dillthepill, I deleted your post in the entry thread to keep it solely for entries, therefore I will quote you here and try to help you just after ;-) Okie just relax for a moment, breath deeply and lets help you shall we. So what seems to be the problem here ? * Did you create your BS gallery and uploaded your pics to that gallery ? - First you need to create an account on Brickshelf or Maj.com. - Once your account is active, you need to create a folder that will host your pics (click on add a folder and select the name and categiory of the folder) - Now you are ready to "upload" pics: click on upload and you will have a box that will let you choose where are ythe pics on your hardrive. Once the pic is selected, just double click on the pic and it will upload in that folder. - repeat as many times as pics you want to upload ;-) * Once the pics are in your BS gallery refer to my tutorial on how to deeplink Please be as specific as possible so we can help you the best we can ;-) *yoda*

I really chose nostalgia over modernity ;-) I voted for 6392 because I had this as a kid and I remember the countless hours of fun I had with this set ;-) The building like you said really looked as a small town airfield which is nice !! Also I really liked those females MFs and the fact that you had one plane and a cool looking copter !! For once, I think that TLC did a great job on all the versions they produced !! However, the newer one (7892) suffers from a severe case of scaling problem *wacko* WTF those planes are that big, its just insane !! Fly On !! *yoda*
-
Dont you mean "Power Up?" :-P Oh well... same cheesy and crappy line though, so close enough :-D :-P Build On !! *yoda*

I just watched Snakes on a Plane and I have to say that I LOVED it !! I did really not expect that movie to be as crude, graphic and HILARIOUS !! I was laughing so hard during the whole movie my stomach hurts X-D Snakes do bite megablocks, megablocks and megablocks !! Crappy world filter :-D :-P Really its one of the best surprises of this year ;-) Run and watch it !! Its really freaking hilarious ;-) *yoda*

So, modern military lego is out of the picture...

Ben, On my previous post I wrote 9 because 7 US ambassadors and 2 Canadians (US/Canada beeing the same geographical market) ;-) Anyhow, I wonder how many fans do not wish the return of fantastic themes like hurm hurm Pirates and Adventurers !! I don't know how much you guys (I mean ambassadors) can influence TLC, but I would imagine a lot of you are SW fans ;-) Finally fans like me will cheer: * minifig packs !!! * PT sets So how much can we stress out that we want PIRATES, ADVENTURERS and MINIFIG PACKS like the golden age ;-) *yoda* -
I have a slight feeling your story will get very close to the length of this one. :-P ROFL X-D I think thats a bit over exagerated :-P It will only be a word doc of 2 pages ;-) *yoda*

Steve was surely a true wildlife hero ;-) No worries guys, I already did my pic for the contest. I just need to do the final touch on the story and then I'll post it ;-) I expect to post it tomorrow or friday at the latest ;-) Hero On !! *yoda*

G I tried to read the interview but that Shia (whoever it is - never even heard that name before and I don't think its a loss) dude is such a retard !! My head started to hurt after a while so I dropped it !! A real retard in action :-| G that movie sounds more and more promissing :-D *yoda* -
Great Alternate customs optimus-convoy 8-
-
ImperialJohn, That looks really amazing 8-

What torso ? :-P Its the mechanic torso ;-) Also on a side note, I tried Luke's hair but it was too "flat", the long hair really looked way better and added nicely to his character/personality ;-) And tks to all your nice comments, I did my best to capture at best Steve's great personality !! He really deserved a special homage IMO ;-) *yoda*

But the Crawler is an exclusive to SAH and very rare shops (TRU do not carry it...) whereas all the rest are "normal" sets, so I would not count on production soon of those sets (but its only my opinion). Therefore Toa, I would buy it soon to avoid any trouble finding it ;-) *yoda*
-
Come on lazy lads :-D Its time to Gear up ;-) *yoda*
-
The stock on my TRU are seriously down !! I bet that the factory only produces late '06 and '07 sets now. So all the rest will depend on stock, and when the stock is gone... Its normal because its a january set and we know TLC and their fantastic capacity to produce what the demand asks :-| *yoda*

Great History of a city layout Alex ;-) Its fun to notice the evolution with time !! One reason I don't start one is place !! I need like a whole room since city are a never ending growing story !! Sure you start small, but the urge to make it better and bigger is quick :-D One question: why did you use those crappy elevated baseplates ? (like the newer police station and hospital) ? If there are enough threads, I will create a City Index ;-) I am sure you await the '07 line ;-) Build On !! *yoda*

I just posted a Crocodile Hunter Diorama in homage to Steve !! Once again, RIP mate. *yoda*

I was really saddened yesterday to learn the unexpected and sudden death of our beloved Steve Irwin. Therefore I wanted to create a homage thread through his quotes and my Crocodile Hunter diorama MOC. As always feel free to post your comments, criticisms and thoughts. First I would like to start with that fantastic Steve quote: Now lets explore my Crocodile Hunter diorama MOC. First let me present you the cast of the show: Steve and Terri Irwin and of course Suey the dog. While Steve is out to look at the magnificent wildlife, Terri and Suey stayed in the dingy. Steve, you are already missed mate !! Once again, many thanks for your brilliant contributions on wildlife preservation and teachings *sweet* !! Rest in Peace. ;-) I shall let Steve finish this thread with some great quotes. *yoda*

So, modern military lego is out of the picture...
xwingyoda replied to Zarkan's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Hum, I am not sure about that :-| '06 was a great year for exemples: Nick licences products ONLY for the US/Canada, a Boeing sculpture plane, a christmas cheesy looking train (ok Germany is also a reason admit), 9 ambassadors out of 21 !! And the US/Canada represent a 1/3 of the world market |-/ So I wouldn't be surprised to see more US/Canada intended sets only in the future and I totally despise that !! *yoda* -

The more I think about it, the more I think that TLC opened Pandora's box with licensed weapons ;-) We might get guns and a military theme in the next couple of years ;-) They could always argue, like a lot of us, that History is past and do not reperesent modern day warfare (or something like that) - a weird way to get by the non violence policy (like the license idea). WWII would NEVER be touched: Doing some Nazis MFs and sets is something that TLC will never do. Or they could do something avoiding Germany - that leaves the war in the pacific !! That would be sweet IMO !! IMO, either TLC does some older war sets (US civil War and stuff like that) or some new nowaday sets. I would love to see US civil war sets... I am pretty sure that TLC would need to do something like that since many other toy brands have similar products ;-) *yoda* -
Looool its the first time i see someone closing his own Bday thread :-D *yoda* EDIT: Well, they have a tendency to go on forever if you don't. And really, it's a topic of interest to only one person, for only one day. :-D -JINZO

Tks guys to cut the bad humour jokes :-| Do have respect for the man for Pete's sake !! Edit: Here is such a medadtive quote from Steve: Amen to that Steve ;-) *yoda*
