Admiral TK has apprehended the fugitive Rebel leader Imperial Scout, and has brought the despot to the... interrogation facilities there. I hope, through various unpleasant and highly painful means, we are able to ascertain the location of the hidden Rebel base. General Windu is mopping up the remaining decedents, but is still engage at the moment. I will send a communique to Pilot Inertia who has performed admirably, and I highly recommend for promotion to ensign! I would also like to make the formal request that CM-2008 be given the advanced title of "Combat Senior Medic". I am about to disembark now, as I have reached the receiving hangar of Admiral TK's flag. My recommendation would be for you to personally see to General Windu as I will be unfortunately occupied as I help introduce that Rebel Scum to a new definition of Pain and suffering! I hope I am not sounding conceded here, but I could not have put it any better than that! A marvelous summary. And though I have not considered the Jedi Temple dilemma, it does add weight to my request. If Lego where to produce such a set, It would be staggering in cost. I doubt that the useful pieces of the set would make it worth while to break down for sale, so sellers would just pass along the 501st'ers, albeit with their, (the sellers) markup. Don't get me wrong, I would love the set, but, as I look at my own small collection, I long to do a scene reminiscent of the Emperor's arrival, except with Vader. Who knows, if this idea does work, maybe the other great Corps could get their own bp's. But it will take allot of noise!!! So, are all of you up to the challenge?

Emm... errr, why would we get that. I mean you no disrespect, but Clone Wars will dominate this year. I am even slightly disappointed because I had hoped for the Defender, but alas, it was but a moments glimmer of hope... Oh the world is but a cruel stage... Sorry digressing... I believe we will see something special for the Movie because of the exclusive Indy release. Frankly, that leads me to speculating whether Speed Racer will get props this Summer then... But, if I could pull a wild guess outa my big behind... I'd say Anakin or Padme then with that logic... Seeing as how they'll be the hot couple again this fall. I really hope all of you Euro-brothers across that big pond will get the series. My 5 year old girl is really getting excited about it! Excellent, and I do except them all, and will even include them again if they should so chose to officially endorse this drive as individuals. And to the rest of you, thank you so much for adding your support. I am so glad to see that we are beginning to make a buzz here. Just a very kind reminder, though, and partially my fault. I really want this to be about the 501st bp, and not just ep 3 or ep 2, or any particular clone or senior clone commander for that matter. And here is why. I think the 501st represents the ultimate in fandom opportunities. I would so much like to be in one of the Films, and heck, I would even settle for the TV spot. I simply love to see those guys in parades, or at premieres. I think it says allot about them and their excitement for a thing that they go out and spend allot of dough, get all stormie or cloned out, and just have a ball. Also, to serve under Vader... but... well, thats another story. I know that we could all digress on about a billion different tangents on why or what we would like, but I think that for Lego sake, ney sanity, I will simplify the request. 1 Commander like figure(Standard 501st trooper with generic Pauldron and Kama) 1 Coms guy (501st Trooper with simple neck piece akin to what the sand trooper had in the Mos Eisley Cantina's sand trooper set with a new, shortened whip antenna), and 2 standard 501st troopers with blasters A simple security check point, basically the clone bp's gun with a raise lower arm and some stanchions to keep back the dissidents. Err... You missed my point. I want an commander-ish type, for exactly the reasons you mention. If you have some extra binoculars, a kama, or paldrons laying around, so what. But I do agree that 100 Gree's would be a nuisance. Thats quite a sum of Bp's by the way. Don't worry, I do believe you got um, but are you a seller on ebay or bricklink? I am talk about us smaller tier guys that would like smaller units, hence the need for a 501st bp. Otherwise we would have to buy all the left over Rex's at $10 dollars a pop of those said sites. Not that I begrudge anyone making some dough of that. Also the reason for having this thread in this forum is that, and maybe I am wrong, but the more Star Wars orientated fans perchance might frequent here a bit more than at the embassy. But you are right that this is my official request. It also appears that their will be some down time before the next big Lego revelation, which has lead to a lot less chatter on this forum. This too could be con-strewed as my effort to bring something else to the table to talk about than just merely speculating on what Lego might possibly grant us. BTW; great responses so far!

