  1. Oh, forgot to mention, you can view the gallery by clicking the pic :)
  2. I was originally working towards building the Didact, but I thought a standard Promethean would be just fine. A high ranking one, though. :P I first built it, then spent 2~ hours painting it. To view the full gallery, click on the pic! Feedback is appreciated! :D
  3. Preparing some Bionicle MOCs for Brickfair NE!!! :D

  4. Thanks for the feedback everyone :) Per requested, here's a pic without the visor. Note the stuff in the back are NOT mine, just saying.. Also added the photo to the main topic :) Thanks! I know, it's just my first attempt. Sorry for all who were looking for a better review!
  5. Set Name: Bulk Set Number: 44004 Price: $9.99 Pieces: 50 Year of Release: 2013 Bulk and his package! Picked Breez, Rocka, and him up when I went to the local LEGO store today. I still don't see how a drill with a wimpy flick-fire missile will do you any good against bugs that want to eat your brains, or even how they have brains, but whatever.. So now, onto the parts! At a total of 50 parts, he beats Breez by 1 and Rocka by 7. So if you're looking for the one with the best value, Bulk is your best choice. His four trans-orange/red-ish armor pieces are probably my favorite part of the set, along with his visor and mask. His part selection is by far the best of the three, due to a few facts; He includes more trans elements, more pieces, and such. EDIT: Per request, here's his head! It's quite nice. He looks a little mad though.. :P [And the stuff in the back is my brother's, not mine.] The build itself wasn't that bad. As you can see, not a very complex model either. My only complaint on it would be the fact that there aren't many new parts. Let's go on to the ratings.. Playability: 7/10 Value: 8/10 Last Look: In the end, it was a great purchase. The piece selection is quite great, and the model really seems to flow. I love the new head design and Bulk's mask. Not at all a fan of his shield holder though. Not the best review of him, but it's my first review.
  6. Thanks! Glad you like it!
  7. Eh.. More of blue, but here's what I did to it
  8. Yeah, it would look more like Maesltrom if the colors were that, but I didn't have nearly enough purple for that head. Though, that'd look pretty darn sick if it were purple! Maybe so. Thanks! Yeah, the body and legs were the worst, easily. I had no clue what to do for the chest, so I kinda gave up there. The legs.. I reused them from another guy I made, so, not really too fond of em. Thanks all
  9. Well, I don't do too many Bionicle MOCs, or MOCs in general, but here's one I did today! Got really frustrated with the chest, as I couldn't find what would work, so I just went with this design. Anyway, there's a whole bunch more pictures and a better description here; http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/341417 All feedback and constructive criticism are appreciated! [My first MOC on here ;) ]
  10. I'm in. An excuse to build more!
  11. I would want the Message Intercept Base [set #6987] Brickset listing
  12. It does have some similarities, but it's not the same in most ways. I never said it was completely the same, so please don't twist my words. And yes, it does look more like the picture he posted.
  13. Well that's funny, it resembles my property from LEGO Universe that won the Spooky Building challenge last October. Anyway, I'm loving it, probably one of the best building sets I've seen in a while.
  14. LU was the best game ever. I thank you for your awesome contributions to that game.

  15. Looks interesting, I may enter.
  16. I'm going to also note that I'd like a CIS insignia.
  17. Wow, now that is awesome Eh, I guess. Thanks for the feedback, though!
  18. Ok, I added a pic to my reply and a pic on my topic. Sorry about that!
  19. Yeah, I should. Thanks, glad to hear it! Yeah, it's simple, but the structure of the thing is supposed to be simple. It would be a whole different story if I build a minifig-scale one.
  20. My entry can be found here.
  21. For the Phantom Menace Community build, I built this. I was really fascinated by the C-9979 Landing Craft, so that's why I chose it to build. What do you think of it?
  22. Sign me up! No clue what to build yet, but I'll figure something out soon.
  23. I've always looked at Brickworld and Brickvention, and I thought why not have one in Boston, MA? Big city, and Massachusetts has LEGO fans too, you know! So I was wondering if anyone wanted to set-up an event for 2013 in Boston, and I'd be willing to help. I know, I should just travel to an event, but I think Boston deserves an event for itself. In the comments, please tell me your thoughts on this.
