i think dusty should find his way to a ghost town (think about it the ultimate showdown between the phantom rider/ghost miner and dusty miller woulddusty prevail) i think lego- if they didn't want to do Wild West sets in general they could do 1800 era sets like not just in america either although knowing us (as in me since not everyones from the US here) it would be but like there could be a large eastern city from the 1800's, something that could be american civil war related would be a party in a lavish house thats celebrating the end of the civil war, tom sayer/huckleberry finn/davy crocket related,maybe abraham lincoln giving the gettysburg adress or what ever its called (i wasn't paying attenion in social studies), pioneers,wagon station, e.t.c

now i don't know all the factiods like everyone else here (i didn't do my homework :-D ) but does mega bloks :-X plastic seem like action figure plastic. the other day i was building something (i build so much its hard to remember what i build) and i was searching for a black peice and mega bloks always writes "MEGA BLOKS" on their bricks but with black you can't tell what it is. any way i found ecsactly the right peice but when i put it on to the other bricks it didin't go on so i swore and cused about mega bloks. then i thought up something, it feels like the plastic in my old batman action figures (from when i was like 6 which was 7 years ago) so i want any body's opinion what do you guys think. i also think the big thing with WW's demise and adventurers :'-( was SW. now i like star wars as much as the next person- heck i love it i own books out the wazoo about star wars, i read it everyday but kids really enjoy it including me but- like brickster said its something that will fizzle out even though i don't think SW will ever fizzle out only some of there sets like the battle packs wil. something happened the other day a friend of mine who likes lego probably as much as everyone else in this forum pulled out 4 clone and CIS battle packs and he said "do you want these for 5 bucks i have like a million of them" (i did take them cause i like the little speeders in them) but this gave me some hope that classic lego sets can come back an not just classic castle or town but pirates and WW and hopefully adventurers :-) . (woooh i'm out of breath).

yeah i just kinda thought that it was a little good yeah the arm should be more of just resting on two things so it'd be more of a older manuel gate

sure yeah i have a bunch but i want to see if i can get anymore really good figs its really hard to find indana jones sets in pennsylvania :-D UPDATE AS OF 2/9/08 i will have the first pics and i will explain the story and story for each character by this weekend since i have off of school on friday and monday :-) but i know people won't see it right away since everyones schedule's different (especialy here |-/ )

you know i think the engineer could be better i don't know how available it is but i think the engineer should be the body of Gabbaro from the adventurer amazon subtheme i always loved it.

does anybody think the gate house and gate in the new motorcycle chase indiana jones set would be a good wild west gate on like te american-mexican border what does anybody think

oh yeah i just got that set and was going to put up a pic you beat me to it :'-) yeah i used it for some of my wild wes figs i'm making when i finish i'll put them up here so you can see it. well i like it specially the head but i think the black legs aren't the best thing to put on a banker maybe like tan. i have that body and i just kept the same legs that came with it. but i really love the head nice banker brickolater i love that body too :-) UPDATE i was putting together some WW bodys i had lying around becuase i did want to add a british explorer that had moved out to the wild west for some peace and quiet american style.

You know i think the little building with the the harry potter train station can be a good WW building. It could be a good post office, train staion {duh}, or union army outpost e.t.c.

no i was just saying that i like that set but classic WW sets are still awesome. :-) besides your gravestone MOC's are way better no offense brick miner

i am going to have to agree with starwars4J he has some good points {especialy about the fleshies :-X } but i also think that the revolutionary war would sell great in the US i don't know about britain. But civil war would be really dangerous territory since thats still a very controversial issue today so great idea but just a very small market

good idea about using the tricorner and bicorner hats instead of the cowboy hats they stink :-X but i really love your fort *wub* i mean its alittle small but that doesn't really matter i really love the little watch post out front great adition *y*

yeah the railroad station was alot more real in the way of sets that lego could do. i like ghost town and the saloon but lego would never do saloons or if the did it would really have nothing cause alot of the times TLC seems to want to aim for little kids. i do though like all of them. *y*

thats a great idea that TLC could do *y* but only time will tell

i voted for weapons wagon 1 becuase that was the only WW set i had :'-( and 2 you get that cool covered wagon thing but. I was kinda in the dark ages when WW came out. But from the pictures i've seen {like on ebay trying to get all the sets from there becuase i've seen like 10 lots of WW guys} and stuff i've heard sounds like they were all pretty good :-) i don't think that lego will every make wild west sets again cause now kids can go out to the video store and watch some horribly wild west film with profanity every ten minutes :-X and stupid action. But i would love to see it come out now i mean they really have come a long way since the WW line think of all the new peices and guys that could come with it. *y*

That picture with the phantom rider with the scythe is very cativating like phes says i like that way instead of the way that TLC did with the castle scythes. They were to big to cartoonish but you captured the real lego way.{i didn't know i could sound like an art critic}

good point about the colorful and junorized *y* i think it would be cool to see it a little more military. But lego trys not to do that. I bet you when these come out people might make MOC's like that i've already started to ponder some ideas {that isn't colorful and kiddie} i'm not to fond of the truck in the mission one but the jet is cool for trying not to be militaristic. snow thing is a little over poweredbut everybody likes that chainsaw arm. man who would have thought TLC would have done that. Mobile base is really reallly big but very realistic for a lego truck. i don't know about the car. the jungle thing is cool that little peice there using for the pistol is very new i got a couple in the star wars MTT they were for the destroyer droid.

i see what you mean but some of the weapons are from batman and those people didn't think were violent. Same with star wars the new sniper is in the jet truck chase thing and people didn't think star wars ones were voilent. Although maybe something about the story will change peoples minds. like thier laser guns instead or somethan.
