  1. I find that an Inika shoulder pad works extremely well at replicating the new CGI design of the MTIS seen on the backs of the heroes in Breakout.
  2. Hasbro version=$#!T Lego MOC=..........Awesome, for some reason

    VOLTRON

You know you have too much time on you hands when you can build Voltron in LDD. Image I just wish they had the bigger sized wing piece. The small ones don't really scream Black Lion to me.
  4. To me, Bionicle/HF parts work for Bionicle/HF, not human characters such as GL, Batman, Samus, etc. Galidor-like parts, however, did work well for human characters, thought the hands could've been molded better. As I said before, both lines are equal in and of their own theme. And remember, the Galidor figures are based off the show, not the other way, as it was a liscensed theme. Bionicle was a pure idea from the people at LEGO and nobody else.
  5. Hero Recon Team was a great "sub-line". And only after 1 year it goes under? I thought it was doing well? Why did lego shut it down? My overall question, and feel free to add a poll, should Lego reboot HRT before it's too late?
  6. Speaking of "French Phantom", great name btw, how did Mark Hamill go from one movie hero role to doing tons of villains?
  7. Allow me to rephrase the point I was trying to convey to LewiMOC. I think a ratchet joint system, such as that used in the Galidor line, would fit a Samus Aran figure better then a ball joint system. As for this poll.....to me it's a draw.
  8. Yes! The HF building system is good for HF, but it doesn't sit well w/ me for a Samus figure. I prefer pieces like those from galidor because they don't have the major problems, such as the un-armored back, that the HF system does. Sure, the show was crappy but the figures LEGO made were actually pretty good.
  9. Nice. The color and design are spot-on. But if LEGO were to make a Metroid line, I'd prefer it to be more like the Galidor line.
  10. Nice pic LewiMOC, but I've seen it elsewhere already. And no quoting Jaller. Also, a huge tub of all types of HF parts like that would be AWESOME.
  11. Any chance you based this off of the Visser 3 Inferno Creature from the Animorphs toyline?
  12. Anime/Manga is AWESOME! WHat's your fav category?

  13. Takua Nui's right. A normal human hand has 15 points of articulation excluding the wrist. Your MOC only has 10 of those 15.
  14. *jaw drops* Wow!
  15. No joint problems with the bone pieces in mine. I'm not removing his head though....AT ALL! Given it can still break cuz lego kept the old socket. Same w/ all other sets w/ glatorian heads and Toxic Reapa's feet: once they go on, they ain't comin' off.
  16. "Maternity leave" means she's either pregnant or has already had a baby and can't work w/ the band right now. She's not dead.
  17. So faf, "Breakout" is only one episode. It's split into 2 separate videos on Lego.com but it's all one 45 minute video on the Nicktoons website.
  18. In regards to the end of the episode, 2 things: 1. VON NEBULA IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2. How did he get out?
  19. in show Stormer is the same height as the rest of the heroes, so no, the set will not fit on the Furno bike.
  20. Thelonious Fox used to be part of a standard Hero team, but when he/she joined recon team they "mysteriously disappeared" and weren't seen at the factory anymore. Heroes Carter and Flint have no idea what happened. Fox was on their team before joining Recon Team. Need I also point out that Rocka still is a rookie hero?
  21. Rocka on Recon Team? Unlikely.
  22. There's already a Hero Factory 2012 topic. Somebody close this.
  23. Looks really good. I may actually try that.
  24. OMG, the engineering of those legs is just awesome! Nice work.
