Drake, consider this. Hlin hired us and we haven't been paid yet. If we go against Hlin and protect the Maginastra, I doubt that he will want to pay us. Whose team would you want to be on; The noble and badass swordsman Hlin who has helped us in battle before or the evil Maginastra who tried to kill us.

These traitors have betrayed us and are working for the Maginastra. It's just me, you, Hlin and whoever our party leader is now.

Is it coming up with any errors? I used to get Error #2048. Or is it something else?

Erik decided to fight for the Maginastra and Mizuki followed him. I started a bidding auction for which side to fight for which was won by Sorrow/Syntax. Me and Erik both took mead so whatever happens in this battle is going to be very weird.

If Hlin is a captain of the town watch, shouldn't he get some soldiers to command?

I agree with Syntax. If we let every criminal have a second chance the world would be a place of chaos and destruction. Other quests have failed by letting the criminal go, so we should take him in.

That was a bit of a silly mistake. It would have sucked to be you if you lost the bidding.

I trust Sorrow to give me those things. If he does not he will have a very angry Yeti coming after him. So far the offers seem to be very even.

This is the best offer I've heard so far. unless someone else wants to make a larger offer I'm going with Sorrow.
