OK, so maybe just the Gelu-Fero battle and the Gresh-Gelu conversation I mentioned earlier. -

OK, didn't see that coming. Well, just the first few chapters and the Gresh-Gelu conversation at the Vulcanus Inn, then. -

I got Gelu last night. Even though he's an Inika clone, he's a good-looking one. He's my favorite 2009 set now. Having Gelu makes me want to read Raid on Vulcanus so much, which is impossible here in Vietnam. So if you guys don't mind, can anyone post a few chapters from the book here? Just ones that mainly talks about Gelu in it. -
And also revealing what would happen to Tuma later.

Apparently, Greg won't answer any movie questions until after its official release date.

That is so wrong. I don't even know what to say. -
C'mon, it wasn't that bad. It's pretty funny. I sent Greg some questions. Hopefully the extended ending will be canon...
-
Wow, the movie has only been out for a few days, and DVDRip downloads are all over the place! I've seen the intro. Other than the fact that it's mostly non-canon, it's pretty good. EDIT: A video hosting site (not Youtube) had the movie, and guess what? It was labeled with Mature content. I was like, "WTF!?!"

Yes, it was posted in the BZP talkback. Although the comic was awesome, I could use some bigger scans. And scans of the ads too. And big props to Mhan for the MN poster. Man, it makes me wish Mata Nui had used a sword and Thornax launcher in the movie instead. -
Poor Skopio... Oh well, better be prepared for "Skopio died to save Mata Nui and the Glatorian!".

You know, the more I look at Mata Nui's movie sword, the less it looks like the titan's. For some reason, it looks more like the Vorox tail with the silver hilt. And that "canyon split" move was awesome. Mata Nui has officially made his first kill: a giant Skopio with energy Thornax launchers. I'm thinking the Skopio has implants. -
So, now that some has seen the movie, anybody mind PMing me a summary of everything in the movie?

New comic is out. It includes some scenes from The Legend Reborn. Waiting for scans... -
Vietnam. I was hoping it will be released soon too, but then I realized that I'd be getting a bad-quality DVD with Vietnamese dubbing. That's why I often search around the Internet for some DVD-Rip movies with English subs. Vietnamese dubs are horrible.
-
Still, is it okay if you can share movie spoilers/download links through PM? Because it would take like 2-3 years before the DVD is sold in my country.

That was the most epic BIONICLE movie trailer I've ever seen. Still, "Spiky Thornax Launcher" bothers me. And it seems like Tarix and Vastus will get a weapon upgrade as well. -
For those who don't know, Amazon has a new trailer, showing robot Mata Nui and some MU residents. With a cameo by Stronius.

Sneak peek 6 is up! And it continues from sneak peek 5! YAY! EDIT: Boy, Rock Steeds are smaller than the set version. They're only horse-sized. -
Tarix and Cendox V1, please.

Review: 8995 Thornatus V9

This is one awesome vehicle. It is one of my 2 favorites, besides Cendox V1. Just wish this thing was a bit cheaper, though... -

Update from Greg: 1) I never said Thornax do not appear in the film at all. What I said was their appearance in the film is minimal, because the design was not finalized when we were working on the script, so they were basically thrown into the story at the last minute. If you check the trivia for the movie on imdb.com, it says essentially the same thing. 2) In the comics, though, Ackar always has the sword he winds up with in the movie, because that is the sword that comes with the set. It was an elementally powered weapon to start with, it simply ran out of charge tens of thousands of years ago. 3) ANN-gahnts (pronounced like "fonts") 4) I don't plan to, no. ROTGB will end the way it was always planned to, and so with EOS. I choose how many parts they are going to be, it's not mandated for me. -
From what I can see, Thornax launchers seem to shoot energy rather than Thornax fruits. Which is kinda disappointing. And there's a new arena match: Tarix vs. Vastus.

You know, there's actually an explanation to the whole "Glatorian weapon canonical" thing. Remember back in the first 2 movies, when the Toa store their weapons on their backs, the weapons simply disappear. Greg said it's just a movie thing. Maybe the Glatorian weapons' original non-elemental form is also a movie thing, to show kids the upgrade. In reality, Mata Nui simply charged the weapons with elemental powers. Of course, that's just my opinion. I'm gonna ask Greg about this. -

Still, I'd like to see Gresh's blades in its original non-elemental form. -
