* Did any of you copied those pics on your hardrive by any chance ?? *yoda*
