Wow! Tottaly awesome MOC! Very sweet Scania. The steerable trailer is great. I really love the small touches such as the Chrome on the back of the Scania AND the spare tires on the trailer!!! As with the 7747 trailer, I'm still not sure I like the minfig doors on there. I am in love with the new wind turbines/trucks etc... Vestas 4999 didn't do it for me, but 7747 has easily become my favorite set of 09. GREAT JOB

Very nice! I love the sliding doors!!! I'm a huge fan of the coast guard series. Like you said, you don't see many Coast Guard MOCs! I wish people were making more. Keep up the good work!

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. I can't wait to get this set... And along with others I'm waiting to see how it's going to spin.. Anxiously waiting to see if power functions can be incorporated.

Pretty Cool set! I'm with a few others here... not instantly in love, but I'm sure it will grow on me. (of course I'll be getting it tho)

OK, I was unaware of the promise from lego... but those should be taken somewhat lightly. No need to be sorry for the boasting! I'm quite jealous. And I also remeber all the hype when they first released the directions to 4999, so that you could get the pieces and do it yourself. I guess I'm just in for the more realistic size.

Great little set. LOVE the ice Cream!!! And the Metallic flares. reminds me a lot of 6345 - aerial acrobats

Great Review. Thanks! I have to say, I love this boat! I had the bottom half of the boat built for 6 months.... and I just got around to finishing it. Very Cool. At first I didn't add the little wheels on the bottom... but after I did, I think that's what made it for me! The boat slides around smoothly in any and every direction!

Wa Wa Waaaa.... Why so much Whining!?!?! This is NOT 4999. Am I in the dark here, or is there really that many of us that own the Vestas 4999? Just about everywhere I look it's priced in the 500 dollar range. I think this set is Awesome. Great scale for a town, although I have to agree to adding maybe a few more columns. Now that summer sets are released, I will be stalking TRU for this release!

Amazing review, great pics. I'm a city/town lover, and always have been. I have to say tho, I'm not impressed with this one at all. After the build, I had a cabin explosion as well, then the blade fell off. Tracks rolled smoothly on the bed, but not so nice on a hard surface. Guess I should have bought the farm instead!

Hey y'all thanks for the replies! I patiently await more pics of the 4031 - I know that brickshelf is pretty scarce, I've tried searching every which way. Panda - I like your cargo hold! I really like the forward design of the 4031, and the new coast guard boat is simialr, but there is just a flat base, so you can't MOC it to have a cargo hold.
