  1. It doesn't harm anyone, by giving a little bit more variety to the Princess outfit. Then again, that torso is so sweet.
  2. Thanks Zorbas for pointing out the right link. DarthSion, please continue to discuss in the other topic. Thanks. Thus, this topic is locked. WhiteFang
  3. Toth, thanks for sharing this link with us. I, for one don't even know what to do with these magnetic bricks, and now you have gave me the right idea to retain these.
  4. A very well presented video review that you have done down there! Like the way you arranged both BrickArms weapons along with the real ones for illustration purposes.
  5. I believe we don't have much time left. I supposed today, is just a day without any findings for us.
  6. Ouch! You are right! Thanks for circling it out for me.
  7. To fear that I will miss my chance of voting, while I am carrying out my duties, I will place my vote as well, with a heavy heart... Vote: Private David Reutal / Dragonator
  8. As for myself, I believe everyone around me knows or at least aware of my LEGO Addiction without me saying it out loud. There is no way that I could hide my sets and boxes in the house, without my parents and sibilings realising it. There is no way that I could hide the fact that I collect LEGO when my girlfriend visits my house or staring at me whenever I suggest a shopping centre that sells LEGO. There is no way that I could stop my friends from knowing that I am a crazy collector whom spend a large portion of my salary on LEGO buying, especially on sales. There is no way that my colleagues will not know, where my office display the Mail Plane, Airshow Plane, some random minifigures, recent LEGO catalogs and even a SW LEGO Dictionary book. I don't think it's easy for me to hide the fact from them, that I do collect LEGO.
  9. Actually I am now inclined to believe Private Yellman's assumption, and to relate her findings together with the other investigator is possible, but do we have enough time convict? Personally, I think we are running out of time... If the rest of the regiment felt his words is worth believing, I am willing to cast this vote as well. On the other hand, I shared the same sentiments with Provost Guard Dalese on the thoughts, of the other half of the regiment flying under the radar.. Till this stage, it's always the same faces that are trying to narrow the suspects..
  10. Monica, is our dear Penny's late grandmother, whom participate in the previous tour, a tragic tour in fact. My father was there, and they were there to stop this tragic incident from happening. From what I can see, the note left by Robert Mantino is trying to confuse us all.
  11. I am not saying its a complete bad set, but it's poor compared to impulse sets like the Traveler, Solder Arsenal and etc. In short, this set lacks the accessories department, and one trident is not really enough to upz the scoring. Correct. This impulse set is lacking of this. Thanks for pointing out. Of course, I believe it's because of the high mould cost for the Manta Warrior which refrain from adding better parts in there.
  12. Wow, that's a very nice aquatic landscaping that you have done there. I really enjoying seeing these aquatic plants which you have make good use of to highlight the greens and seaweed. And, at the same time, the statue is looking tall and grand beneath the ocean floor.
  13. Thanks guys! Hopefully, I could buy a little bit more Altantis sets to build and review. Eh, maybe I have not exactly seen the one I build, but I still don't get where I have done wrong? Is it much expensive in Japan compared to Canada, to buy this impulse set? I will encourage you to buy the Manta Warrior for the sake of collecting this new figure. You never knows when you will ever needs it.
  14. Happy Birthday Alex! It has been a long while since I last saw you around, and I hope you are doing fine and well. Hope you don’t mind for my late belated birthday wishes. And, of course, Happy Birthday to the rest of you!
  15. Excellent review! Seriously, I never had a chance to own any Spiderman sets, and in this case, this set is pretty fun to play with. Imagine the fun and ramping you could get in there. I am so envy of you. Thanks for sharing another one of your great reviews.
