REVIEW: 850423 Minifigure Presentation Boxes
lego_legis_legere replied to SilentMode's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Excellent review ! I really like the comparisisons. According to my opinion, this set is quite poor and it doesn't even prevent dust from coming on the minifigure. The main point are the extra pieces for M.O.C. (such as windows etc.). Keep on reviewing, you make great job ! -
I want to live on a island such as this one... What a dream ! No rain, no clouds... no taxes !
-
The sled is so fun : simple, well-design, good-looking. In a word, perfect ! Good job !

Great M.O.C. ! I especially like the sphynx : you were inspired by n°5978 Sphynx Secret Surprise (one of my favorite set) did you? -

WOW... That's impressive ! You deserve huge congratulations for your amazing work. It's just perfect ! What will you do next? Keep bricking on ! -
Great M.O.C. ! What an ingenious idea to place cannons in the background for the chimney. Good job !
-
Nice M.O.C. ! My favorite part is the yellow crane : the design is very cool. Keep bricking on !
-
Nice M.O.C. ! It looks like a giant mailbox (am I too imaginative?) Can you add more details such as windows? Good job and keep bricking on !
-
Nice job ! Your hull technic inspires me (I'm working on a Black Pearl M.O.C.) and reminds me also the "Interceptor" in P.O.T.C. LEGO video game. Keep bricking it ! May the wind be with you.
-
The hull is awsome ! I feel inspired... Nice job, you made a great M.O.C.
-
The natural bridge is awesome ! It reminds an A.O.E.'s map !
-
Nice M.O.C. ! The mechanic hand is cool and I notice the geek minifigure's cup .
-
Indeed, there is such a theme, but not so developped than Blue/Red coats (no real port, only one ship etc.). The Aztec C.M.F. is very cool, but I only have two minifigures (not enough for an entire gold city).

Nice building technic ! I especially like the roof. The mix of colour is cool and the interior is well-furnished. Maybe you can add some details in the backdoor? Good job !

Modular Madness : Botanic Garden
lego_legis_legere replied to lego_legis_legere's topic in LEGO Town
Thanks for noticing my word play ! Actually it is Latin (legere "to speak" : lego, legis, legit, legimus, legitis, legunt) But it is close from Greek too, (λέγειν "to speak" λέγω, λέγεις, λέγει, λέγετον, λέγετον, λέγομεν, λέγετε, λέγουσιν). The root word is the same lego and λέγω (you can read "lego"). ---> I really like Ancient civilisations, and I can't wait for a "mythology" LEGO® theme -
Modular Madness : Botanic Garden
lego_legis_legere replied to lego_legis_legere's topic in LEGO Town
Nooo... I didn' notice ! Thanks, I will fix that tomorrow ! Thanks for your help. I will do my best to improve it : unfortunately, I don't have very much pieces at all (I recycle my sets for the contest, and then I will rebuild them). The main difficulty is the lack of baseplate -
B-OM-22D Hi ! I'm new on Eurobricks (only few month) and I started to be an "active" member only since two weeks (actually, when I finished my exams). I never made such a M.O.C. before, especially for a contest, therefore this is my first participation for "Modular Madness" in category 2. I was inspired by a small public garden not far from Strasbourg's downtown. Any suggestions are welcome. New Update : Thank you all for helping me : I modified my M.O.C. with a pathway and I fixed the overhang on the left and the right. I did my best with a limited number of pieces (I don't have any 2x2 dark bley tiles nor baseplate).

Great M.O.C. ! The building is very good, but the cars are even better ! Nice work

Pirates, of course, even if I still wait for a "conquistador" theme developed by LEGO

Future LotR and Hobbit sets
lego_legis_legere replied to Darth Nihilus's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Adding sets such as 1. Minas Tirith, 2. Saruman's Tower, 3. Sauron's Tower and 4. The Shire will be, of course, a great idea ! Nice descriptions, when I read them, I wanted to buy each sets. -
Which Lego LOTR Character is your favorite?
lego_legis_legere replied to Aragorn8713's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
According to my opinion : 1. Gimli 2. Uruk-hai (normal) 3. Moria Orc Of course, I'm still waiting a second L.O.T.R. wave with Sauron and Gondor knights -
Nice building. Keep on making M.O.C. such as this one !
-
I made some new M.O.C. with a very limited number of pieces (only present in Creationary's box). Any suggestions are welcome (my best M.O.C. with a Creationary Game are here). Police car A.T.V. Combine harvester

Nice job ! I especially like the monitor, the tower (they are well-designed) and also the chair (which is cool too).

You made a very stunning M.O.C. I like it ! Nice job !
