I went to go pick up the fun house but it was gone =( Of course after me saying that. I picked up the cat woman set though. Prolly go back for another one or two later.

Personally, I prefer the hp troll. It just looked more LEGO. The fantasy one looks like play mobile, or some fisher price toy like imaginex. Which do you prefer? NOTE: I may just be missing it, but I cant seem to find the "poll" option...

I forgot to add the Pharaohs Quest to my list. I REALLY want those Anubis warriors. And the sets have a lot of pieces useful for my builds.

As kids we don't really seam to plan ahead. I had 2 of the Inns, at the time I wished I hadn't missed the falcons fortress.

Agreed. I do wish I had snagged the original batman sets, especially the arkham asylum and the scarecrow set. =( Its sad that the hp sets will be coming to an end, really one of the better themes ever! Maybe it will continue on like the star wars sets have?

Personally, I regret not collecting the original adventurer sets. I also wish I had started collecting the harry potter series when they were released, but alas, I was not a HP fan till I was quite a bit older, and the hp series was already quite a ways in. I also wish I had jumped on the modular buildings as they came out. Now I have to figure out how to convince my wife to let me spend an ungodly amount on Legos. heh. What sets and themes do YOU wish you got when you had the chance?

Purchase the available ones and hold on to em for a while. once they are discontinued, sell em for double and purchase the older ones. =D

True that, but these sets just came out! They'll be around for at least another 6 months at least.

What do you think the reasoning is for people spending so much on sets? I know the fun house is a little hard to find, but I've still seen a decent amount of them at stores.

Unfortunately I only want the set FOR the figs. I've seen cat woman with her bike going for about the same.

Aha! Now I hadn't thought of that! though it is a wonderful Idea. I was thinking mount a lego octopus in place of the head and it might make a decent lego scale cthulhu. Could also be used to make other monster, MR Hyde maybe?

Is that the same one that also has a weight lifting contest, and a gorrilla escapes episdoes? If so, a friend of mine has a VHS of that...

I'm not big on this line, besides the batman sets. But the hulk figure could prove useful with a paint job...

A Lovecraft theme would be awesome, but will most likely never happen. I would love to see a Cthulhu idol in lego. Maybe a detective theme though? A little Sherlock Holmes? That could even turn in into a late 1800's town theme, witch I would like very much.

I was thinking just that. Unless I am mistake, it looks like the ghosts have a slight hood like point towards the back of the heads. Personally, I like that they are using the glow in the dark sheet style ghosts, though I wouldnt mind if they attached the genie piece in place of legs.

this is a really creative idea. I wonder how the figs would look with the longer arms introduced in the toy story line.

My heart just skipped a beat when I saw these sets! This is frighteningly close to where my collection was headed anyways. I really cannot wait for this theme to be released.

A very small percentage of my collection is pirate(the bigger being 80's castle-knights kingdom2) I think I have pieces remain for about 2 ships from the first pirate series, and parts to the naitive island, and the pirate fort.

Both the old and the new have there pros and cons. I'm kicking myself for not picking it up at walmart while it was still on sale. (Curse responsibility!)

This is a wonderfull idea, perhaps if I will participate once I get my hands on some more bricks.