Errr... Not so important to me on this one whether they are or not. I would prefer non-cartoonish and definitely Ep III preferably, but when it come to the 501st, hell, I don't care how Lego does it. If they are some how involved in the Clone Wars, I guess Lego would be forced to go that route, but as of yet, I haven't heard nor seen anything linking them to CW. The reason I mentioned Rex is because he does appear to have blue marking indicative of his placement in the 501st.

(While on inspection, speaks with CM-2008) Interesting, I was unaware that we had cloning facilities on Carida. I was speaking of the others spread throughout the Empire we have been using to turn out Stormtroopers. It is good to get the trust of the people, but remember to trust no one. As to what you should do, I would point you in the direction of the triage tents established by the burn out husk of the Academy. A good place to start. I have authorized the deployment of 3 full bacta tank prefab garrison units to be place on Carida, but am awaiting further authorization from Lord *vader* . I also expect that Admiral Windu will wish to inspect the damages for himself, and will make addition funds available. I know it's allot to ask for you to handle these assets, but your leadership will pay dividends and lead to further promotions, possible a distinct name and rank as well.

Err... So, Tarfful, we meet again for the first time... for the last time. You are a fine edition to what makes an even better board... Hello all! Well, as the self describing title implies, I would like to make a formal request of Lego to make this all important Battle pack. Why, do you ask, am I doing it here, in this format, and on these boards? The answer is simple. I am firmly convinced that Eurobrick is now the leading front runner for where our voices can be heard by Lego. When we speak, I think Lego listens. They have done an outstanding job delivering what they can when we have asked for it, within reason. I believe that a 501st battlepack is a reasonable request to make. I propose a Commander, akin to Rex in the upcoming CW movie/series cartoon, a communications officer, and two regular infantry. I would like to see something rather simple for the vehicle, possible akin to an e-web blaster or possible a security checkpoint. Suffice to say to most people by bps for the figures, the choice of vehicle is rather irrelevant anyway. Any suggestion would be welcomed, but I hope this becomes a hot enough topic that Lego will not ignore. *edit* I'm Palin Jax, and I approve this message! ***Official endorsements: 60***

Errr... I think you'll ave to wait until Speed Racer and the umm...ahhh.... Clone Wars trailer attached to it to get a much clearer picture than whats already out there. I am so dumbfounded why Lego is keeping this so hush hush... It almost, and I implore almost, makes me consider the Death Star... Well, VBBN, so am I... not sure if that was the way Imperial Scout wanted it to go, but it ended almost as quickly as it began. As I have stated before, I will not control anyone's PC, so except for Inertia, we had almost no Imperial input. This is also the reason why Horizon was being... delayed in hyperspace, so more could come in! I hope our Rebel brothers will be gracious enough to return the favor, for us of course allowing them to complete obliterate Carida instead of what I had hoped would maybe be just a hit and run. So, hopefully, after both sides have had a bit of regroup time, and through THIS forum thread and not the TIE army thread, we can all agree on a time and date to have the epic space battle we could have and should have made this. Also, I would kindly suggest to all that we stay on slightly different story lines, as I am now suspecting the Rebels want to build up a bit, and some of us... lesser experienced guys... need to get some other rpg time under our belts before the Epic battle. Once the story lines seem to begin converging together, then we should decide, in unison, so all can be involved! So, to all my Imperial brethren, "Sorry, I have failed you"(Obiwan-ishly delivered!) Just FYI... The Empire will spin Carida... I know this is not totally how the Empire is portrayed in the movies, but I see Jax as a Piett/Jerijerod kind of Imperial. He is a black Paladin, however, so he will resort to propaganda if it will save lives.

We are in grave danger of losing not only the Academy, but also the ability to train our Imperial High Command as well. We must see to the defense of Carida! Besides, in the world of public opinion, the Rebels have dealt themselves a blow so dire that now, I question whether they will be able to draw any more systems to their cause. Once Imperial Propagandist begin to spin it that way anyway. My further recommendation is to salvation what we can here and see to the populace. This will not only strengthen the abilities of this Academy, but will bolster the commitment and resolve of our Galactic citizenry. Let Carida ring through the universe as rally cry against the tyranny of the rebellious swine. If you still wish to track them, my TAC officer predicts, with high probability of error, that their next hyperspace exit is likely Raxus Prime. What in universe that they could want there escapes me, for it is a planet of junk.
