I would think there is an element of Art Deco which has blended nicely with the oriental feel. Such fusion in design can be commonly seen in Shanghai, where Art Deco was a major influence of their architecture in the early 1900s. Feel free to google " shanghai Art Deco cinema" and you may observe some similarities. Overall I like it and am definitely getting it. :)

The VW camper is amazingly detailed. Anyone knows if the van is in scale with the typical lego figures? Thanks

hi guys, sorry for this basic question as i am really new to Lego. i know about cafe corner and market street and they are both really great sets. now this green grocer is another good one. but may i know what line are these 3 sets under? i mean is there a particular theme or name for this line? i cant seem to be able to find the category under official site of lego. and i would also like to know if there are any other sets produced under the same line, cause i am sort of a completionist and would like to get the rest under the same theme. once again, apologise for this 'newbie' question. =)

Hi ppl, i am from Singapore and i am a big fan of Batman. my memories of Batman mainly stems from the animated series from the 90s and i must say the Lego Batman series is definitely a dream come true for me. Lego Batman is my intro to Lego and I have almost all the sets to this date. (besides the batmobile ultimate.) i must say this forum is a really good source of news for the Lego Batman line (even better than the lego official site?!). it is also nice to see so many collectors here and to observe your discussions. my view on the batman line released till now is that they are all great sets to play with.... However, i would prefer sets such as the Batcave and Arkham Asylum to vehicle sets. Like many here, i am really hopping for location sets..eg Wayne Manor. even a Gotham Bank robbery set with new character sets would be cool! anyway, this is a great forum with great mods, and definitely looking forward to more new updates of the 4 new upcoming sets (would still get them cause i am just crazy over this Lego line)!
