  1. I really like the colors. (partly) I think it is very nice with the fade-over to white. The stickers on the doors do look good in my opinion. However, the oragne on the hood looks a bit out of place. I would like to see it in full black, fading to white going from front to back. And then, to make it cool the whole chassi could be in orange! I hope that it won't have an fake engine in the end, getting tired of them and it adds little to the authenticity. I see no point in sticking the tractor puller wheels on this one. It would make it looks just like an monster truck. I always liked jeeps, rock crawlers, 4x4, mud racer but at the same time I found monster trucks rather odd. Enough with the "I" - opinions! "I" will buy this set :)
  2. I don't wanna argue against you but I just never seen the tanks that far back. A few example on this site: http://www.ruraltech.org/pubs/reports/2008/log_trucks/apps/index.asp Edit: For non-logging trucks they are placed further back. I always though they moved them forward to reduce the potential of having them crushed by logs
  3. Any chance the 3rd axle on the A-model could be raised, I mean, the chassis looks very alike? I partly really like the style of the A-model but it has some (from my point of view) flaws. 1) It should be dual wheels in the back. Possible not both pair have to be. The last pair could be single and able to be raised. 2) The tanks looks misplaced, I think they should sit under the cabin and not as far back. The loggers I've seen all have had their tanks under the cabin. I usually don't moc. I build my models for fun, test the functionality once or twice, add them to the collection and then look for next interesting set. For this set I might actually moc-around a bit and try implement 1 and 2 above.
  4. I mostly like construction and truck models. But for not being a car fan I must say, the crawler actually is nice looking. I wonder about the logger, to, or not to get :)
  5. Is the 9397 officially to be the flagship model this year or is that just guessing? What about the 9398 ?
  6. Could this be a picture of the logging truck 9397 B-model? See link to this german store @ http://www.playstore24.net/LEGO/Technic/LEGO-9397-Holztransporter/?showproduct&id=68858574
