  1. Damn that's well made, i prefer my steak medium-rare so.... xD
  2. well if you look at the pic of grogall, all the buildings have their windows on the same height, Fire Brigade is something else in my opinion because its a fire station with a rather large garage in it. but if you place Green Grocer, Grand Emporium, Cafe Corner and Pet Shop, you see that the floors are all around the same height, and with the Town Hall its just that bit higher, i don't like that very much, the difference between heights of the building is of course normal in real life/ but it's also part of my personal preference that i rather see the windows line up a bit. And yes i live in the south of The Netherlands as well, just north of Maastricht so i can go to there and i have many examples of the things i mentioned above, go to ''de Markt'' in Maasticht or look at the buildings along ''het Vrijthof'' in Maastricht and you see most buildings have their floors on the same height
  3. i know your feeling, i missed out on Cafe Corner and Market Street, and i once found a Cafe Corner for 250 euro's and was happy to pay it but then the seller said he only wanted to ship it with the mail, and that is something i DON'T do i its more than 50 euro's. and i might one day buy Cafe Corner with bricks but its not the ''Real'' thing for me then, so im stuck with not getting it or with building it from loose bricks...
  4. Well with larger i mean larger in the width not height, but i get your point and it makes sense of course, but one thing i still dislike is the fact you can see so obvious that the floors dont really match up with neighbouring buildings its not very logical i haven't seen buildings where one building has the windows on that height and the building next to it has them 1,5 meters higher for example.
  5. I've got an Emerald Night and i'm glad i bought it but something i still wonder about is why did Lego put one passenger car in the set, now it looks like a disabled train (i have nothing against disabled ppl etc etc)
  6. This is insane, the amount of detail :| its to much for words to describe it.
  7. Nice, i like it, now i have an idea for those rather old parts like those wheels with the red in them, just a black brick on them.. why didn't i come up with that
  8. I love it, but one question, how many hours is in that ? :| too bad you have to destroy it to build new things but that problem is something i think everybody has.
  9. Stein in the weekends and Leuven - Belgium during the week, yeah i'm a History student at the University of Leuven. So i understand there are more Limbo's around here ?
  10. OMG, that's huge and crowded, I would prefer a bit less crowded but its still one hell of a collection :| nice job.
  11. one word: Awesome That is just incredible, with that slope :| ... I wish I could make stuff that awesome
  12. Hmm i don't know .. the Town Hall looks kind of ok, but i would prefer stairs above an elevator, or both. And for a Town Hall I would expect it to be double the size, maybe if i ever got enough money i will buy 2 of them and make on both sides in the same style a 16 stud side building because in my opinion a town hall has to be a bit larger than the buildings next to it.
  13. WOW, that's nicely done, makes me want to make something similar.
  14. Hello my name is Stefano and i live in Limburg, The Netherlands I am 20 years old and have been creeping around this forum for 2 years watching the great MOC modulars you guys make, and now i have finally created an account. I have always liked lego, there where a few dark years but since the Lego modulars came out my interest in lego has increased, i missed out on the Cafe Corner ( no money and parents would not lent me some money -,-) and the Marketstreet, but i bought the rest of them and i am trying to find the other 2 for a decent price, and i know that's impossible. My other interests in Lego are mainly City and Trains. Questions ? ask them :)
