ended up showing my girl Snatch and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels the other day in preparation for Guy Ritchie's newest film The Man From U.N.C.L.E. somehow I had never shown them to her before so it was time for the tiniest of marathons.. it was a splendid evening full of bare knuckle boxing, dags, caravans, diamonds, high-stakes poker, muskets, and general thuggish shenanigans. can't wait to see his newest film this weekend.. |Tarfful

I would've, but it was already guessed by rodiziorobs by the time I checked back. duly noted for future reference. though it probably just makes guessing easier in retrospect haha.. you are correct, rodiziorobs. your go! Crimson Peak is Guillermo Del Toro's new flick coming to theatres this fall.. [October 16th in the US] just a by the by. |Tarfful

this screenshot is from a film that has yet to be released, if that's deemed uncouth I shall gladly swap it out. anywhat. here ya go ~ clickity clack |Tarfful

Battle Beyond the Stars? |Tarfful

ahh... I misinterpreted his intentions then. my apologies. carry on with the guessin' ~ |Tarfful

boop. this post was apparently out of turn. as you were. |Tarfful

tis always easier to "guess" when your picture is a link to a site giving away the title of your film.. not to mention that the title is also in the address.. |Tarfful

Tom Waits is one of my favorites, even if he is the devil. > O |Tarfful
-
the name of the film was in the URL of your link.. > O 'nd how this game works is the person who guesses correctly gets to post a picture, not whoever wants to post a picture.. therein lies madness. so c'mon down, Corweena! it's time to post a pic :b |Tarfful
-
my apologies for the bump. it's still your turn robuko.. unless you'd like to forfeit 'nd let somebody else take a stab at posting a pic. |Tarfful

local co-op will be included in the game. > O also. the ability to switch in-between 3rd 'nd 1st person views, just like the first two. seems that they're listening well enough to me.. it's hard to please everybody I suppose.. nothing is ever as perfect as nostalgia makes it out to be. |Tarfful

it is true that the BARC is one of the most powerful speeders in the galaxy. they were used to escort LAAT/i's from time to time 'nd such. I dunno what that point has to do with the scale you used all the same though... 'nd it's not like LEGO is renowned for getting scale right with pretty much anything within the SW universe, but hey, when it comes down to it ~ all that matters is if you are satisfied with your creations. I didn't know that that part was only available in old light grey.. huh. I appreciate your honesty about your laziness haha.. I can definitely relate to that as well > < your 74-Z 'nd Droideka are also very lovely, just to let you know. mayhaps consider making some brick-built figures to accompany your creations? I dunno.. it's just rather distracting to the eye.. makes your minifigures look extra small. anywhat. tis all just my opinion, as long your bricks make ye happy, keep doing what you do. |Tarfful

rushed? SW: Battlefront has been in development since mid-2013.. 'nd it's true the number of planets availabe to crush the Rebellionon is vastly limited (for meow anyway), but at least there will be multiple locations on each planet. I know a lot of the interweb has been bitching about the lack of inclusion of space battles or PT timeline, but honestly, the OT is Star Wars.. and the ability to have dogfights in an atmosphere setting like in BF1 more than makes up for the lack of space battle IMO. [i always found them to be a bit monotonous / boring anyway.. but hey, that's just me.] |Tarfful

The Departed ~ the last mafia flick Scorsese directed. 'nough said. Raising Arizona ~ Nick Cage's best film, in my humble opinion. Benny & Joon ~ a quirky romcom wonderfully executed. watched in that exact order last night.. all classics in their own right, an enjoyable evening it was. |Tarfful

it is indeed The Adventures of Baron Munchausen! one of my absolute favorite Gilliam films.. your go, robuko! |Tarfful

this post is just ridiculous. or rather your rational anyway, 'jus sayin'. I believe that Han 'nd Chewie stand a good chance of not making it through the next trilogy, but I think that that will have more to do with Harrison Ford's hatred for his character over anything else.. 'nd really, what's one without the other? there is definitely not going to be space battles in the upcoming rendition, however hero classes will make a triumphant return. I'm moreso worried about the limited number of locations announced so far. 5 planets including the first free DLC of Jakku is not even close to being satisfactory. 'nd haha > < yeah.. tis a sad micro-transaction ruled world we find ourselves living in these days, but hey, what're ya gunna do? anywhat. hopefully actual in-game footage will be released soon!on a side note ~ FinalFeature, your LEGO-ised trailers are pretty darn spot on.. especially considering how quickly you're able to upload them. bossanova. |Tarfful

hello and welcome to EB, LegoPercyJ! like others have said before me, your introduction topic isn't really the best place to showcase your creations. your Percy Jackson inspired MOCs would be right at home in the Special LEGO Themes forum > O 'nd if you have any questions or concerns make sure to check out the EB FAQ page, it should clear any confuzzlement right up. |Tarfful

hey, we were all noobs once, I'm just lucky enough to be one eternally I guess > O anywhat. welcome to Eurobricks, lilbrickster! make sure to check out the site rules and guidelines and you should be just fine! here's a quick link to the EB FAQ page which should help immensely with any questions or concerns you might have. |Tarfful

I'm going to go ahead and echo IronFish and TheRacker about the scale; this thing is massive for a minifigure to be piloting. it would seem that, if anything, a Technic figure would be much more at home [and to scale] piloting your BARC speeder.. the only other thing that stands out in a somewhat lackluster fashion is the slight mixing of old light grey with new light bley parts, but hey, I can completely understand having a limited number of bricks to work with. 'nd as far as I can tell it's only a couple of pieces anyway. overall tis a lovely rendition of a BARC speeder, just a wee bit over sized for a standard minifig. thanks for sharing, Samppu, keep on creatin'! |Tarfful