  16. Hello everyone, After reviewing the earlier impulse set, 8072 Sea Jet, it's time for me to continue reviewing the other counterpart, whom is one of the Guardians protecting the Atlantis boundaries. Name: Manta Warrior Theme: LEGO System / Atlantis Year: 2010 Pieces: 13 Minifigs: 1 Price: USD$3.49, GBP 2.49, SGD$6.90 Resources: Brickset, Peeron, BrickLink An image of a 8073, Manta Warrior Who is this mysterious looking sea creature? This is none other, one of the Guardians whom are sworn to protect Atlantis from possible invasions. And, in this case, the Atlantis Divers are considered enemies to these unknown sea creatures. This impulse set is likely attract collectors whom are interested to get a couple few more Manta Warriors at an affordable price. Other than that, there are not many reasons for you to buy this set. Instruction Manual and Contents polybags A total of 13 piece count inside this polybag for an impulse set like this barely occupies much space inside this box. Oh well, all impulse set boxes are more or less identical. Manta Warrior This is a new minifigure which is done, specially for the Atlantis theme. The new headpiece is a new head mould. It has quite a soft and hard feeling to it. The head does reminds me of a manta ray. From the above angle, I am sure a few of these warriors could make fine addition to the Altantis army, or even deployed it for Castle and Pirates usage as well. I even though of integrating these Manta Warriors together with the beautiful mermaids. One of the nicest thing, about this set, is the "Trident". This trident weapon is nicely designed, and could be used together with the mermaid, and that's one of the main reason why I choose to buy this set as well. Manta Warrior true expression Once the headpiece is taken off, you could notice some fine details that reflects the mean looking aquatic eyes which is telling us, that he is ready for combat. Rocks formation This is hardly a real rock formation, but merely a few bricks put together. It's hardly a good design, but a poor attempt of doing a small scene to match this Manta Warrior together. Can you see me? Watch out everyone! You probably buy this impulse set, only for one primary reason, is to gather more Manta Warriors inside your collection. The rest of the parts are not very useful either. The new minifigure mould is likely the reason why the cost is high and less piece count, unlike any other impulse sets. Then again, the trident is a very nice aquatic weapon, and its a cheaper method to buy these at one go, without buying the larger sets. Summary review Playability: 2/10 (No real playability, but you could try and play hide and seek with the Manta Warrior.) Design: 4/10 (Manta Warrior design is nicely done, but the rest of the build is pretty much worthless.) Price: 6/10 (It's still quite affordable to buy just one minifigure and a trident, but no other useful elements in it.) Overall: 4/10 (A poor impulse set, but a good one, if you just want to buy one of these new Atlantis Sea Creature for an affordable price or to try our Atlantis theme.) I gave it a "2" based on my Review Score Card. What about yours? Hope everyone of you enjoyed reading this simple review of mine. Comments and Critics are strongly welcomed. 17. Huh? Which day? If you meant Day 2, I wasn't active around, to make my stand, and by the time, I wanted to, it was too late. As for Night 1 action used, and Day 2 reporting, I don't find a need to tell it out, especially when the person doesn't have any actions to do in night... No, I am not an investigator, but someone of another sort of ability... And, I am interpreting this message/findings from one obvious trusted source.
  18. The moustache theory is geninue. If you don't believe, then forget it. I am just helping out whatever I can, to help you guys. Conspiracy? That's plain dumb. Till now, I have not exactly offered any direct cooperation behind the curtains. Dalese was supporting my claim, but that doesn't mean he trusted me completely. We will let the truth speaks for itself.
  19. There are alot of new information available today so far, so it's up to you to decide whom to believe or not, for myself I find it quite hard to believe completely, that both days, there are 2 deserters spotted.. Not sure if its insane or sane, or even complete jackpot. Anyway, we have to make a decision today. I have provided and shared the moustache theory as well, and with this additional info, we need to make a stand.
