  1. eti, I am dead impressed with this microscopic moc of yours. It's extremely accurate when you compared it with the 10193. From the buildings to the entire set up, you have taken care of all design considerations and include it inside your design upon building. A funny observation which I have noticed. You used black mini technic part to represent soldiers, while the rest are villagers. In addition, you added a skirt for the female at their base. Overall, I love it very much! Thanks for sharing with us.
  2. Eurobricks AFOL member, eti has done an amazing exact same creation of the 10193 Medieval Market Villiage in miniature format. Believe it or not, it appears to be much compact to the real thing. Click here to discuss.
  3. Everyone, thanks for all of your kind greetings. It's indeed a nice pleasure to be part of this wonderful community and viewing at these greetings have certainly warmth my heart with joy and happiness. Thank you so much! Eh, I am not really that old unlike some of the old hats.. I am still pretty young right now, even though I am entering into the mid-20s era which could be another transformation in my chapter. Oh yes! Many many many more years! Speaking of the cakes, I am still waiting for the pictures to be send. Perhaps right now, I could plan to do some of my SW gift reviews for next month or so.
  4. I will like to inspect the mirror closely, especially on the edge at the other side side of the room.
  5. Excellent piece of creation! It look exactly like the movie scene. Very beautiful especially on the images taken. They are done and taken nicely from various angles. Good job! Thanks for sharing this with us. I am sure we had enjoyed viewing this moc of yours.
  6. *Could someone grab Dragonator?* Seriously, this makes me laugh with that loud crying baby dragon. Look at the minifig carrying that milk bottle by that cradle, it is so puny and that is so funny! Good luck in the contest!
  7. That is a very good moc. The building structure reminds me of Spongebob Squarepants though. However, this is the first time which I have seen an Orange Juice Kiosk and it is best implemented in a park or beach surroundings. Your current settings in this moc is defintely suitable for this concept. Thanks for sharing with us, and I will be looking forward to more of your town creations.

  10. Hello to all Eurobricks members and avid Pirates' Fans, With the current excitement of the launch of these Pirate sets, I managed to complete an 8396 Soldier’s Arsenal impulse set review, a month ago. Right now, I will bring again another new impulse set review which is bound to excite the pirates’ fans with this new addition to the current pirate theme. Shall we walk through the live of this lonely pirate? Name: Pirate Survival Theme: LEGO System / Pirates Year: 2009 Pieces: 17 Minifigs: 1 Price: USD$3.50, GBP 1.95, SGD$6.90 Resources: Brickset, Peeron An image of a 8397, Pirate Survival The cunning castaway Pirates have been spotted on the faraway islands. Fishermen have been sending in reconnaissance reports to the Imperial Royal Navy on a regular basis that some straggling sea rats are hiding and lurking in those areas. It’s time to discover what the essential survival kit is for stowaway pirates. Another pirate impulse set army builder, for building up more Pirate crewmembers for their menacing ships. This set enable builders to expand more of their crewmembers by purchasing more of this and adding it to your crew count. This set does not offer much building experience. Instead it offered more useful accessories and parts which could be added to your inventories. Mini Instruction Manual This is the overview of the 8397 instruction manual. As usual, this is the typical size for an impulse set built. The building process is extremely simple. Most of us should be using the box art as a good building manual instead. Perhaps, we could use this miniature manual as a mini poster for alternate usage, like what I have done, by pinning it in my office cubicle. Pirate's personal survival kit Now, let us take a closer look on the stowaway survival kit. It seemed whenever there is pirate presence, there is bound to be some loot within their possession. In here, there is an emerald and ruby gem. A pick axe and wooden box is useful for treasure burial in case the pirate has to separate itself away from its loot when the authorities are closing in. A brown flintlock pistol is essential for protecting your back. Never trust anyone, even your own crewmembers. You will never know when you are sold out. There is a warm fire keeping you warm. You can use it to grill your small fish for your daily consumption. This is how a stowaway pirate maintains itself from dying. Lastly, beware of the slithering red snake lurking around looking for its victims. The nasty lone pirate crew Look at that rugged fierce looking pirate. He does appear to be dangerous looking with that beard and moustache on his facial. With that green rag or beret looking, a torn brown open vest and shabby green pants, his attire does look awful. On the other hand, you are able to notice his anchor tattoo on the right of his chest and a rope slinging over his body. The amount of detail done onto its torso is simply superb especially the revealing chest hair. You might want to note, that this minifig's head and hairpiece has appeared in 6241 Loot Island as well. Comparison against former crew member On your right, this is your classic looking typical pirate crew which was largely available in many Classic Pirates’ sets such as 6262 King Kahuka’s throne and 6286 Skull Eye Schooner from 1992 to 1994. He has a messy brown hair, matched with an eye patch on his left eye. This crewmember does lead a hectic life. While, the current looking pirate crew offer a much different looking, especially on its facial appearance. The newer looking face, does look much unfriendly compared to the Classic looking. Despite of such differences, the point which I want to bring across is, both minifigs could be integrated as part of the pirate crew regardless of their designs. Whatever the case, these are still your pirates’ minifigs that is giving your Imperial Royal Navy a hard time. A shanty house set up? This lone pirate sure knows how to make his ideal way of camping when he is out alone. A fire pit and a cooked fish which is enough to fill his hungry stomach but not his crave for rum. How about a bottle of rum included? I am sure it is much complete than the current set up. You don’t need multiple fire pits. Eventually, this set is broken up into useful parts for future modifications and parts usage. This is a great way to garner these parts for an affordable price. What is your best buy for these precious gems? This is not one of the best impulse sets, compared to the 8396 Soldier’s Arsenal. I bought more 8396 sets compared to this. However, I will like to emphasis that this is still one good impulse set which is mainly commended for its wide variety of accessories such as the new molded fish, gems, pick axe, wooden box and an unfriendly looking pirate to be recruited into your crew. This is indeed one of the good impulse sets which you can grab without much hesitation. Summary review Playability: 8/10 (Pirate member could be use to increase the crew count.) Design: 7/10 (Firepit is extremely simple. This set has very low design attributes but offer good amount of accessories ) Price: 9/10 (Price is affordable to obtain a pirate crew plus a good range of accessories.) Overall: 8/10 (One of the best impulse sets of all time and defintely an essential one for those whom are keen to build a core pirate crew cleaning and washing your deck.) I gave it a "4" based on my Review Score Card. What about yours? Hope everyone of you enjoyed reading this simple review of mine. Comments and Critics are strongly welcomed. Pictures can be found in My Brickshelf (When moderated)
  11. Marek, welcome to Eurobricks! Your moc are simply incredible. Thanks for sharing it with our members, and I am looking forward to more of your work featuring in Eurobricks too. See you around!
