Results of Round 4 of Criminal Battle Atramor Gibbin - Remedy on Alexis En Sabah Nur vs. Criminal Thug A - Great Spell (Earth) Damage Alexis Fenral vs. Criminal Charmer - Aim Namyrra Uq vs. Criminal Thug A - Blind Alexis Fenral vs. Criminal Charmer - Summon Ocven the Ice Dragon Ocven vs. Criminal Charmer - Spirit Attack Alf Gregory vs. Criminal Thug B - Damage Ellaria Arbour vs. Criminal Thug A - Hit Atramor quickly pours a Remedy down Alexis' throat, which wakes her up instantly. Nur calls forth a Great Spell, sending a huge chunk of earth towards Thug A ([5x2]+14=24). Alexis sends another arrow flying at the Charmer, which grazes her torso (10). Thug A lashes out in anger as Namrrya blinds him for another three turns, and Alexis overflows with power again as a familiar spirit joins the battle. Ocven charges the Charmer with icy fury, causing 17 damage. Alf is cut by Thug B's cutlass (7 damage), and Ellaria finally puts Thug A out of his misery. Heroica RPG - Quest#15: Hoisting Down the Jolly Roger
JimBee replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
Hybros repeats his attack. -
Hm. Which edition of MafiaWiki is that? The one I read said that psychiatrists revert to doctors after they convert. There must have been some changes to the volume along the way... ever read Dystopia? I know a guy who knows a guy who knows the author. It had a psychiatrist/psychopath pair in it, and that's what would've happened to the shrink if he had successfully converted the psychopath. If I recall correctly, the author drew that effect from an older version of MafiaWiki. So, sorry for the confusion, I don't know what happens to the shrink if/when they convert the SK.
-
They turn into regular doctors as soon as they successfully convert the SK. That's what usually happens. I'm not defending the Freud story, I'm stating the facts for a situation in which there was a real psychiatrist. And I don't think this snake stuff makes any sense, I was referring to what you said earlier in the play. That was before this snake business. I really don't know what to make of it. On one hand it sounds like this person is just spewing crap, but on the other, who would make up such a far fetched story? I mean there's also this weird mirror cloak so why not a psycho snake? I'm neither defending nor accusing Freud, because none of it really makes sense. I'm just going to stick with my vote on Melaena for today. It's almost sunset, so maybe we could return to this Freud business tomorrow, as a possible candidate for a lynch?
-
Usually the Psychiatrist turns into a Doctor (protector) after converting the SK into a vanilla virgin. We gain a protector, but the SK turns into another target for the Cultists. Which doesn't really help us besides the fact that it would save us from the Cultists gaining another killer if the SK so chose to join them. As for Freud's story... um yeah it's whack but so is the cloak thing. In case you haven't noticed Is and Ossie live out in the desert by themselves. The heat must've gotten to them by now. That or they're growing psilocybin. That or they're possessed.
-
Er... so if they didn't tell you that they were unsuccessful... that doesn't necessarily make them guilty or even suspicious. I'm sure they would've said something had they successfully found the SK on Night 1. They were just telling you that they existed, so that must mean the SK existed. But since there was no kill, the SK must have been blocked or the person they targeted was protected. I don't know who this person is, but what they've said isn't really that suspicious if you ask me. Os and Issie make it sound like there is a set number of Virgins the Cultists must kill in order to win. I don't think they need to kill them all, and adding one by converting the SK won't change anything. Ah. So whoever tracked you... tracked themselves. Yet how would they get def in the equation? Something's not right here, I think someone must be pulling the strings. Do you have any conclusions of your own given this new finding?
-
They said that there was no serial killing last night. How would they know whether or not the killing was a serial killing or a cultist killing? Is that it? Did I get it? I can't tune in next week, so just tell me now.