  20. These are my first Atlantis reviews, which I have done and it is now indexed. 8072 Sea Jet [Review 2] 8073 Manta Warrior [Review 2]
  21. Hello everyone, I am pretty excited, when I bought one of my first Atlantis set, where new underwater divers are introduced in this exciting new theme. This time, the divers are trained to fight against the legendary Atlantis Sea Creatures and searching for rare treasures in submerged cities as well. This impulse set is the beginning of this wonderful new theme. Name: Sea Jet Theme: LEGO System / Atlantis Year: 2010 Pieces: 23 Minifigs: 1 Price: USD$3.49, GBP 2.49, SGD$6.90 Resources: Brickset, Peeron, BrickLink An image of a 8072, Sea Jet Sea Jet 001 reporting for Atlantis expedition The Sea Jet is the smallest diving sea unit inside the Atlantis and is also one of the smallest set inside the Atlantis theme, followed by the 8073 Manta Warrior. For collectors whom are not completely into the Atlantis theme, getting this impulse set will serve as a very useful sampling set for someone whom wants to play and handle with the new minifigure. In this case, I bought this set with this thought in mind. Instruction Manual and Contents polybags Most of the time, this is the kind of content which you are likely to find inside an impulse set. Other than that, you can challenge yourself, like what our Eurobricks member, Toa of Justice has done inside the bag building challenge, in here. Atlantis Diver This is the standard issue diving suit, which is meant for deep ocean diving expedition. This is also definitely not the usual looking diving suit. The suit itself is configured with lime and metallic looking colours, with the Atlantis logo at his left leg. The complicated looking breathing apparatus enable the diver to survive in long hours under the ocean, withstanding the extreme cold harsh temperature. Oh, I forget to take a picture of the diver's headpiece. There is a dual expression indicating a scared looking expression on the other side. This is a new minifigure head expression which was not produced before. Comparison against our Aqua Raiders associates As you can see, both of them has different grade of breathing apparatus. The visors used, for the Atlantis diver is much hardened compared to the light blue goggles. Even the flippers and suits, are made of different colours to match the overall expedition objective. As you can see, the oxygen tank used for the Atlantis diver is twice the amount of oxygen compared to our Aqua Raiders counterpart, which meant, the depth and duration that the Atlantis diver experiences, are much dangerous. Different angles of the Sea Jet The Sea Jet is a simple looking construction, which made use of a motor engine to power the jet that gave the diver more propeller power to navigate the area with ease. The diver must hold onto the handle tightly, and the arm in front is to grab hold of items which is of great interest to the exploration party. The light at the side of the jet aids the diver to view its surroundings with optimum light, so they know what danger is ahead of them. Spare parts He is ready for his first mission... An interesting and simple impulse set for collectors whom are not ready to go into Atlantis theme. This set is very affordable for collectors to purchase the new Atlantis diver minifigure for a very reasonable price, where you are able to obtain the new headpiece and accessories in terms of diving equipment to add into your own minifigure collection. The parts itself for the Sea Jet is pretty alright. The built is simple, and you probably buy this set, mainly to increase the amount of Atlantis Diver. Other than that, it's still a fun jet to play with. Please note that the orange hairpiece is not included inside this impulse set. Off he goes, together with the Aqua Raider, Deep Sea Treasure Hunter Summary review Playability: 6/10 (Not much of playability of its own, but you could use it together with the rest of the bigger Atlantis sets.) Design: 6/10 (The design of the Sea Jet is average, but the main reason for getting this set, is still the diver.) Price: 8/10 (For the price of an impulse set, I think its still affordable to buy it for its minifigure.) Overall: 6.7/10 (A good impulse set for someone whom wants to try out the new Atlantis theme without spending too much money.) I gave it a "3" based on my Review Score Card. What about yours? Hope everyone of you enjoyed reading this simple review of mine. Comments and Critics are strongly welcomed. Pictures can be found in My Brickshelf (When moderated)
  22. Of course. Access granted. Welcome to Reviewers Academy.
  23. No, it does not have value or used to do for other stuff. Once LEGO bricks are glued, it stay glued. Anything that you have done to mess around with it, will results in the ruins of the complete display, ending up losing both. Don't bother to sell as well. A display set remains as a display set, and the main purpose for it to stay glued is to show consumers of some sample sets, and during shipping, this glue will make it stay still.
  24. This is a wonderful fusion of both Oriental, Ninja theme together with modern layout. Love the idea of having this Emperor Stronghold, being build to a full pledge hotel, and for such hotel, I noticed there aren't much windows as well. It appears to be a fortified hotel instead. Nevertheless, this is a nice piece of work! Thanks for sharing.
  25. Wow! Love the use of custom lights in there, and it make it appear to have some magical relic or artefact, glowing in the night, awaiting to come alive.
