  1. The smaller footprint is exactly why I like it. I hope they come out with more split-able modulars. Oh well, to each his own
  2. You have to consider TLG's primary audience spans multiple generations for this set. I for one, am glad they are only using the classic smilies. It makes it timeless. Without minifig emotion your attention becomes focused on the architectural beauty and intricate details of the modular set. It what makes them so special.
  3. I'm voting Dump Truck because she has dumps like a truck, what, what.
  4. I can vouch for this guy. He's got an awesome classic town collection. Last November I bought Trans Air Carrier 3675 and it was quickly shipped with all parts in excellent condition. Decent price too. Definitely worth a look if you missed out on some classics
  5. I completely agree with everything you said. 1) Recycling Truck/Forklift 2) Amberlamps I'm not voting since my #1 choice is not listed.
  6. Here's a larger container lift from 7992 Don't forget smaller one's can do the trick too The forklift from 7733 is my favorite except it is a little flimsy.
  7. The only thing I'd add is a folding sign similar to the trailer in 6345. Awesome MOC. I'm really digging the gritty ghetto style.
  8. I'm definitely going to "try" to stay under budget with the bulk of purchases planned around sales and clearances. I'll let the serious AFOL's keep lego in business!
  9. Agreed, This is fantastic! This just convinced me to bricklink a Blue Grocer in the spring.
  10. The damage for 2011 is $1335 on trains and city. I'm running out of room so my budget for 2012 is $400. *Edit: I totally forgot about birthday and Christmas presents...
  11. I'd like to see pictures of "bricklinked" green grocers and corner cafes!
  12. Impressive! I really like the heavy industrial look.
  13. The only other modular that was less than 16+ was market street which was 10+. It may have a lot of pieces but the build doesn't look complicated. Wait.. I think there is an elevator! There's a set of windows missing in the back. OK Now I'm interested
  14. I agree. I like it but it seems very simple. Maybe that's why they dropped the age rating from 16+ to 14+ ?
