You can also see where the clock tower courtyard would intersect the clock tower and see that the base of the clocktower is above the roof of the great hall. Not a great pic for comparisons. Will do. I agree. If you were to put some of the old sets beneath the new castle to raise it up to the 'tan level', it would look better, I feel.

Hello everybody! I'm back after a long time without MOCs, not with more games, but with a Harry Potter-themed creation I was inspired to make last night after studing Magizoology! It's Aragog the acromantula from the Chamber of Secrets and the Half Blood Prince! Most of the parts cannot be found in the colours used, but that's the beauty of LDD! It took me a while to get his size, shape and scale correct, but I'm happy with how he turned out. I felt he needed a proper model after building his newest official representation. "Go? Genaro, you put up a valiant effort but you were too badly outnumbered in the end. Very well played, both of you. Oky now has 1 win and Genaro has 1 loss. Before your next game, feel free to update your armies with any new units or vehicles that you might acquire. If Round 2 begins after the Winter wave is released, by all means add anything from those sets that can be included. I'll hopefully see both of you in Round 2. I built the Hogwarts Express from scratch along with the others, so that is complete. Hogwarts Castle will be completed when instruction book 1 is added to the site.

Yes! Don't forget about that. Sorry. When there's a lot of talk about being creatures, it's hard to pick out a joke amongst them. I'd prefer it if you included the pic when you made your character entry. It'd also be good if people put a pic of their character in their avatar or signature so that other people can recognise a Wizard Duelist around the forums; especially handy when looking for an opponent. If you look at my character's profile, you'll see I put 'Good' student next to his name to show that I'm following the 'good' wizard path as oppose to the 'dark' one. If you are unsure which you want to be when you make your character, just include the house they belong to and you can decide later. When you start picking certain spells, you'll have to pick a path. When you do, edit your profile to show if you'll be 'good' or 'dark'. Another note: when you generally propose a duel, it might be a good idea to specify what time you'll be available til so that people looking later will know if you're still around. This prevents people asking each other for duels over days at a time.

FettJango was referring to the fact that the BTL-B Y-wing Starfighter would have made a good bombing craft in Star Wars: Battlefront II had it been designed prior to the game's release. This is getting really off-topic. The majority of those Y-wings were coloured the same as the sketch above. Anakin Skywalker's command Y-wing had the colours reversed, hence the reason LEGO reversed them in the set. And please don't quote pictures, especially from the post above.

I've been treating them as Light Flesh, Flesh and Dark Flesh; three skin tones on lots of figs. Anyway, I thought we were going with Bricklink for info? That calls the colour Medium Dark Flesh.

I said you could be non-human. Sentient magical creatures like Gobins, House Elves, Centaurs, Vampires, Half-Giants, etc. would be okay. I don't thing trolls would be intelligent enough to participate in a magical duel, and I don't recall any mention of Hutts in Harry Potter.

Wow! What amazing figs! Bravo, Penguin! Madam Hooch's cloak is a simple yet effective alteration. I plan to do this with mine also. Lucius' staff is excellently-made. Narcissa looks very good, although not quite as snobby as she looks. Your Moody is much better than TLG's. Great use of the rest of the staff. He also looks a lot more scruffy now. Tonks is perfect. Great hair and torso painting. Quirrel looks so much better in a brown suit and his turban is excellent. Brilliant!

Sure, I thought about it, but LDD 4.0 might have the right part so I was just going to add it then, rather than changing the structure of the fitting.

This really shocked me! I guess magical creatures are okay, to an extent. Just make sure they're from the world of Harry Potter and are able to perform spells. No aliens or blast-ended skrewts! It has just opened.