  12. Hey everyone, thanks for taking your time to pin down your kind greetings. KimT makes me look I am so young, when in fact I am actually in my mid-20s. I had some good birthday celebrations so far, with my girlfriend and some of my friends in their surprise birthday bash and some good dinner. This year, so far, I have received 3 LEGO sets from them, which are the Dwarves Mine Defender, Republic Fighter Tank and the Republic Attack Shuttle. It seemed when I opened these sets, more reviews could be contributed to our SW Sith Lord. I had a great time so far, and I hope that things in my life will be better as time goes by! It's great to have so many great pals in Eurobricks. Thank you so much! That simply makes me laugh! Thanks svelte_corps for your miniature review, even though I am not that mini. Thanks Cpt P.B. I am surprised to know that you remembered my last year celebration on the birthday experience. I am waiting for the farm and pirate sets to arrive, and spoilt myself with more LEGO sets.
  13. Interesting medieval creation based on modern concept! It's amazing for the dwarves engineers to make use of that rail technology and use them as a cash generating tool for our medieval citizens. I am sure they are going for one wild ride. At first, I thought this moc was only restricted to the front view and bare at the back. However, the unexpected design at the back excites me even more with with those rail bends. Very good use of the skeleton black arms as the use of the tracks. Great job!
  14. One thing to note, you don't have to buy lots of minifigs just to build an army to show that you are particpating in EBRP. Pictures are bonus, but writing is much important, and of course, coordination among players are essential in here. Could you give me another name instead of using Red Valiant? Explain more about what you intend to do with this force. I am likely to recommend your force under certain arrangement in order to integrate it with your plot. In addition, Red Valiant is lead under Lord Calvin Kestrel, wielder of the Shadow Spear, that has been assisting Lord Dragonator in Ravine Tavern, Dromindur attack recently.
  15. Welcome to EBRP. This is all about role playing involved mainly in writing and narrating from your characters' perspective. You are fine to join any kingdom which interest you. However, if there is a current dominat player involved in any of the faction that have settings such as Black Knights Kingdom, Dragon Masters Kingdom and etc. It is best to our knowledge, that we should discuss your plots with us in advance in order for our stories to integrate as one with the current players to ensure that we are aligned. The EBRP Character thread, is the place where you create your main player and non player characters which revolved in your plot. Oh, I just noticed that you are intending to join up Black Knights Kingdom. Do you have similar Black Knights Kingdom figure or at least its shield? In addition, Black Knights Kingdom revolved in 5 main forces. At the moment, Kaela region is garrisoned by Red Valiant Forces while the conflict zone exist currently in Southern Borders, and Black Shards Forces has been converted by the Prince of Darkness. Let me know your interest, and if you are really keen and devote to be part of this storyline. I will try and make some modificiation with my forces or add on to the existing configuration. Do share your thoughts with me. Thanks. Draggy, thanks for pointing out to him. I have re-solved the EBRP Faction Summary.
  16. Have a mega dino bash for your birthday! Be sure to watch out for a balanced diet.
  17. I hope you take my advice seriously, and take a look at our site guidelines. Don't start typing in CAPS. We, understand your point but it is not necessary for you to make it sound or look like we don't understand your point. For your information, please type your posts in a much constructive looking manner with adequate meaning or intention upon posting. Thanks. Lastly, welcome to Eurobricks.
  18. Oh, Peter. Please help me with that, and be careful of your head as well.
  19. Happy Birthday Rayman! Have a great birthday and lots of fun!
  20. Welcome to Eurobricks, Colonel! We are pleased to have you joined up in our hype interactive dynamic community of ours. See you around!
  21. Very nicely done! Somehow, this design of this post office is so classic, and it kind of reminds me of those classic town buildings. Furthermore, I find this rather suitable for the recent CITY postal sets such as the mail van and the airplane. It's a really nice attempt!
  22. Splendid, simply outstanding! Brickster, this is one set which I hope to view it up close and personal and through this review of yours, this set is simply so amazing to play with. There are many fun elements to play with such as the elephant, soldiers' attire/weapons, scorpion, opened roof tops, playing mechanism and etc. More importantly, this set resemble asian culture in India and is one of the few true oriential looking sets which was released by TLG apart from Ninja theme. I do hope I could find this set somehow, when I missed it during my dark age and now you defintely making me feel regret about my decision back then. Thanks for doing another wonderful review for us!
  23. This Gold Knight makes an awesome looking Paladin. I enjoyed viewing this minifig of yours, and I will like to create something similar to lead the golden knights.
  24. Happy Birthday Ras! Have a good time!
  25. Glad to know that you have solved it! I have merged it together to facilitate similar problems together.
