I don't get your point at all Sne Sure shooting mechanisms are annoying but when they are not obtrusive I don't see a reason why we would need to whine about it for hours and hours |-/ It ads playability for kids (yes I know about the shocking truth: Lego is a toy :-| ) I don't see a problem with such a mechanism on the Tie Bomber, Slave 1, ILC, Aqua Raider big sub, Batmobile, Batwing and what have you. Shooting mechanisms on Vikings is a totally different thing... *yoda*

Yesterday and today I finished the OOT: that is SW original masterpiece without all the lucrap added in 97 and 05 Those versions are sooooooo much better *wub* True classics *wub* Oh boy Lucas did screw ROTJ !! I want to shoot him just for that !! Tks I now have the version with the "real" Emperor's voice and old DV in hologram and not that young Anie crappy prick (among other crap) >:-( And I now have the answer to my question: the Ewok cleaning the stairs in Jabba's palace in the beginning of ROTJ is original and not added material *sweet* *yoda*

Well that design really grew on me ;-) Sure the design of the ILC is "just" a bigger shuttle used for cargo and troop transport, but its still good and interesting ;-) It really fits well in the OOT (my new acronym for the "original" movies aka unscrewed versions :-P ) The Lego rendering is really great actually: it has some great parts and construction techniques which makes it attractive to AFOLs as well as kids (bombs, shooting mechanism...) *yoda*

Anyhow, I view GG and the AT-ST pilot's weapons as pure "bonuses" :-D I will not buy via BL a huge amount of new guns to go with my stormies hehe. I decided to abide by a simple principle: only the "newer" stormies (in new grey) will benefit from those guns :-P Too bad for the older ones loooool *yoda*

I agree with Natelite, I think GG has the "short gun" and not a newer 3rd different gun ;-) I can't imagine TLC producing a gun mold only for this set ;-) I mean, if TLC want to create new guns, I am so for it but it should start with: * Han's; * Chewie's bowcaster; and * Boba's Those would make my day *sweet* *yoda*

It really looks as a new one, as TT pointed out previously ;-) It definitly looks way rounder than the classic windshield. I think you are right. I assume its just to show that it moves in every direction. It reminds me of the World City Hovercraft (set 7045) which had a wheel underneath ;-) *yoda*

looool but thats a UCS :-P Me want more MF scaled Ties :-D Its also fun to notice one thing regarding those SW OT sets: there are NO well known characters which is weird !! Troops, pilots, driver and NO characters (great for us army builders but weird nonetheless). Out of the 6 january sets, there is only GG as a main character ;-) *yoda*

Yeay, I guess it will be a pain to get IF you don't get several right away :-P Its always like that in France with smaller sets and especially with SW |-/ I'll get a few of each at first and then several more during the year hehe !! So I'll probably end up with like more than 10 of each :-D Now all I'm hoping for is for january sets during the buy 2 get 3 offer at TRU in November *sing* That would help hehe. I can go with 3 sets of each looool (but not GG's fighter !!) And on a side note, I am pissed by the lack of Tie this year X-D Need a redesigned bomber shortly hehe !! *yoda*