Alf misses again, and Atramor causes the blinded Thug A to try to bulk up, but he is already. Amazingly, both Nur and Namrrya perform Magic Bursts. Displaying an awesome show of ground-shaking earthquakes and bright flashes of lightning, the two Mages work together to deal a ton of damage to all enemies (19+19=38 damage to all). Alexis tries to shoot the Charmer again, but she puts the Evoker fast asleep and unable to act until she is attacked or the effect is remedied. She also has a one in three chance of waking up on her own. The battle continues as the blindness effect on the Thugs wears off. [MOC] Snow Scout and Speederbike (Moodland)
JimBee replied to M<0><0<DSWIM's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Nice MOC. I particularly like the Scout trooper's head, the tooth piece really makes it flow nicely. One suggestion I would like to make is to make the handlebars bigger, mainly where the moodfig is gripping. They seem a little small for the scale, so maybe adding a 4L bar to the light fixture piece would improve that. BTW glad to see you MOCing so much lately. Looks like those CBs really helped as far as inspiration. -
That's the thing. You seemed to be supporting Patrick ever since the argument between him and Mehmet arose, and then when that sort of died out and the attention shifted to multiple other people, you suddenly lost interest and voted for a seemingly lesser threat, Ophelia. Splitting the vote more. Understandable, but you didn't seem to mind until the fight between Patrick and Mehmet has ran its course. Also, what do you mean, you thought lynches didn't count towards the scum win? A townie death is a townie death, when has that ever been different in these games... of life? No, I won't defend her, but I didn't think she was worth voting for then, and I don't think so now.

Alexis takes aim at the Charmer for 20 damage, and Atramor Mugs Thug A, causing 34 damage and stealing the same amount of gold in the process. I can go for that. Melaena has been at the top of my suspect list since Day 1. Besides the fact that she passively participates in what's going on around here (apparently I am guilty of that too ), there is one thing that caught my attention in particular. From Day 1: With a sarcastic tone, she simply assumes that I have the same strategy as Jennifer. Also notice the sudden trust in Patrick. On Day 1, we couldn't trust anyone more than another, so why this baseless, strong trust in Patrick? It makes no sense to me, and at this point I am thinking that regardless of Patrick's alliance, Malaena is sitting off to the side and fueling the fire that maybe she hoped would get Mehmet or someone else lynched. Here's my reply, after which she hesitates (whispering to her Cultist buddies, perhaps?), and ultimately ignores. Seems like a scummy move to me. So she ignores it, and finally makes this post. "I'm going to vote this person for her weirdness". Like I said on Day 1, the scum were probably splitting their votes so that when looking back at the voting patterns, we couldn't pick them out. This strategy would work particularly well in a situation such as this, where there is no majority needed, the person with the most votes is lynched. So, I will Unvote: Jennifer Taylor (Sandy) Vote: Melaena Stools (CallMePie) The reason I'm unvoting Jennifer is because her defense is solid. Particularly in her first posts, she outlines behavior that would not be that of a Cultist. I voted for her originally because it seemed like the best option at the time, and I didn't want to add to the confusion (of Jennifer, the cloak, etc.) by bringing up Melaena.
-
Oh I see. Never mind then. Would it help if I said I was innocent? I'm innocent. So now you know.
-
Yes, and I already told you that I respected your opinion (even though your reasoning is weak), and I'm welcome to any sort of investigation. I already told you what I meant: I had already explained to you what I meant here, and what do you mean by scanning for good votes? It's just been nagging me, and I wasn't online from that time until the end of Day 1. So really, there's no need to continue to poke at me in thread. What's really suspicious is not my mistake in wording back on Day 1, but why you keep pushing the subject, in private and in thread. Why do you continue to do so? I'm honestly asking.
-
What are you on? Either leave me alone or state something that holds weight. Just because I didn't come running to you wanting to spill my role doesn't mean I lurk and summarize. I'm right here if you want to ask me something or accuse me. I've placed my vote, is there anything else you wanted from me?

I wouldn't say that. I said that if you thought it was worth it, and you really were suspicious of said person, then you should reveal them. Honestly if I were a Cultist I'd just be watching and letting you lynch the wrong person (because I would know that they'd be innocent). If you don't want to reveal said person, fine by me. That time has passed anyway and I don't think I've "pushed" you to reveal anything. Like I said, if you weren't going to propose a specific person, I would have. For now, though, I'll Vote: Jennifer Taylor (Sandy) because of her strange behavior since Day 1. I think Hugh summed it up the best.

Did someone give you the cloak or have you had it since the beginning of this ordeal?

Nadir is... how you say... "all ears". Really? Let's see, Nadir originally voted for Leplot yesterday because of his quietness. Nadir explained with more detail yesterday. Then since no one seemed to share Nadir's sentiment, Nadir switched his vote to follow... you. And then you just accused everyone who believed you and followed you to vote for Patrick at that point. Sorry, Nadir now knows to not make that mistake again. And Nadir is tripping your scumdar because he did not immediately run to you to spill his role? Gee, thought Nadir was supposed to keep that a secret. Sorry, he'll try to be less scummy next time. So if you have any suspects, please share. Otherwise, Nadir has his suspicions as well. In case it wasn't clear, Nadir is willing to believe that you were framed. It seems like a likely move from the scum, especially on someone who was very likely to be investigated.
